Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner Will Present A New "Eclipse" Clip At The MTV Movie Awards
From E!Online
It's official.
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be at this Sunday's MTV Movie Awards in L.A. Not only will they be showing their faces, but...
The trio will once again hit the stage together to introduce a never-before-scene from Eclipse. The three did the same for New Moon at last year's Movie Awards and MTV's Video Music Awards in September.
After the first Twilight flick swept last year's Movie Awards with wins for best movie, best female performance, breakthrough performance male, best kiss and best fight, New Moon is nominated in five award categories this year.
No word yet if any of they'll be walking the red carpet or sitting together in the audience.
Hosted by funny man Aziz Ansari, the golden popcorn trophies will be handed out during a live telecast on June 6 from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.

Oh, surprise surprise.
Oh my! I am squeeing becuase ww get to see him, hear him and see a new clip, but i'm also sorry that the Rob has to attend this show..,.ughhhhhhh...and of course I'll watch it and drool...
Seeing Rob is the only reason I would ever look at this show.
Ohhh, tots only watching for Rob and the new clip. YAY!
I wanna see 'FacePunch' (on Jacob)...go Bella!
@RPG--I'm with you!
I hate this award show, but will watch, of course, to see Rob.
Sorry to hear Taylor Lautner will be presenting with them. I know. I'm bad. I just like to focus on Rob and Kriten. I hope Rob wins every category he is nominated in just so that he knows the fans love him.
keeeeeppppp voting please....
I wanna see him on stage and know how much we love him....

clear your cookies and you can vote as many as you can...
I'm kind of cringing that they have to parade themselves out for this yet AGAIN, especially Rob. I know their big boss Summit is still calling the shots, and they're getting well paid, but still it's the ridiculous MTV Awards. I don't want Rob to win anything there, sorry. It's just fluff.
This day keeps getting worse
First I wake up to it snowing, yes I live in utah but come on snow, it is almost June for gods sake, and now I have to miss them presenting because I will be out of town this sucks big time
I take it as a way to show some love. I know is silly but I don't want him losing. I want the best perf award too, though he was not a lot in NM. I want them all for him.
It's ridiculous, but it is the main demographic for the Twilight movies. I can't help but think that these kinds of appearances just make it that much harder for Rob to drag himself out of the 'teen movie idol' category.
And I'm sure Kristen is really looking forward to it, given last year's debacle, which she apparently was seriously embarrassed about.
Don't get me wrong, of course, I'll watch it!!!
ok people i am going off the topic a little, did anyone see kristen stewart back stage at the limp bizkif aka rob zombie concert? is she a groupy i have never spoken of her but what is she doing!sex, drugs and rock and roll please people do not hate on me but i am calling it how i see it,i know rob is a big man but not because he is big make him able to take care of himself just saying ps spelling may be bad
Aww c'mon the tweens love Twi, and Rob, and who can blame them? Even if he is a bit miffed at the screaming and effusive adoration he seems to be taking it more in stride. I don't think this is holding him back at all - but I wonder what he truly thinks about it at this point. At least he knows what to expect. Wonder what he'll wear? If it's a jacket, hopefully it has longer sleeves than last year.
I also take it as a chance for fans to show the love. I'm happy they are going to be on my television, hope they sit together, hope Kristen at least looks like she likes Rob, and hope that if she wins for best kiss with Dakota she won't kiss her either, like she did not kiss Rob when they won. I'm not fond of the MTV awards, but Summit and others need to see that Rob is still a draw. I don't think it reflects negatively on his talent to be loved and admired by fans. You never know what event such as this one will lead to another role and another chance for Rob to charm the movie going audience. I like to give him every bit of support that I can.
Was it last year that Kristen dropped the award? If so, that is probably why she was embarrassed, not because she was given an award by fans of the Twilight saga.
I cannot wait to see what will they come up with this year if they win the best kiss (which is almost sure) I am such a perv.LOL
Yeah, it's a promo obligation but I'm going to enjoy the moments. Luved the one with Kristen last year. I've done that myself - fumbled, I mean - so empathized. lol
I think the mtv movie awards is the way to us to show them our support, our love. And about Rob in New Moon. Ok, he was not in the entire of the movie, but when he was, he made that amzing . So I vote for him in every category, especially the kiss. The new moon kiss moved butterflies in my belly, it was for me like the kiss in Twilight. Don't blame for it me, I vte for Rob, and want to see him get awards, and don't want to see more Eclipse clip!
