Several things you’ve posted since yesterday had me thinking quite a bit on the subject of Kristen. You said that in order to have an opinion about someone you should be ready to voice said opinions to that person's face. Ok, the thing is, a blog is a place where people are bound to voice and bounce ideas, their ideas, with other people with a similar interest. This is not a fan event where Kristen is (or should be) present. Rob, and everything related to him, is the subject at hand. So we’ll all be talking a heck of a lot about them. And it can’t all be bunnies and peaches. These are flawed people, just like us all, so we are bound to stumble on those flaws every now and then and discuss a little about it.
And maybe I’m not reading carefully enough, but I really haven’t seen anyone be overly horrible to Kristen in here. Some say she needs to be more careful about what she says, others say they don’t care for her, others that she should be a little more grateful…. most really like her and feel for her. But has anyone really been too acid in their dislike? I think not. People in this blog seem pretty civilized to me. As a matter of fact, there seem to be more ‘stop the fighting’ posts than any actual fighting taking place.
As far as I’ve read, and as far as the things I’ve said myself, we are not saying she’s evil, or that something horrible should happen to her or that she’s fat or that…. any kind of other petty and low comment that can really be translated as envy or some other mental distress as far as the person voicing the opinion is concerned. Some of us have simply observed certain things about her we don’t necessarily like or agree with and we voice it.
Now, would I voice some of my ideas to Kristen’s face? Quite frankly, no. But not for the reason you think, not because I’d be ashamed. I simply wouldn’t approach her because she is not a friend or acquaintance of mine. If I saw her in the airport, at a restaurant, walking down the street, I simply would not approach her, period. But I’m still not ashamed of my opinions, and under the right circumstances, say, if she and I were indeed friends, yes, I would let her know a couple of things that were in my mind. More specifically, to simply try and get her to consider gaining some perspective, or just getting someone to coach her on her interviews!
Yes, when those horrible stalkers called the paparazzi go right to her face and yell at her to get a reaction for a picture, I feel slightly sick like anyone else does. But I see a picture of a woman desperately trying to get help for her dehydrated baby, and then my heart really does ache. I just can’t feel that much pity for someone who has a choice. I’ve said it in the past and I will keep to my opinion, her attitude bothers me. Because come the end of the day, she has it pretty great too. With or without Rob.
All right, having said all that I’m sure you are a lovely person and so is everyone else at this place. How do I know that? Well, for one thing you all like Robert, so how can anyone here not be awesome? :p Ok, silliness aside, are you people not aware of how bad it is out there? Come on! People are dying tearing each other apart with this whole Twilight mania! Seriously, this place is the nicest by far. Just let us not be crazy for K as some of you are and we can all live happily ever after!

I would have to respectfully disagree with you about something. Don't care where a person speaks or writes their words. I believe that people should own them. If we had to identify ourselves in someway on this internet, if our words could be traced to us for everyone who knows us, to see them, then I believe that we would express ourselves differently. Maybe we wouldn't be as honest, but I'm not so sure that spreading all of this honesty around the world is making us a better people. I believe this internet is giving people license to say things that they wouldn't say to someone's face and I think that is cowardly in nature.
And just to make this clear for everyone. Kristen Stewart does not have a choice here. She has signed a contract with Summit Entertainment. A contract that she signed in the fall of 2007 in which there was a promotions clause. There was no way nearly three years ago when she signed that contract that she could see where all of this was going to go.
If you look back on her profile in this business before she signed for Twilight, this is not an actress who sought big Hollywood fame; she didn't go after those roles in big Hollywood films. She did not lead the life of a celebrity running around misbehaving with young Hollywood. She never sought personal publicity for herself.
By contract she must go out and sell this franchise to the world. And she is doing that. And she is struggling with this gargantuan wave of fame that she never sought that is hitting her in the face. For chrissakes, the girl is barely 20 years old.
Another thing to think about.
If you think that those two are unaware of what is said on this internet, then you are very naive. They are children of the internet and it's human nature to want to know what people are saying about you. And what would you think the odds are, that Rob feels some guilt for the vitriol that is directed at her because she is with him? It's because of him, that she's having to deal with all of this negativity. If she were still with Michael Angarano, do you honestly believe that the papps and the celebrity press and the fans would be scrutinizing her life in this way?
Robert Pattinson is fueling this worldwide mania. Not Kristen Stewart and no matter who he happens to be with, that's girl who's going be the target. Remember all the negative Nikki 'talk' when it was assumed that he had been with her? But Nikki isn't with him now, is she? And there went the spotlight on her. Oh. Occasionally it shines back on her a bit. But only in relation to Rob and usually a negative. How come we don't ever hear any negativity about Ashley Greene? Because as far as we know, Ashley has never shared his bed. I've even read nasty shit about Nina Shubert. His first girlfriend. Some thought she wasn't pretty enough for him.
ALL ROADS IN THIS FANDOM LEAD TO ROBERT PATTINSON. HE IS THIS FANDOM.
And by chosing to be his lover, Kristen Stewart is having to deal with the fallout of that choice.

How do you know she isn't here reading your words? Why can't she be here? These are public blogs where women are talking in very suggestive terms about her boyfriend. If he were mine I'd be damned curious what women are saying. If you listen carefully to their interviews, they are very aware of what is being said about them on the internet. And how would they know this? They've teased each other about googling themselves and he's admitted to reading fanfic for god's sake. How many times did he mention that ONLINE petition (with 75,000 signatures) to replace him in this role? They know what's going on here. And I will stand by the opinion that it's cowardly to write something here that you wouldn't say to their faces.
And no, you aren't reading carefully enough because there is alot of negativity written about her. But those who agree with it (why doesn't she smile more? why doesn't she show more graditude? I hate her mullet. she's so awkward) you don't see that as a negative.
