The Best Kiss Presentation - wow!
Two little jokes by Rob - first of all he grabs the popcorn award before Kristen could drop it (like she did last year!)
Then he mentioned the strong competition for the Best Kiss award, referring to Kristen and Dakota's kiss being nominated... Kristen even gave someone (Dakota?) a thumbs up for that ...
Kristen so did not want to kiss him, but he snook one in anyway. Don't you think he would be just so happy to tell the world they are in love?

I think it was a Rob and kristen´s joke to let the impression that she didn´t kiss him, it´s like the last year...Rob said that was kristen´s idea to make the show.
I´m agree with you, I´ve got the feel that Rob will be very happy to tell at the world that is in love with Kris, I think the paparazzi are not a problem for him but yes for Kristen.
Together look so cute, a very handome couple, they admire each other and sure know sharing laughing moment, Rod is so funny and ironic.
At first I thought that the actual kiss was unplanned by the look on Kristen's face. But then I looked at Rob and I knew it was unplanned. He has that I-am-in-so-much-trouble look on his face. Way to go for what you want, Rob!

I can't get over how bubbly they both were - simply adorable. I can not stop smiling today, I am so happy for them.

Rob's done some great stuff on MTV, like Love Bites and the Laura Culpepper iv in 2008, and the only way to see them relatively clearly is by taping them. MTV clips on YouTube are always blurry and they are so protective of their material outside the US.

Best part of the whole night when Rob grabbed Kristen at the end and finally kissed her to her surprise but absolutely delighted Rob. And for him to win over Johnny Depp. Hollywood, look out, for Rob Pattinson is in the house.

@Carole - that's the jacket and v neck he wore for Eclipse Promos - looks like he's worn it out quickly - he's always got frays and button issues! ITA about Peter F's speech, it overshadowed everything, Nikki and Jasper were there and they were hardly noticed because all focus was on him. I realised later that Kellan and Ashley weren't there either.
When Jasper was i/vd on the red carpet he looked a little bit like Rob, he's very good looking too, but he tries hard not to be pretty.
It was good to see Rob and Tom C actually together. TC's got huge credibility now after all the LG stuff.
What was up with Jessica Alba, even Rob got the vibe to keep some distance?
No awards for Taylor Swift or Zac Ephron. Rob seems to have totally overtaken Zac these days.

@TotallyRobbed. I noticed too that strange moment with Jessica when Rob didn't give her a hug but I also saw how her eyes were following him, lol. Another dazzled one. So maybe it was just the timing, Rob was a little confused about the second award for Global Superstar he forgot about Jessica. Only Kristen will wear an everyday jewelry with a red-carpet outfit. Necklace must be a very special gift :) I read in one site that the symbol of the pendant is that of ancient chinese charm of 2 gold coins joined together to form a gourd. In ancient Chinese culture, the gourd is popular as a charm to ward off evil spirits and disease and also symbol for "happiness" or "good fortune". It looked like it's custom-made.

It was so sweet when Peter turned around and hugged Kristen and kissed her cheek at the end of his acceptance speech. Could someone get a screen cap of that? I love how this cast sticks together and defends each other.

I agree Carol. When the little dude was saying goodnight, I thought how about Global Superstar. They didn't do that award and then I remembered seeing Rob with two awards and that wel, how tacky was that. He deserved the recognition for each separate entity.

I have always been a big believer in Robsten, they seem to have a chemistry together. After watching last night, it is undeniable that Rob is infatuated with her (the adoring smile during her speech, the stolen kiss, and his "thank you" to her). But she gives no indication of having the same feelings towards him..... Maybe they really are nothing more than best friends.
Ana, I agree about Wahlberg but thought he was par for the course. MTVMAs wasted 2 hours of my time and countless brain cells. Watching the audience cringe at the train wrecks dubbed skits was the night's kinky high point! The rushed exodus at the end summed it all up...

I think you are right. Rob does nseem like an open book but with his level of fame he realises that he can't just say what he wants to about K. I know Rob has moments with the paps and press but I don't think he holds on to anger - his nature makes it impossible for the media to dislike him. But K has stronger reactions and creates stronger reactions - I really like her. When their relationship is confirmed by them officially, I think Rob will be quite relieved because he's obviously so proud of her and always praises her highly.
Now when I think back to the BAFTAs in February - what was that all about with them sitting next to complete strangers in separate rows? So many changes in the last few months ...

It's so obvious on his part especially, I believe he knows he has to be careful, I do think that she's a little more strict about it, and rightfully so, because of the never ending ???'s, I do think that they've been told to "cool it" by the studio, but that little bit of rebel in Rob is saying....na ha...if I want to show affection to my girl, even if it's subtle I'm going to do it. He is an open book when it comes to this, and I think he really wants the world to know.....but...he can't. He's totally smitten it's obvious.