...Poor Rob:-( (I know i'm going to sound like a hypocrite) but then again I'm excited to see him,I just hope they dont make stupid jokes about him &embarrass him!!! Who knows maybe they'll bring up the "vagina joke"& headlice joke"...
wooww I will watch this to see Rob
Evangeline,
maybe she just enjoys their music...and in a crowd like that she can't really be in the audiance...
Yes, Kristen had a Bella moment last year and dropped her award...
"SO ADORABLE!
Kristen Stewart won Best Female Performance and dropped the popcorn during her acceptance speech. It is such a cute moment and Rob's laughing reaction is just edible"
http://www.robsessedpattinson.com/2009/05/so-adorable.html
Rob's reaction to all the attention he got lat year was funny...I LOL a number of times - like during Jim Carrie's acceptance speech. And Rob saying he went in his pants - bwahahahaha!
who is bob saget
I am glad that he's going. He needs to be out there. It's those fans that made him so popular in the Twilight movies and with the Twilight movies... more ppl know who he is. They have Hugh, Jim, Robert D. Jr... and many others. These tween get older and they will follow him. Well the sensible ones who do realized that he's and actor and will do other roles. No disrespect to fans of TL... but, I would rather see RP... stand up and make a silly joke that watch and listen to Taylor make one of his boring/rehearsed speeches.. So I will watch just for him.
JMHO of course.
have you'll seen the photo of rob at john stamos's home seems like yesterday looks like he was drinking---milk?
do you'll think one of these days rob's trainers might fall off his feet from being over worn lol!
Whooohoo!!! I WILL WATCH TO SEE HIM!!!!!!!!
it's true rob's really going to the gym!!!!
it's true rob's really going to the gym!!!!
hi everyboy!!
new eclipse clip...we will see.
@ dina, if you're a perv, then we all are too ;)
@ hello robsessive, i'm going to answer your mail.
@acullengirl i'm sorry i couldn't read your answer yesterday. Maybe i didn't express myself correctly. I wasn't questioning the decision of not allowing under-21-people to drink, obviously, i was just wondering myself why you can't drink, but you can have an weapon/firearm (don't know the correct word) I was just pointing that incoherence out. but thanks for answering
@est-ress girl someone hacked my mail I am going to tell you my new one
@est-ress girl look at here!
@est girl tell me from here I will give you my new mail and delete it after you take ok??
@robsessive look at where???
ok, i'm here
ok, delete your comment
est sorry I am just so angry I miss you waiting for your mail hon
Nowadays only watch MTV for Rob-related stuff, such as this if he is on. It is a pity, because back in the day, they used to do videos I thnk pretty much all the time, and we go tto see and hear wonderful stuff, and also what to avoid. I kno wwe can see videos on youtube, but having them on mtv back then was like having a smorgesbord of music set out in front of us, so even groups we did not know about, or new songs or albums that we hadn't heard of, we got to hear and learn about; no need to search like today, where if you don't know about a group or something new, you can miss it. Plus, think of the opportunity for hearing someone like ROb, where he could sing/perform in that controlled setting as opposed to open mikes when he was just jamming and felt inadequate and exposed when that stuff hit youtube. Think of having a safe venue for himself and his music; his friends and their music, etc. Wouldn't that be nice?
@est hon tell me when you send it :)
Est--re drinking-- maybe because 1- the younger brain is effected more adversely with alocohol, and is not affected by having weapons? and 2-a girl can protect herself with a fire-arm but not with alcohol?
@est did you send it sister
@ solas, i understand you. But, do you really think it's good to have weapons?? i mean, you'll say you can protect you, but you need to protect yourself becasue people have weapons. Weapons increase the level of violence. You have to protect yourself because people have weapons, if people hadn't weapons, you wouldn't have to had. Here we don't have weapons i feel soooo safe becasue i know that the possibility of someone shooting at me is almost 0%, so i don't need to have a weapon. No one have them, no one needs them, (almost) no one dies because of them. the tragedy of columbine here is almost impossible.
Another thing, the principal reason of dead of poor teenagers in poor blocks is weapons, that's a shame.
Last question, do you know the concept "fear society"?? (sorry about the literal translation) gobern and mass media scare society, so people buy more things. If you have fear, they make more money. I'm absolutely sure weapon industry is a lobby, they shock people and scare them so they buy their weapons.
