this is funny but come on I get really tired of hearing the SAME story && I'm pretty sure Rob gets tired of telling it.. this story is so last year lol like please interviewers STOP asking them the same damn questions.
Nothing new but nice anyway! Funny how it's a press junket for Eclipse and the guy is still talking about Twilight! Needs a little update don't you think?
@sissidelyon ITA!! Like really?? update is an understatement he's talking about things that happened in the first movie like?? we've all heard that story a million times is he serious? lol
OK, I guess I'm the only one that caught that. Umm, he was staying with Steph (his agent) right, before he went. Uhhh, why was Robert in Steph's bedroom??? Bed-side table indeed. LOL :D
@Cheeky Chops he didnt have anywhere else to go before he went to audition for Twilight he was like dead broke and he was going to go home the following day if the audition didnt work out he was sleeping on her sofa.
He's looking MOAR relaxed in this one! Had a bit more sleep than the night before lol...I like the fact that he wears the strangest colors, like faded green, and mustard yellow and whatever the frack this color he's wearing now is? what like groundturkey pink? Amazing Rob just amazing lol...oh and I just can't get over how many versions of the Butt/hamstring/shin muscle pull we got for this story lool priceless!!
The way he looks in this video ....... the words to describe him haven't been invented.
This is my favourite type of Rob look: Dreamy eyes, soft face, soft expression, talking softly, muted colours, all his hair in the right place. Does he have ANY idea about the effect those eyes have on people? Does he just switch that smolder on? This is serious smoldering - it should come with a warning!!! All wasted on a male interviewer too - Rob must have still been all loved up from the night before or something if his eyes are still looking like this!
If I ever see screencaps of this (Kate are you there?!) they will be my fave wallpapers ever, erm, well, at least for the next month. Even the still of the second vid is too DELICIOUS for words.
OK so fatigue really does switch off the verbal filter. Quit before you're too far behind, Rob!
And Steph, we love ya, don't ride him too hard for that slip-up. The guy just can't help it. He forgets that every female whose bedroom he has ever set foot in will be put on the public's "he did her" list. Come on Rob, you are Robert Fucking Pattinson now... nobody will ever believe you just slept on a female friend's couch anymore! Better to just stay mum. And don't go rifling through your friends' meds and then tell about it, goofball. Mama Claire is gonna bust your balls for this one!
HUh--am I the only one who has let guests stay in my bedroom? (and no, not with myself) ANd my parents did that as well--gave up their bedroom for guests--come to think of it my sisters do that as well. Guess we were just raised differently, perhaps oddly. I also have let guests who were tired and jetlagged stay in my bedroom whilst I was away, or even at home but out of hearing range of the kids who they would hear if they had to sleep on the couch. But I understand, as Loisada says, the gossip will be spread about wherever he sleeps. :-(
As one who has known a few up and coming agents, they don't have a shit load of money and usually live in pretty humble digs until they hit the jackpot with a client who becomes a star. Alot of the apartments in Hollywood are in old vintage buildings or bungalows and more times than not, they're one bedrooms abodes with the bathrooms connected to them.
Also, since he sleeping on the sofa, he could have simply used her bedroom to change in. Who knows? Who cares? Truth is, if he'd had an affair with Stephanie when he first came over her and he didn't want that kind of information out, then he would not have said I stayed at her place sleeping on a sofa. He wouldn't have said anything just letting people assume he stayed in a hotel. He was trying to convey that he was at the end of his tether as far as acting went and contemplating getting out of it.
If a guy slept with a woman and he wants to keep that information secret, he then does not repeat the story PUBLICLY...I slept at her place. Kinda gets the 'ol speculation there goin' don't it? Which is what he wouldn't want. So...why mention it in the first place unless it was completely above board and innocent?
And he's too young for valium huh? Oh c'mon. He was scared shitless and it was only a half. It's not like it turned him into an addict or something. Give him a break. Alot of actors will sometimes use 'something' to get them through a particularly scary audition. He wouldn't be the first. He won't be the last.
And is he too young for the alcohol and the cigarettes? I'm sorry, but this judgement of his personal habits...it just kind of rubs me the wrong way. My family is Mormon and I am not (anymore) and I smoke and occasionally drink and recreationally use the opiates and even a little weed and I know what it is to be judged for it (not by my immediate but by my extended). I'm a law abiding, tax paying, non promiscuis, kind, generous, person and somehow...that's not enough. In more than a few circles in my very large extended family, I am the whispered about 'black sheep' because I smoke and my language can be salty and sorry. I'm going off here. What I really wanted to say was...it hurts to be judged and for me, it's not much fun watching someone else be judged too. Or what I perceive to be judgement.
But that's just me. And I know that no one here is trying to set themselves above him because he partakes of things that they do not. And I know, there's the health issues too. I do understand that.
Oh. And this interview that looks like the interview doesn't have a clue, asking him about Twilight when were not onto the third film?
This is NIGHTLINE. A very prestigious nightly NEWS show here in America. This is not a late night celebrity chat show. This is big time. This is in 60 Minutes territory. And so no, Nightline is not update on the Twilight phenomenon. But for a celebrity to be invited on to talk about a film, that doesn't happen very often on this type of show.
You watch and see, before this franchise is through, I'd bet dollars to donuts that Twilight will nab that 60 Minutes sit down and I wouldn't be surprised either to see Rob and Kristen grace the cover of either Time or Newsweek (most likely with the opening of Breaking Dawn). That's how big this thing is. And it doesn't look like it's slowing down. It seems as though with each film, it just keeps growing. Guess we'll know more in a few weeks, won't we?

Let me see, how long will it take for the hate mongers to say Rob admits to being a thief?
I can just hear it now.....keyboards clucking away...
Here is another clip from the convention, I don't think I've seen this part was published? He talks about keeping real romance alive...

Gosh he seems so tired in this interview.
He got a lot of mileage out of that shirt - he must have done a million interviews on Saturday/Sunday.

awwwww, he looks so lovely and calm here. I don't like the idea of such a young person taking valium though.