I'm actually kind of glad the camera didn't capture it from a clear angle. It was a public display that still managed to retain its mystery. Just look at the debate here: did they, or didn't they? Rob knows, and that's all that really matters!

Rob was so amazing...Kristen beautiful...both looked very very happy together.
Yesterday we can see a lot of details from them...first able, it´s obvious that Rob admire Kristen and he´s proud of her, only we can see his face when she accept the awards...when Rob thanhs to her, it´s the first time, he look nervious when he did it...and marvellous moment of the kiss at the final he wanted to kiss her.

Well it all started at last year's awards I suppose it's an annual tradition that they are going to do something funny. Next year it will be the Eclipse kiss then maybe two more years of Breaking Dawn kisses! They're going to have to be inventive every year. Maybe by the last MTV award we'll get a proper kiss please! Either that or RP&KS will be so huge that they won't need to attend the MTV awards.

He just radiated joy last night. Was ever a happier soul born? It makes me chuckle to think he became famous for playing pesky, broody Edward.... Then again, it may also be the main reason why he was the only one who could play the role right!
Kristen never has been girlie,girlie, but she actually had some jewelry last night. I have never seen her wear earrings, maybe her ears are sensitive but she was smoking hot in the dress,prefect figure. Was Rob's outfit the same one on the Eclipse poster of him by himself? Oh, the other thing that surprised me about Kristen, she had blue fingernail polish.

He never ceases to amaze me. His charisma got noticed less than 2 years ago when he was so young and it's very rare to have that kind of charisma at a young age (then 22). There are hundreds of handsome actors with good features, suntans and six packs, but they don't have Rob's originality and there has never been anyone remotely like Rob. His looks alone are really extraordinary, but he's funny and witty and has charisma, a wicked sense of humour and fun (that reaches across all countries and cultures - everyone "gets" him!) and he's loved for his sexiness as much as he is for his wonkiness! His sheer happiness of being in the moment and his lack of ego is also very attractive. He's a national treasure now. It's also very obvious that he got into acting for ALL the right reasons and he's causing a lot of ripples in hollywood just by being true to himself. It takes a very pure soul to do something like that.
It's never going to stop - because he is so LOVEABLE, we are going to find more and more things to love about him.

They never said they were together...they are still saying they are NOT together and nobody beilieves them...I think its rude to say they are together and try to stick your nose into their business and try to prove them wrong. You can't blame two people for not being nervous or akward when they know of the rumors people are saying. Still don't see why people can't believe and take what they say and just let it go. @Nickie Actually, in no recent interview have denied dating. If they answer at all, it's a sarcastic reply or joking response. This shows that something is going on to hide, otherwise they could just say no. As for the awkward kiss.... That was the joke, they planned the awkwardness, step on her foot push him away thing. I don't think they ever planned on actually kissing. That is until Rob got a mind of his own :)
@ Nickie, for a while now, they never denied that they are together. When asked the question, they deflect with a joke.
I think the whole kiss skit was planned with the exception of the end when Rob surprised Kristen by going in for the kiss. Eventhough it was a surprise, she still kissed him, I guess she reacted naturally since she put her hands around his neck to pull him in instead of pushing him away if she didn't want to kiss him. Rob's mischevious smile and him sticking his tongue out says it all.
Ashley Greene said recently that Kristen doesn't let her guard down easily in public. Just because she doesn't show it the same way doesn't mean she feels differently than Rob. I mean, who would fly halfway round the world so she can spend her b-day and new year's with a guy if she doesn't care about him. Its in the little things too as evident last night, when Kristen found something funny, she'd turn to look at Rob and when she tripped,automatically she turns to Rob and playfully nudges him. She doesnt have to scream it from the roof tops. They both looked really comfortable with each other.
@Cityofglass and Lovehim, you've said it all. Why it bears repeating still amazes me. People see what they want to see or need them to shout it from the rooftops. I didn't believe anything for a long time until those long flights she took. Obviously, Nickie has not kept up. Sorry to sound snarky, but I'm getting kind of tired of the debate. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck, and beyond that it's theirs to protect and not ours to judge or expect anything from them. They're different "ducks" in a very different situation than almost any any celebrity couple. Bless them and keep them happy. They deserve and need each other.
The non kiss was so cute - apparently it didn't go the way they thought it would but it was still cute.
Our work is done ladies - we all helped Rob get those awards to see him get up there and thank all of us......I know he realizes how much we love him.

Did anyone else not the fact that Rob and Kris are SO together for real because their body language cannot lie! Rob looked so proud and smitten when Kris accepted her award which is SO cute! And then when she slipped on the way to get the best kiss award she tried to hide by snuggling his shoulder. And to top it all off did anyone else notice how she kept cupping the back of his neck with her hand?! You don't do things like that with someone you're not intimate with!!! You don't grasp the back of a boys neck for just a joke stunt! I envy her!
