I know some people think we're over reacting to her comments, but I'm sorry, I think she meant to be rude. She had plenty of chances to qualify her "Team Jacob" comment, and she refuses to. She just comes across like a total brat to me. She doesn't belong on the same planet as Rob LOL.

Anyway, when Jay asked her which team she was on, she made it sound like it was about Robert instead of Edward the character. It looked to me that she was a bit condescending when she said that his hair is nice in real life--knowing that Rob is quite sensitive, maybe he got offended.
Had she concentrated on the character and not the person who played it, it might have been more pleasant for all of them.
And yes, I'm not just Team Edward, I'm Team Robert :)
I think the girl's just young and immature and if her and Michael are a couple then of course she's gonna be a bit hostile towards Rob because of Kristen........she'll grow up learning very fast.
I'd love to know what Rob's thoughts are on this and if he's taking it seriously....somehow I doubt it.

Wow - just read that Emma Roberts deleted her Twitter account after Team Robward gave her a piece of their minds. As much as I don't agree with the way she handled herself, I don't think harassing her was the right message to send from us fans. I think Rob's reaction should have been vindication enough for us. I don't like the idea of her getting 5 seconds of fame just for being rude to Rob. She doesn't qualify as a celebrity in my eyes.
The Interview: Very entertaining and Rob showed how much he loves his father. He also showed that he and his father are close friends. I really enjoyed watching him.
Rob: Charming funny and that damn walk was soooo sexy. His close up pick was absolutely gorgeous. love the tongue.
Emma: I don't think she was rude. I think she was asked a question and answered it without honesty. If she is dating Michael (kristen x) it would be very difficult to say "I think the guy who may be dating my boyfriend's x is hot".
I also think she didn't want to appear as apart of the bandwagon. She tried to be different. Rob's comeback was funny, quick, and cut like a knife, but I don't think he was upset.
I do think he was shocked when she said she didn't want to sit by him, but he got over it quickly. Her comment about not sitting next to him was said out of embarrassment. Rob's comeback cut very deep.
Overall very please with Rob"s interview. I am also happy to see that he has someone he can obviously just talk to. Someone who truly knows him and someone who will love him unconditionally.
Lastly, Robs getting use to fame. He's learning to live with the attention. notice the comment about his life before fame.
I really loved this interview and I hate that this exchange with Emma ruined it. I don't think that Emma meant to be rude and I think that Rob's comment was a joke. Rob is a friend of Taylor and he would not put him down and I believe that he would not put the fans down either. But, I just saw an article that said that Rob said that all the women who are Team Jacob don't have any taste. This upset me because I don't want this to hurt his career.
Oh for heaven's sake. That stupid woman has no class. Whereas he is simply too classy to feed her silly mind. Did you notice how he started shifting away from her? That said it all.

This was an interesting look into an odd hallway interview... but what was Emma "not happy about" in her response? Rob definitely looked to just want to get past the girl and the interview and camera and even glanced back at his body guard to make sure he was right behind him. He didn't give her much of a glance, just the camera and he was out of there.
As I said last night, I think that she was deliberately rude and that future casting directors would think twice about putting those together in a film. It may not hurt her career,,, but then again,,, who is the bigger draw?
I don't think Rob appreciated her comments and was even shocked by her asking if she had to sit next to him. (As if any other woman in the world wouldn't take that seat in a hot second!)
Too bad about her, but the overall interview was great, and I loved that he gave it back to her... especially after the condescending comment about his hair.

He seems to stay pretty grounded, but he's a sensitive guy,,, made all the more obvious by choosing to read his father's lovely letters, among other things. I do hope that he can put this kind of thing aside, but as most of us are aware of, it's the little things that chip away at us, and one by one little jabs, slams, gossip, relationship speculating, and constant pappz would drive anyone crazy. I'm glad he's got his family nearby now; they provide him a safe haven of sanity in this insane Twilight swirl.
I sure hope he can enjoy some private time with them and relax and rest a bit more. He's mentioned his lack sleep a few times now.

