I liked it... I love those silly glimpses in Rob's psychie... even if they are a bit frightening.. :)
She could totally be one of the Irish Vamps in BD... if they can't let her be a rock... here and Jennifer Love Hewitt.. would lve to see them both in BD.. just cause they love it all so much!
Can you imagine a reality where things that you said when you were 17 years old were repeated for the whole world to hear seven years later? Arrrghh. Hasn't he admitted to going through a self-conscious tortured artist phase at this time too? Granted, this is a harmless little anecdote, it's pretty cute even. And yet, I would definitely put this sort of thing in the "downside of fame" category.
Rather Not, I agree with what you're saying, but the truth is that IS the way the world is now, not just for the famous. Everybody who's into social networking, or making their presence known on the net has put themselves in the same position. When I was working, if someone applied for a job, we would always Google them. I can't tell you how many times we found embarrassing photos or posts that just knocked them out of the running, even if they were years old. And it's a pretty common practice, so even though Rob said this to a person (was he trying to pick her up? LOL)& didn't post it, it's out there forever.
I don't know who Katee Sackhoff is, this is the first time I hear of her.
But after watching this clip I must agree that she is really funny. And I must say that little story about Robert and his humburger comment, well it's funny but just really weird. I wonder what Robert was thinking? So weird.
Anyways very cute interview, and it's a good thing that Robert is out of the teen years. And I hope that he is cutting back on smoking. Her talk about Robert chain smoking saddened me, and at seventeen at that (it's SO unhealthy). So I really hope that as Robert got older he started to cut back (I hope that he will be healthy and live a long good life).
I also hope they give her a role in BD, just because she seems SO excited for Twilight and she is all for Edward.
That's such an odd story, it's probably true! But she may have taken some artistic licence with the story, she seems like a comedian - comfortable with the mic. But remember, he was in the bar and at 17 he must have had about six ....um ... lemonades....?
He has matured, especially in the last 18 months. He did have a nuttier side to him when he was younger (including when he did How to Be) and it shows a lot in the early clips. All good hilarious fun!
@Brina world--Here's what I caught and I'm unfamiliar with James Callas so I don't know if I spelled his name right.
Katee: Laughing so hard, sorry.
Q: A friend of mine recently let me know that you are fan of Twilight, and so in keeping in line with the questions recently asked at the Elena Kagan hearing, ah, Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Laughter
K: Team Edward. It’s so … and I’m completely biased because before Rob became what he is today I was at a convention in London seven years ago and he was like 17. He’d just done Harry Potter. He was chain smoking like a crazy person in the bar and I’m sitting there with my mom and James Callas, and he’s insane. And he told me this story, he completely zoned out and goes “I’m sorry, I just had a waking dream where my mother was a hamburger and I wanted to eat her.”
Much laughter
K: I looked at James Callas and went “I think you just met your match. 'Cause they are both insane. In such a lovely way. They are both like charismatic eccentric people and so I just kind of developed this like older sister crush, no not older sister that would be really awkward, like this older babysitter crush on Rob. Um, so I just watch him do this whole Twilight thing and he’s just so cute. So I’m kind of obsessed with it though ‘cause the books were so awesome. And I was trying to like get in the Twilight series. I told them “I’ll be a rock. Just put me like a rock in the fight scene at the end with the Volturi and…. No? Okay. I’ll just stand back here and when you guys want to watch my tape (she holds up her hand)”
Katee Sackhoff played Lt. Starbuck in the FANTASTIC remake of Battlestar Galactia, it was on from 2004-2009. Ugh the only chick I would go gay for talking about the one guy I would do unmentionable things to... My year is complete.
awww How cute is she? I think I'm in the same boat. She seems off a bit...just like me. I think the sense of humor thing, when she talks about Rob's story...tis so me. hahaha

By the way, who IS Katee Sackhoff anyway?
