Rob has a film connection with Renee Mary-Katja Harbek (born May 13, 1981), Is often Known as Renee' Diamond , Or the Heiress Of The Delta Hotel Fortune. She was in both Little Ashes and Remember Me with him and he attended her premiere of Inglorious Basterds in Cannes. Renee is also acquainted with Christina Ricci (who he filmed Bel Ami with). They grow up so fast lane...
Renee Diamond, currently based in London wi;ll alos be in Water for Elephants with Rob. Their third movie together. She has an extensive IMDB roster, but is credited on very few films she's been in. Photos are difficult to find, but she is rumored and listed as a super hottie.

@janna I know - weird, right? How odd. She's in projects with Brad Pitt (Inglorious Basterds) and Angelina Jolie (Salt) according to her IMDB profile? I know IMDB can be strange - judging from Carey Mulligan being linked there to Fincher's Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but producer Rudin says it's not true (I hope they cast Stewart for that). Why and who would make up a Wiki and IMDB profile for a fictitious person?
@angela- in this fandom I see one reason- to start rumors (false hook-up rumors I would guess). there are 10 times as many rumors as there is truth with any major celebrity, but with Rob they come from everywhere it seems

Why did he come back to LA? Well. Let's think about it.
His work was done in Vancouver, so why would he stay there? He's not due in Chicago I imagine until the evening of the 4th if they are in fact, taping his show on the 5th.
So why would he go directly there just to sit around for a few days? Where is his home base in America? Los Angeles. So with a few days on his hands and his girl in New York, where would he go? He hasn't had an In N Out Burger in over FOUR MONTHS!!! (oh my god. you poor little bastard. lol. no. I'm serious. I've gone over 4 months before and it is HELL) and I don't know if they have one in Vancouver, but I do know that they don't have one in Chicago (the furthest west they've gone is Las Vegas...I think).
I suppose he could have hung out in Van with Sam for a few days and then gone on to Chicago. Or he could have gone to New York with Kristen and then they could have flown together to Chicago (but she's gone to a girly dress up do-wop with Dakota and I'm guessing it would be best to keep da boys outta dat one). Or he could have gone directly to Chicago to possibly meet up with his family (if in fact they are coming and I imagine they might so that they can meet the legendary Oprah) and hang out with them for a few days (although he's just spent 4 months with them) or to have a few evenings to himself go hit a couple of those legendary blues clubs they have there that he's mentioned before wanting to go see (and the fact that they don't want to be photographed together publicly and she cannot legally drink yet, it appears that clubbing for him -at the moment- is an activity he has been forced into not being able to share with her) AND...
He's got a film to start shooting here in California in just about three weeks and he should be in pre-production (hair/makeup, costume fittings, rehearsals and some time spent with those animals) RIGHT NOW. But it keeps getting interrupted by Eclipse. He left London almost a week ago and that week is being spent in production of and in promotion of that film. So I would imagine that he's using these few days wisely to get in some pre-production for WFE. But that is just a guess.

@nicola6 No worries. He has a magazine shoot - his own stuff to do. Major stuff I'm sure - it's a big season approaching with promos, premieres and filming. Elephants could be a huge critical success - he'll want to focus. He'll rock it! It's super lame he can't hang out with whoever he wants and have fun (Kristen or otherwise), but imagine her trying to see to her own career and interests (in a healthy way) - it would be hard for them both to hang out publicly. The fans are unpredictable and her event may not be hers if he attended. That makes me feel sad for them - no matter what their status is. I like it when they get to spend time together. Kristen and Vogue are courting each other right now and this event is huge for her with stylists and designers she'll want working relationships with going forward. I have a feeling Rob knows this - and she does too. They impress me. Still I wish they could be carefree in their wee 20s together too.