I think her comments are just directed to Rob in general. And sorry but she can't go around being hostile to the people she may not like or may hold some silly grudge with - if it is anything to do with Michael. And it could well be, whether dating, or close friends...She could have something against Rob. Pathetic though, since a) Rob didn't date Michael b) Michael did the dumping - so if he's done tears over Kristen - shouldn't have dumped her then. But anyway, whatever her problem is, she needs to work on it. She'll be in the public eye a lot. That interview, and the actual one where the drama started, she came across as rude. In the interview and in that video though, Rob did good. :) His comeback was funny, as always he's funny. And he just walked away. Better than her. I doubt he's going to be getting much rest anytime soon. I imagine he's already back to work on WFE as he had to take time away for Eclipse promotion and he'll lose at least half of another day with the premiere coming up next week. And then I think he said he had a month off between this one and the start of BD which will most likely involved some pre-production (like spending some time with the babies he'll be working with so they'll be used to him) plus some possible post on WFE like looping dialouge or maybe even a reshoot or too and didn't Kristen say they were looking at a six month shoot for BD? And if they start in October, that will take him to next April? And then...possibly Unbound Captives? So no. I don't think he's going to be getting any real rest for at least another year or so. Not even for the holidays this year as they will fall in the middle of filming BD.
I'm tired just thinking about it.

It wasn't what Emma said it was how she said it and her reactions. I think you could tell there was a lot of tension between them and she was full of animosity towards him in my opinion. I wonder what went down in those 10 minutes of meeting time before they went on stage.
There are ALWAYS weird out of context Rob comments that surface in the news after interviews. ie: "Rpatz is allergic to vaginas", "Rob smells", "Rob has head lice and had to shave his hair", "Rob thinks Team Jacob fans have no intellect". If you (and if you're reading this then you are) are an avid Rob fan then you have listened to the true source of these comments and you can pick out all the misconstrued "headlines" that arise from Rob's quirky sense of humor (which I love).
Just like Leno said about washing his car with bottles of Perrier (or whatever), the gossip news gets things wrong most of the time and stars and their fans (as well as parents apparently) just need to be smart about what they read.

It wasn't what Emma said it was how she said it and her reactions. I think you could tell there was a lot of tension between them and she was full of animosity towards him in my opinion. I wonder what went down in those 10 minutes of meeting time before they went on stage.
There are ALWAYS weird out of context Rob comments that surface in the news after interviews. ie: "Rpatz is allergic to vaginas", "Rob smells", "Rob has head lice and had to shave his hair", "Rob thinks Team Jacob fans have no intellect". If you (and if you're reading this then you are) are an avid Rob fan then you have listened to the true source of these comments and you can pick out all the misconstrued "headlines" that arise from Rob's quirky sense of humor (which I love).
Just like Leno said about washing his car with bottles of Perrier (or whatever), the gossip news gets things wrong most of the time and stars and their fans (as well as parents apparently) just need to be smart about what they read.
And to clarify, I'm not referring to the team Jacob comment, who fucking cares about that? Really?

Rob has a charming chat with Jay. Emma enters and is asked which team she prefers. She makes a comment about his hair and apologizes to Rob and announces her loyalty to Team Jacob. Rob jokes about her lack of taste. They laugh. Jay jokes about this being their last meeting. Emma asks if she has to sit next to Rob for the rest of the show. Again, a joke. She's not a comedian. Her delivery was off as well as her timing. It was a joke. She's young. She's not the first actor to get her words all mixed up and misconstrued.
Rob needs to get from point A to point B and has to walk across the hall to do so. In the middle of both points are an interviewer, the interviewee, and a cameraman. What does Rob do to avoid: a) interrupting the interview, b) "high jacking" the interview, and c) being delayed? He politely averts his eyes, wipes all expression off his face, and walks toward point B. End of story.
What do rabid Team Edward fans do? Attack Emma for her comments. Rob may be sensitive and have a fragile ego, but this is the same man who handled 75,000 people who thought him an ugly, untalented gargoyle. He seems to value his family's and his friends' opinions very much. I doubt the opinion of one girl is going to hurt him. He says he doesn't like having people do things for him. Let him fight his own battles. This hardly seems worth his time.
Did anyone notice Rob's Mom walking in front of him. :)
She should have just said Team Jacob, not the remark about the hair. THe hair does not make Edward. And I think what top the cake was she said, "Do I have to sit next to him for the next few minutes?" That was what threw Rob off..That was rude. Kidding or not. Yeah her and Kstew might be the same age, but Emma R. needs a lot of growing up to do...Rob proved who was the better person by not responding back to her. Love the strut and the slow motion..Yum...

British humor, that is all it was. Rob was on a talk show, he said something he thought was funny and Emma was caught off guard by her lack of British humor. Then everyone blowed it up just like the things he said in Detail Mag. I don't think he has given it another thought, too busy with getting on with his life, but of course this incident will be talked to death until another one occurrs. And Laurie you are so right, Rob reminds me a whole lot of Elvis.

Nothing major happened on JL (going by the videos) that warrants this much attention, but the furious reaction and closure of the twitter a/c is wrong and I'd imagine that Rob would be freaked out to hear that. Pretty much everything I would want to say has already been said by:
