I LOVE that his Mum has the George Clooney magazine framed in her loo... I'd do the same thing!

We all know this story - but this is the best 'take' of it I've ever heard.

Chris Connelly has an interview tonight with English acting sensation Robert Pattinson, and the two cover everything from acting nerves to his Twilight character Edward holding back sexually in his relationship with Kristen Stewart's Bella.
Two of the more interesting items already getting some notice are Pattinson's admission that he stole a friend's valium to calm himself before auditioning for his breakout Twilight role, and this exchange about mortality and having so much success at such a young age:
Pattinson: I guess I just thought if too many good things happen, then you're going to die at 30. I was like, I didn't want that to happen.
Connelly: But the good things have kept happening.
Pattinson: Yeah, so probably I'm going to die at 30. Actually, it's God saying, "You shouldn't have asked for too much."
Much more tonight.

it's weird that he thinks that because I think the EXACT same way
it does seem like people whether famous or not famous who have so many good things happen to them and could have everything anyone could possibly want never really live long??
Maybe it's just coincidence that that happens to people but it does seem like thats the way life works
on the other hand it seems like people who have the worst luck or are always striving to be better end up living long lives.
I double clicked on the videos and it linked me to the ABC sight where the videos are viewable. Try this link:

@Ana - going to my email.
OK- Just saw him on Nightline.
Cherry--it is a very unhealthy attitude, and unfortunately many end up livng that attitude in a way that makes it G-d forbid a self-fulfilling prophesy. It aggravates the heck out of me to hear and see this attitude, especially from Rob.
Rather than seeing life as a sum, where if too much good comes too early you hav eused it up, as if you are measured a certain amt of luck and then no more, no matter what you do, there are several other possible ways to view the world that make life livable for a really long time.
Also--someone ought to remind Rob that all of the aggravation he has (papz, screams, lack of privacy, etc) offsets the chance of his using up all of the good stuff too soon.

Hey everyone ~
He is not even 25 yet and anything can happen before he is 30, it is bit of a gloomy thought to have because no one knows what the future holds for him but I think he will continue to go from strength to strength, and at some point leave Edward behind. Speaking for everyone here and I hope you don't mind, we see him much more than Edward and at the moment his fame is related to Edward which will pass and he will be known for his other work. I can see him being around for a long time.
I hope that makes sense.
Also he always look really good but in the nightline videos, he looks really REALLY good, its being outdoors so much, it suits him :)
poor Rob he looks tired with bags under his eyes :( boy needs a rest.