I just saw your comment and it does sound bizarre to me.
* A rather unusual/memorable name (that no one's ever heard of)?
* Photos difficult to find? (if you're an actor, your photos are not difficult to find. your photos are how you get work AND how do they know she's a "super hottie" if there aren't many photos of her AND if she's got no screen credits, how is she identified on film AND with Rob's fame, why isn't she riding his coattails to further her own career. I mean, THREE FILMS with him?)
* An extensive film roster with very vew credits?
This isn't even good fiction (even the chick with the bogus account of the Eclipse screening was better. It was a helluva lot more ballsier at least).
I read screen credits...to the VERY END. Most of the public does not. They head out as soon as the movie is over. And why shouldn't they? They've just come to be entertained. They don't have much interest in the nuts and bolts of who actually puts the film together (although I do think some will wait for the music credits to see who sang what, but ignore all the rest until they get to them). But people who work in the industry or know people in the industry do read them. And that's because were looking for names of people we know (go watch a movie in a theatre in the Hollywood area and in certain sections of NYC. at least 3/4 of the audience will sit through the credits to the end). I've meticulously read the credits for both Little Ashes (which I've 'studied' on dvd...the film, not the credits) and Remember Me (which I saw 5 times in the theatre) AND no where do I recall such an unusual name as this one. Doesn't mean it's not there. I've just never seen it. And I think I would have noticed a name like THAT on TWO of Rob's films.
And unless she's playing a background extra with no dialouge in these films, if she has even one line, then by union rules, she must be given screen credit. And if she is an extra, the odds of her being cast in three of Rob's films, is unbelieveable.
Sounds to me as though someone is trying to create 'something' between this 'person and Rob (like he's getting her these jobs because...ooooh, he's got something 'going' with her). Obviously someone who is so devasted that they've finally had to accept that Robert Pattinson is sleeping with Kristen Stewart, that they've got to do 'something' 'anything' to try and put a fly in the ointment (like the story about him sneaking out of some starlet's apt. in NY. I suppose it's possible, if he really can move as fast as Edward Cullen because at the time, he was filming a movie in Europe).
And I seriously doubt that Rob's reason for attending the screening of Inglorius Basterds was 'just' for this person (gee. doesn't that make her sound so special to him?).
He wanted to see it because the buzz on it was, it maybe the best film of Quentin Taritino's career.

We come to the Internet for our Cheap Thrills... Janis Joplin for the under-aged masses,,,it's easier than going out, especially when we're broke and alone, it doesn't require us to shower and dress in clean clothes, or even wear clothes. We hunt around the internet like cyper vamps, we're looking for the photos that have secrets revealed: Rob and Kris, young lovers holding hands, like they really mean it; a simple shared moment that catches them in real life, so that we can believe that the Edward and Bella of our dreamscapes can be really happen, and therefore maybe happen for us too.

Doesn't this sound like those fics that people write about Rob and other woman? I love reading the fic, but I stick to Edward and Bella. Reading fiction about fictional characters? Cool. But I don't read any about Rob and Kristen (I tried one and didn't finish the first page. Just a little too voyeristic feeling for my taste). And these other fic with Rob and other women? When scrolling down the page and reading the story synopsises, it sounds like these women are writing about their OWN fantasies with him, basing the female characters on themselves, or what they wish they were. Nothing wrong with that I guess. A little weird maybe, but not creepy like the Rob and Kristen stuff. Reading fiction about real people? Not cool.
Anyway. That's what is sounds like to me.

@Nick Totally agree with you. This is my place, I always come here for news and fun with my best cyber friends. I visit Kstew411 for Kristen's news and because there are no trolls there, most of their followers love Rob and have totally accepted their relatioship which is so cool. And then two robsten sites because I am such a sucker for love stories. So I am happy on my Rob cloud and I ask for no more.

Thanks for explaining that to me. I'm really quite ignorant about the
draw of the internet for people. I'm quite the technophobe and I don't trust this technology because I don't believe that we understand the power of it yet and therefore I believe that power is being used irresponsibly and is resulting in abuse.
I use it for work (researching/writing), for e-mail, for ordering tickets for something (but I buy nothing else on the internet. have never even visited e-bay once), I store photos. I don't use Facebook to stay in touch with family and friends. I send e-mail, write actual letters and cards and I use a telephone (I want to hear their voices) and what else? Oh yeah. I write on this blog and I read E&B fan fic. I don't read anything else (stories, books) online and I don't have kindle. I like the feel of a book in my hand. I realize I was born in the wrong century. I should have been born about 1880 and died November 21, 1963. The day before our collective innocense was shattered, the day John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assasinated. That would have been 83 years, enough for any human life and I would have come of age in the twilight of the Victorian era/dawn of the Edwardian (my favorite time in history). But I'm here now and just trying to muddle through in this modern world. Very difficult thing for an old soul.
Robert Pattison is the very first (and thus far) only person I have ever talked about on the internet.
I like to say (whenever I can work it into a conversation), that Rob took my internet cherry. Isn't that cute? LOL. What is my dream? What a great question. I'm flattered you would ask.
Oh. I have many. For myself? My bucket list maybe?
* To fall in love one more time before I depart this world (Rob doesn't count as he'll never love me back).
* To finish my novel.
* To adapt my favorite book of all time into a screenplay (I have a hunch that Rob is doing the same. Adapting the same book, I mean. Just something he said).
* To see my sister's children grow from the beautiful girls they are now into beautiful women living happy, healthy, safe and responsible lives (and I'm not referring to asthetics. They're already physically beautiful)
* To get in a pie fight
* To venture back into acting and singing (that really is a dream as that ship has sadly sailed).
And I've got more, but those are just a few off the top of my head.
My dream for the world?
* Love Thy Neighbor (I figure if we could just figure out how to do that, then we would rid the world of jealousy which I believe is the root of all wrongness; envy, greed, hate, the SELF. I believe that charity is the true opposite of jealousy and is the source of all the rightness; giving to and serving others with no thought of recognition for it, just doing it because it is the right thing to do, putting the needs of others first, a weakness in this modern world that tells us, put yourself first. being SELFLESS)
My dream for Rob?
* To achieve his artistic desires
* To come through this calamity of fame with his heart and soul intact
* To find personal happiness (to choose the right mate as that is the single most important decision any of us will ever make in this lifetime and to be a good father. He could have the greatest film and music career of the first half of the 21st century, but he dishonors his wife and neglects his children, he will be a failure as a man. The most IMPORTANT things he or any of us will ever do on this earth, will take place within the walls of our own homes).
And those are some of my dreams.

