If you buy this in the US, please feed back - the UK version had no extras - does the US have any? It was a TV drama/comedy so might be unlikely. Also, curious if the US version of How to Be had the audition scenes?
Just read the Amazon blurb about Bad Mothers - it's all about Rob marketing-wise - the rest sounds like a sub-plot!

I can see Rob walking on to an awards show to give someone an award in the rainbow jumper, glasses, skinny jeans and a wig (it would have to be now!). For people in the know, he'd bring the house down reading his announcement in character. Oh well, I can dream.
Seriously I wonder if Rob realises how loved his quirky early stuff is - he doesn't talk about them much these days. He better not be embarassed about them - it's what the work adorkable was invented for!

Adorkably hot. Like Superman in disguise, all Rob needs is some black-rimmed glasses, hair falling in his face, chin tucked down, legs awkwardly carrying you around to convince you he's really a harmless, devoted friend. Yep, SuperRob indeed.
This guy is amazing. He is arguably the most beautiful and sexiest man on the planet, yet...
Doofus up his hair, put a pair of 'chess club' glasses on him and dress him up like a blind brain surgeon and wa[la...he's unrecognisable.
Anybody tells me he can't act, I'll punch 'em in the face. As great a leading man as he is, I swear, his forte just might be playing the sweet, awkward social misfits.
I do hope the Coen Bros. get their hands on him one day. Couldn't you just see him playing a Bill Macy role like in Fargo OR the Nicholas Cage character (Hi McDonough) in Raising Arizona? I can.

When we first switched, I wasn't so sure as it took me a bit to get comfortable with it. I did. I miss it too 'cause it's easier to communicate with one another with it. Hopefully, this is just another snafu that'll get worked out.

Nik--I think he needs a well-written script that either shows a character transformation from dork or innocent to hardened (oh, don't get started folks!!) or severe through growth, expereince, or trauma, or a character that eitehr through work (as a spy) or illness or precarious situation has to change at least in interaction from dork or innocent to severe or at least self-confident.

This movie should be epic.I'd love to see it.Think I'll download it as soon as I can find it.Catherine Tate plus Rob equals explosive humor.Have you seen any episode of her show?'Cuz the woman is hysterical.And Rob is a perfect chameleon and an exquisite actor.
I watched this initially for Catherine Tate, she was my favourite Dr Who assistant, but I loved it for Rob/Daniel. I adore that character and I agree that someday he should present an award with Daniel as his alter ego
