It's not reported online yet but @Gossipgyal received an email from Fox and tweeted the following:
Confirmed: The street date for 'Water for Elephants' within the United States has been announced and is November 1, 2011 via Fox :)
November was confirmed by @H2oforElephants and Twilightish so this is highly possibly. Amazon still doesn't have a date up but you can pre-order your US DVD/Bluray NOW!
