Want To Win Tickets To The UK "Eclipse" Premiere?
Ok so we know Rob won't be at the UK "Eclipse" Premiere but would you turn down the chance to free tickets??
Didn't think so.............
Volvo UK are giving away a pair of tickets to the UK Premiere in Leicester Square on Thursday 1st July 2010. The competition goes live on Facebook tomorrow, see below for further details....
On Tuesday 29 June 2010 a Twilight Saga: Eclipse branded black Volvo XC60 will be placed somewhere in central London.
A clue to the Volvo XC60's location will be revealed at 3pm GMT on the Inside Volvo UK Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/insidevolvouk). Make sure you 'Like' the page and keep checking Facebook for updates. Further visual clues will be released at regular intervals until someone finds the Volvo XC60.
All you have to do to win the tickets is track down the Twilight Saga: Eclipse branded Volvo XC60, put your hand on the car and shout "I found Edward's Car". (Kate: Let's hope there's not too many Volvo's around or that could get pretty embarrassing {giggle})
And in case you're having any problems remembering what it looks like, I'm gonna give you a helping hand!
Actually I just really love this ad and any excuse is better than none to post it!
Good Luck to everyone!!

This is a beautiful commercial for Volvo. It's also another great example of how merchandisers are fueling the system.
Media is all about selling product, even when that product is itself. Summit has done it with their products, the movies,,, they promote and exploit for increased profits, and wow, they've broken records everywhere you look. The sad part of all this sales push is that the fans are unable to see it is about the business of selling illusion.
But,,, maybe that's why it works so well for them; people are as blind to the predatory business end of this manufactured fandom as the hmans are to the werewolves and vampires. That's why we are all such easy prey.
Quick, everyone with recent volvos, get them out and park them everywhere in central London. That would be great~! LMAO
OMG,what next.....I wouldn't want to leave my car out that day.....don't want evryone's dirty finger prints all over my car ty...
Actually, this is getting to be pretty fun. I have a pal in London and we're gonna work in teams on facebook and skype. He better move his @ss is all I'm sayin'. ;)
