he said that he stressed to have the Premiere in Paris for BEL AMI. In a party he met the french actress Marion Cotillard and he told her to read the script of BEL AMI and she could have a perfect character for her. She said him that is strange to make BEL AMI in english and that in this moment that he understood that perhaps in France the movie can be dificult but he trust that the French can see it with open spirit.

The journalist ask him foe the not sucees of REMEMBER ME...Rob said that the movie didn´t make as a blockbuster, is a small movie and no more promotion. The movie hace 60 millons dollars all around the word and the cost was 16, so no it´s bad. He said that since the beginning he wasn´t care about the box office.

Yeah I think it's in July sometime...they're looking into surgery but monitoring things at the mo, it's looking pretty encouraging because the appointments are supposed to be every six months but they've put this one off until July so that must be a good sign!

I think woman who don't get him are those who don't KNOW HIM! They know nothing of that original thinking mind. His quirky offbeat sense of humour. His skewered way of looking at the world. They've only seen him in the Twilight kabookee makeup or the papp shot in a beanie with scruff.

With these sexy pics of HHH nobody seems interested in the interview lol. But actually it's one of the best I've read since a long time. The interview took place the day Rob was going to let his hair cut, so it's very recent. He and the interviewer get along very well and you feel it, he's more open in his answers about Eclips, Remember me etc. Perhaps one of the French ladies can translate the text for the others?

I totally understand what you mean about Cruise, Pitt and many other actors like them.
I have to amdit that at first I didn't like Rob. At all. I always was against everything that almost everyone liked and that's because people tend to like things/people just because they are in fashion and as a result they somehow 'have' to like them.
That's what happened with Rob. When the twilight craziness began I thought that Rob was another movie star who would be forgotten as soon as someone else comes to the surface.
But when I started reading the books (February 2009), I wanted to know more about the guy who played my beloved Edward. So I read and watched every interview I could find. Every single of them made me learn something new about him. It was then that I realised that Rob is the real deal; when I got to KNOW him. When I realised that he is all these things that we know he is! (I won't start analyzing that 'cause we all know it will take days!)
So yes, I totally agree with your 'give him 5 years' comment! I'm sure that when twilight is over and people will have forgotten about it and finally be more objective, they will understand who Robert Pattinson really is. The actor and the human. The real him.
I think of it like DiCaprio's case. (Although we all know that Rob is way better!!) I didn't like him at first (because EVERYONE did and I didn't want to like him just to be in fashion). But look at him now. He has done great choices and everyone recognizes his worth. I'm not a fan of his but I do appreciate him as an actor! Rob, too, does great choices and that's because he chooses things that are good and he likes and he believes in and not just to make money and remain famous. (like Taylor)
People will get to appreciate him, they just need time.
Rob is not just a celebrity crush, he's someone who totally is worth to be a fan of. A true fan!