As for my dreams.
My kids and parents and friends, you all included, to run happy and healthy lives.
As for myself, to be healthy, to travel more and to be always in love, because it's stimulating and makes my prodactive in all aspects.

Young women of today haven't been raised in a world where they have been taught that part of their role would be to grow up take care of husbands (the way my teenage nieces talk to their boyfriends stuns me. 'get it yourself. I'm not your slave.' that's how they see service...as servitude). These girls were raised in the time of Title IX and told...'you can have it all.' And they believe it. And they expect it. But you can't have it all. Nobody can (where would you put it?). Seriously. You can't have it all at the same time. Gotta stagger it. But these girls were raised in a world where reproductive choice was a given. They didn't have to fight for that. So much has been handed to them and they just take it for granted. To be expected I suppose.
The male/female dynamic has so seriously changed. Young women do not look after young men. And men from the dawn of time until the end of time, need looking after. I wish young women understood that. I don't mean to be their maids, but just to tend to them. But they don't. World has changed.
Just my opinion. Don't make it right.

and I think although Kristen has an 'old soul' as you said at the same time she is not an exception to the rule (ref to changing modern man/woman dynamic). I think her morals and manners (everyday life?) is just the same that typical girl in her age. I mean she doesn't look like she would care of any man in 'oldish' manner.

To the best of my knowledge, she only had one other boyfriend before Rob. And for a girl who grew up in Hollywood, in the business, that's rather remarkable. The girls in this business start having sex as young as 10-11-12. And...
Even though she and Rob had an instant attraction for one another, she didn't instantly dump her boyfriend (and no evidence that she cheated on him) so she could jump into the sack with her hot new co-star. Lemme tell you. In Hollywood when two young people are attracted to each other? They're hitting the sheets within 48 hours. Even less. Nope. She waited. Waited to see what this really was with Rob and then she ended it with Michael first.
She impresses the hell out of me. And I'm usually not too impressed by the behavior and personal standards of actors. I've seen to many of them up close.

One last thought (promise).
She may have been raised in the
90's, as was Rob. But like him, her parents are older. Their parents are about the same ages; late 50's/early 60's. Alot of kids Rob's and Kristen's ages, have parents as young as their late
30's. And also, both are very close with their parents. Alot of kids their ages, are not.

I've wondered too about Rob's sexual morals. I once heard him say that amoungst his generation, that sex was so cheep. And he said it rather ruefully. Wistfully. As though his generation had lost something.
It's just my opinion, but I do not believe that either of them are 'typical' of their generation. Not better. Just not typical. There's just something 'different', impressive about both of them.

Nik, keep coming with the thoughts, woman! With all the different points of view around here, I like reading yours. Even when you're writing your thoughts as they come to you, they seem really developed as if you'd spent time analyzing the issue at hand. And I'm not just kissing up here. There are many intelligent conversations and ideas brought up on this site and that's why I make it a point to check in at least once a day even if I don't say anything. So, ladies, keep sharing.

One doesn't have to be of an older generation, or a neanderthal, or of role-defined-by-gender to help another person, especially a loved one. There is nothing wrong with a young woman today helping out her mate with laundry, or givng hm soup when he is sick, nor is there anythng wrong with a guy doing that either. Really liberated people, and peopel who really love, will do for a loved one what needs to be done, if he cannot do it himself. And although some might say it would leave him dependent, and that he ought to develop these skills, some people's personalities simply have strengths in some areas and weaknesses in others, and part of loving someone is to accept that--especially when one has a harried life and cannot do it all himself or herself.
Thank God I switched sites for the one I was on was driving me up the wall. If I had to ead one more comment about Rob's sad face and the paps, etc. I was going to throw up. Sure, Rob was overwhelmed when the Twilight mania hit but that was two years ago. He has grown up since and I think he would not even think of giving up his notoriety now for who would not like the fame and glory and money that he did not have two years ago. He said he was always waiting for his life to change and it never did on one of his earlier interviews. So, just because the paps do not get a smiling Rob dosen't mean he is sad and fed up with the fame thing. Hell, I didn't smile all day long just because I didn't feel like doing so. Now, I have enjoyed all the comments here for it is getting back to what we like to do, discuss how sexy Rob is and how jealous we all are if he even looks at another woman, well, maybe except Kristen for they are two peas in a pod. Well, I feel much better.
