Summit Entertainment's THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN will be filmed in
both Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver over the next year starting this
fall. The next chapter of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be released as two
separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres
on November 18, 2011.
Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen
Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner along with Billy Burke as
Charlie Swan as well as returning members of the Cullen Family including
Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Jackson Rathbone as
Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Ashley Greene as Alice and Kellan Lutz as
Emmett.
The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer's
Twilight series, is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck
Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing.
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN illuminates the secrets and mysteries of
this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.
The third film in the franchise, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, is currently
in theatres.

I live in Vancouver so I'm happy they will be filming here partially. Never bothered visiting sets or trying to find them but it's just fun to know when they're in my city!

I read that the studio gets the tax break in Louisiana and part of the scenery is perfect for some of the scenes. Well, let's see, I am about ten hours away from Louisiana. I need to go for this is the closest Rob has ever been to me. Wow, can't wait.

I am from Vancouver as well I am glad to here they will be filming in Vancouver partially. I did not think Baton Rouge could do Forks no offense. My guess outside shots in Van inside down south. A friend who worked on the film said they would film in Baton Rouge.
I do not think the paps bug them that much up here not like New York. Maybe Baton Rouge will be different from New York.

She's gorgeous and obviously gives him what he treasures. She's one very lucky young lady. I hope what it looks like they have lasts them a lifetime. This looks so special that it doesn't happen everyday and I learned the hard way. I didn't hang on to that and memories of what could have been don't warm my bed at night.

For Twilight yes there are always in LA...but..they also have them in London & NY, but the main one is in LA.Rob could not make the other ones this year because of his WFE schedule.

I can't believe how long we're going to have to wait for BD. In 18 months we've had 3 films, & now we're going to have to wait 18 months for the next. The timing seems really stupid to me. Is Summit trying to stretch out the movies as long as possible? They're going to lose fans, because people (ESPECIALLY young girls) are really fickle. The guy they abolutely adore now, is barely going to be a memory in 18 months. Judging by the returns, it sounds like Eclipse is making less money than NM, which probably means some people are no longer interested already. Making us wait just doesn't seem like a smart move to me, but what do I know? And if they are going to make us wait that long for BD, how long is the wait for the Eclipse DVD going to be? They had to get the other DVDs out pretty quickly because of the next movie coming out, but this time they don't. We might not see it until close to the BD release.

BD isn't my favorite book to be totally honest.Except the wedding and the honeymoon and the cottage stuff,the rest was boring as hell.But,i'll see it anyway,because i love Robward.
As for the as*hat ,who posted the pic and tweeted some c*ap about R/K,the only thing i have to say is that some people are really pathetic.They're willing to do anything for their 15 minutes of fame.I understand why R/K are so careful with the people around them.They know that there are many who whould sell them in a minute.

Holy shit! I'm 6 mins away from B.R.!!!!! Totally freaking out right now!
Woo Hoo! BR(the red stick) laissez les bon temps roulez, Twihards! We got great music and great food! Please come. We're one hour from New Orleans and less than that from cajun country. Can't make BR look like the pacific NW or the caribbean but a lot of of BD is in indoors.You can volunteer onthe oil spill while you're here. Save the Pelicans!
Marna--on the other hand, in that year and half we will see other films wth Rob starring, and those who are Taylor fans will see at least one of his, so fans of the actors will have something inbetween. As for the saga, it might give a chance for a new generation of teens, and possibly another set of adult women not yet into it, to read the books and watch the DVDs of the first 3 films and be ready for the 4th. Something similar happened with Harry Potter films and new sets of fans.

So I've finally decided to come out of lurk mode and try to post more often here on this wonderful blog . I suppose the news of BD being filmed merely an hour away from where I live has gotten me a bit giddy and wanting to sorta join in... sorta speak. It's nice to see there are other fans out there in my neck of the woods. I would love to meet up with some of you gals... and also those traveling in to witness the pretty in action! ;)
Wohooo Im about 2 to 2 and a half hours away from B.R.! Omg!! Im gonna need to travel there because I just want one glimpse of the almight Rob!! :D
