Personally I like Rob with his wavy, tangled, untidy, DURTY hair...
Though we all know from Kristen that Rob spends a lot of time and devotion getting his hair to look just right! Oh what would I give to see Rob doing his hair maintenance routine!
Pelin - What he means is that the money he (Less) is making off of Rob's popularity & image (filthy hair, etc.) gives him the funds to send his kid to space camp.
(As Rob's "agent" he would get a percentage of Rob's income.)
est--i also didn't realize it was Tom Cruise at first and couldn't understand why the caption had his name! I am not a fan of Cruise, and I think this was his best acting yet. ;-)
I know people think I read too much into things, and maybe I do sometimes, but I wonder if this was just a random skit that Rob agreed to before knowing what was in it, or if he specifically wanted to do something like this as a parady but also as an 'F-you' to the establishment that wants to put actors on strings, like puppets, and that wants to crush their individuality especially if it goes against what would make them (the macabre puppeteers of the industry) money. Either way, I enjoyed it; just would enjoy it even more if I knew Rob consciously did this specfic short to 'stick it' to them somehow.
@ Carole At Space camp kids get to dress up in astronaut flight suits and work with simulators and other equiptment that teaches them about space and what astronauts do
I hate that Summit is using the actors this way to make even more money off of them and they don't get a percentage of the profits! I will not buy any items like these that take advantage of the talent this way!
Yeah, they showed this on the stupid show, Showbiz Tonight. Except they completely ignored Rob and talked only about Tom Cruise. They wondered if he was trying to gain a better reputation by using a younger "tween" audiance. ARGH! Girls, we need to seriously change this preconception.
@Solas, as Patti posted, Tom Cruise did this cameo as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder. He got no credit, so it was a big surprise to many. Even film critics were good about not revealing, and BTW the movie got great reviews and is very humorous IMO. So we have 2 uber famous, popular actors willing to make fun of themselves and their "image". How great is that? Speaks volumes about their egos. I'm only sorry they did it for MTV, but they are both great sports by not taking themselves seriously, especially Rob! What won't he do when asked? Such a sweetie.

Okay, what is a Brazilian Blowout? Pardon my ignorance!
Did Rob and Tom really film this together? Doesn't look that way to me, just some clever editing.
I love Rob in this, he is just so sweet and lovely!
Morning jc!
Carole - a Brazilian Blowout is a hair straightening treatment. You can google it.

i didn't realized he was Tom Cruise till someone said it on another blog, 2 days after it was shown :S
Ah, I see, thanks for the explanation!

Me too Carole, I'd pay good money for that. Better not say that too loud or Summit will be releasing hair care products and a dvd soon...
Umm, what's about the space camp?
I can't follow.
Rob's filthy hair and Less's sending his fat ass kid to the space camp??

Does that help?
angie-k SmelledThePretty!
Absolutely. Thank you =)
Yes, but what's space camp?
A camp kids like to go to, where they get to be like astronauts.

How do you get to be like an astronaut?!

Love the way Rob says(durt). This skit is hilarious.
Tom Cruise plays this character Les Grossman in the movie Tropic Thunder.
