This clip is so disappointing. Bella NEVER left Edward on the bike with Jacob, she left Alice. Huge difference, and I dont like that she called Edward a liar...never happened in the book either. It just makes it look like Bella is on Team Jacob, which clearly is misleading. Melissa Rosenberg (whatever the H*ll her name is(screenwriter)) sucks! I wonder how Stephenie Meyers feels about all this?

Well we all knew that it was not going to completely follow the book, i am hoping for the best. but i agree that face was just so sad :( bella never would have done that to edward, sneaking off yes but not in front of his face.
Do these people read the books at all? Because they're pushing the triangle thing a bit too much in my opinion. Yeah and Jacob lose the grin 'cause Robward is gonna get the girl anyway LOL
ladies,do not worry lets wait until the 30th and lets see,i know for now it looks misleading because somethings are wrong already but yesterday there was a spoiler alert posted on spunk ransom about eclipse i read it i wrote invited you ladies to read it,how have no idea how much saw or read it,any it was good she wrote you never saw the dog in the picture and the hold picture he was annoying she wrote about the kiss between jacob and bella and she wrote about the lots of kisses between edward and bella she wrote we will be quite please,so smile ladies

I'm sorry but I've got to say that was one disappointing clip. Bella is too harsh. In the book she would never leave Edward like that. As a matter of fact when Jacob told her about Victoria she started to panic, and Edward had to hold her.
But I must say that Robward is delicious in this clip, and I love Edward/Robward.
And maybe just maybe if they made some scenes worse, then they have made some scenes better to counterbalance? (even though I'm not holding my breath, here's to hoping), and I'll be reading the reviews on this site when the movie comes out.
I wish the clip were better. I'm still not excited for Eclipse.
people why can you get the idea that the books are one thing and the movies are other completely different!!!! you want every thing exactly the same... that can´t be done!!!! just watch every adaptation of books on this business!

I'm still smarting over the still that shows Reilly and Victoria with Edward in their clutches----!!!!!!! They, Summit/Rosenburg, have ruined the whole Edward is invincible (to all but the Volturi). The reinterpreted Edward and invulnerable Jacob are too much to stomach!
I am knowing the books are so much better but I still am glad we get to see an animated Edward-I mean he is not just in our minds anymore. I was so glad Rob thanked Catherine Hardwicke, for without her wise judgment, we would have no blazing hot career for Rob!

I liked it that way. It's impossible to put the book into a movie. Eclipse is the best book but the most difficult one and I'm sure David Slade has made an amazing job out of it.
Bella leaving Edward to go away with Jacod is a good way and probably the best way to get into the story without loosing time... There are loads of details in the book that cannot be put into a movie...
Let's not forget it's an adaptation... and i'm sure it's gonna be awesome! Loads of Rob, loads of Jacob... Yes! you can be Robsessed and Team Jacob at the same time... LOL...
About the make-up, Edward in Twilight is better, I think, not so unnaturally pasty chalky white. Or CH was just better at lighting, bringing out a more believable paleness kind of look. In NM, I fell like seeing a play on stage. Just my opinion.
Totally agree. I was like WTF! that never happened in the book or call Edward a Liar. Why in the world would they put that in the movie. It never happened. Did that Melissa chick pull that crap out of ass?

I was kind of upset by this scene too - because this never happened in the book - the merged two scenes - errrrrr.....and you guys are right, Bella would have never left Edward like that.
If reading Eclipse was a sacrifice, watch Eclipse the movie will be a horrible experience, when de script are made by a cruel woman, she already show her preference for jacob, disgusting old woman!!!
I was somewhat upset by this clip because they merged two scenes in the book into one. It was backwards, Edward said Bella's line, "He was checking to see if you're human." - Bella would have NEVER left Edward there alone, OMG!!
Everybody said New Moon was gonna be crap when the trailers came out and it was a great movie... So let's wait and see and not judge the movie before it comes out!
If all we can do is always critisize, then why see it to start with?
well well, I just hope that "Eclipse" will not be a dissapointment... it's normal that they do not follow the book in 100%. but this must be close to the book, there is no room for absolute interpretation.
I start thinking, that I should have not read the books first, but to wait for all the movies and only then read the books...
and is this just me, or Bella's wig is so obvious? each time I watch the trailer, it feel like the wig waves for 'hello', lives separate life from Bella...
still "Twilight" movie is No.1...

I'm just curious, how will Melissa adopt Stephenie's cherises to Jacob in this film. She made it well in NM. My opinion is Bella keen for the eternity and not for Edward....in the book too. But it doesn't mean I love this way of the story. I accept it.
