Gossip Cop has some details about Rob's apperance on Ellen today
Everyone’s favorite vampire,Robert Pattinson, returned to “Ellen” this afternoon to tape an appearance that will air tomorrow.Gossip Cophas learned some of the visit’s highlights from a source in the studio:
*** An audience member was blindfolded and instructed to “feel up” three guys to guess which one was Pattinson. She got it wrong. (Kate: Ooooh Shame on you, you'll never live that one down!)
*** Pattinson told the host he begins shooting Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon on Thursday.
*** He jokingly told DeGeneres he got a haircut because he had “nits.” She told him that Americans call them “lice.”
*** Also in jest: Pattinson said People magazine got it wrong — he’s more beautiful than Julia Roberts
*** Will Smith gave Pattinson advice about presenting at the Oscars: “Don’t try and be funny.” Wait until you’ve done it 6 times.
Is Ellen teaching Rob how to cook?? Good luck with that one Ellen.

Well, it sounds like Ellen decided to have some fun with "our Boy" (if I may be so presumptous). He's such a damn good sport, but you know he must have been a bit nervous, especially having a stranger touching him (yikes). I agree, the hands would have been a dead giveaway, she obviously is not a ROBsesser. I wonder how long the segment with Rob is and what's this about Nikki? Is she on the show, too? Puhleeze, don't want to see her name in any way associated with Rob ever again. Whatever went down was apparently not good, bad blood ensued, and I don't want to know about or have Rob reminded of it. Just saying.
@ Kate, Kat, Gozde: BTW, re. that little R/K fan encounter that has gone viral on the internet. Are you ladies considering vetting it and thinking about posting here? Just curious. Perhaps no way to vet the truth, even if you contacted the guy. Just his word with no real proof. AND, no doubt won't make a difference to the deniers/disbelievers, the few that lurk around here. @Est-?-- It depends, it airs at different times in different parts of the US. I think it's 9AM on the east coat and I know it's 3PM, here in Chicago.

@Est, yes Ellen is on at 9:00 AM on the East Coast. I believe you're on CET in Spain (like France/Netherlands?), so that's 6 hours time difference = 3:00 PM.

@femroc, have you not got Rob's sense of humor yet? Like Kristen said, he likes to shock people, thinks it's funny. And so he does. Rob deflects with his humor and one never knows what's coming out of his mouth in response to any question at this point. He is a goofball, in the nicest way possible. Hopefully he will explain his hair is cut for his role in WFE, but I bet he doesn't. Once he says something as a joke, he usually doesn't follow up with a serious answer, I've noticed.

@Kerri, I feel like I'm hijacking this thread or like Nik here (she'll probably be on later). I have very little inside knowledge but I know Rob's family will not be there on Ellen. They were there before because it coincided with the premiere of his movie so they came to support him for that event. He's on his own doing early promotion of Eclipse, but hopefully mentioning his other projects as well. He's now based in LA to film WFE, so coming on Ellen was convenient for his schedule (same for Jimmy Kimmel show on June 23.)

I find it hard to believe that anyone who blogs here with any kind of regularity, has not yet figured out Robert Pattinson's warped sense of humour. Why it would even be questioned? I just don't understand it.
And why so many worry about what this stupid internet is going to say about his 'off the wall' comments. Anything said on this contraption is 'here today and gone tomorrow' shit. Whatever people were jawwing on about last week is gone. Whatever they're jawwing on about today, will be gone next week. Hasn't this been figured out yet? Why is it given any kind of relevance? Why does it apparently matter and I can't figure out why?
I swear to god, I want someone to explain this to me. I don't think I'm a stupid person, but something is clearly wrong with my comprehension because all of this is going straight over my head.
