Rob has a wild streak when it comes to his red carpet looks. Black leather pants and red velvet jacket, anyone? Rob hasn't gone that extreme in ages but I love it when he breaks out something that's fashionably controversial in the fandom.

GQ gave Rob props for his bold choice at the Sydney fan event for Breaking Dawn Part 2:
Sometimes we just gotta bow down and pay our respect. Usually this involves a really well-executed print shirt. Often Pattinson's involved, too.
That's a pretty nice compliment for a shirt so many of you shivered at and while it may have looked like it was more on the vintage side, that's just not the case.

You know CJ was all over this look from the green-hued suit to the designer shirt. Excerpt from The Fashion Court:
The 26-year-old English actor braved the rain and rocked the red carpet wearing Kenzo tonight at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia as he arrived to an enormous crowd of screaming fans at the first official fan event to celebrate “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, the final installment of the record-breaking vampire movie franchise.
You know, I knew Robert was willing to take a chance with fashion but, this dude is really on a whole other level. He busted out a in-your-face printed shirt and a camouflage moss green suit.
Granted it’s not a obvious bright green, but Robert still flipped my promo world upside down today with this two-button blazer and trousers that he partnered with the bold medallion printed shirt ($325, barneys.com) from the Fall 2012 Menswear Collection.I know this is going to get mixed reviews as it’s so ‘out there’ and ‘loud’, but I kinda dig it — along with the fact that he takes a risk.
Visit TFC to find the purchase link for the Medallion Print Kenzo shirt and to know about Rob's footwear.

So some fashion gurus are into Rob's medallion magic and after almost a week of letting it settle into your Rob brain, what do you think??