@ robsessive, your mail
Est; I do knwo the term. But I also have been mugged, maced, and dragged into an alley and almost raped and possibly killed, and if it weren't for a community patrol, sent like angels, with weapons at that particular time, i would not have been spared, and I would have been better off myself having a weapon and knowing how to use it. And the guy had a knife, not a gun-- are you going to say we are going to eliminate knives, scissors, boxcutters, etc in every society?
@solas, no. i understand you becasue you were a victim, so i'm really sorry for what happened to you, really. I know there can be some cases when you really need a weapon but, in general, they increase the level of violence. Look at the figures: there are more people dead at US than another countries, so is it really safe?
@solas sorry for getting into this conversation but I can understand you do you know I want to learn how to use a weapon too just to make myself safe and do you mind if I ask when did this happen to you
@est replied
robflirp-- this was not only one incident; from 76-79 I was attacked a few times. The dragged-at-knifepoint incident was may 25, 34 years ago. The mace incident (I was maced, blinded and choked and then the attackers--a group of 6 teens-attempted robbery but I had nothing so they pushed me into the street with oncoming traffic), was in that time period as well.
Est-- thnk there are many reasons for the statistics and I am not sure weapons are to blame, but the way people are raised or not raised, and other factors that add to an amoral or immoral psyche that discounts, rationalizes or even idolizes violence, gang behaviour, etc. As long as humans have the choice of choosing to use things for good or evil, for right or wrong, and as long as society excuses or rationlizes or gives positive attention to the wrong choices, there will be murders, even accidental deaths, even without guns. As i said, much damaage can be done with knives, and then of course there are little home-made pipe bombs, etc
@ solas, i agree. i understand what you say. I don't know what can happen to me, i know i can be a victim, but i'm not going to live with fear. I prefer live in this country where the possibilities of being shot are almost 0.
@ robsessive, ok i'll read it
@solas ohhh I can try to guess how you feel but I dont think it can be the same so that teens have them and pushed you into the street well you will probably want to save yourself but you should be really aware with weapons they can easily be the cause of an accident may you can try something else like those spreys well people using gun right now in here in a wedding
I really hope they do walk the carpet. That's part of the fun for us fans. But as skittish as Kristen and Rob are, I highly doubt they will. So not getting my hopes up again. Last year I had two seperate live streams set up on my laptop and desk top. LOL. Talk about a let down.
On another note, what more is there to see on Eclipse? I bet you anything they'll show the kiss scene between Bella and Jacob. I hope it's the one where she clobbers him. Hehe.
@EST as an American I do not live in fear, because I have the freedom to choose if I want to protect myself, which I have had to do when my husband was out of town and someone broke into our home, I had to do whatever it took to protect my kids. my husband myself and my children ages 14-8 have all been trained on how and when to use a firearm. It is not the weapon that kills it is the person behind it
@Solas thank god someone was brave enough to use their training to save you. I think all women should have some sort of training to protect themselves
@ robsessive your mail
acullengirl--ITA.
@ acullengirl, i understand you but i'm thinking in one possibility: if someone breaks into your house and he/she knows you can have an firearm, she/he will shoot first, to avoid the possibility of being shot by you. Here there's no possibility of shooting, so the level of violence is low (i know there are some particular cases which it's not, but in general)
You say you protect your children, and that's obvious, but people here also have children but don't have fireamrs and, do you think our children ar not safe?? I know things happen, but we don't use firearms to protect them, so they're not really necessary.
I guess we were born and educated in differentes cultures, i'm happy mine is not full of firearms.
the last thing: if the problem is the person who use the firearm, then the solution are not firearms, but the education of the people, the empathy.
@EST- If you are trained properly the intruder will never get the first shot. I did not shot the person that came in, just the fact that I had a gun pointed at them scared them off, we have an alarm system but I was not ging to sit around and wait for the police to come.
As far as your children I did not mean to sound like they were not safe because you dont have guns.
the only thing our guns have been used on is hunting and we eat the animals we shoot, just like people eat the cows or pigs or fish from the store. Not once has any of our weapons been used on a human.
@est replied hon
@ShariG, me too...I'd rather see just Robsten present as well, and if not only them, then let some of the others in the Twilight series, i.e., Ashley, Peter, Kellan, etc. present.
Not a real fan of the promos since Twilight in 2008, just bring on the movie1! :-)
@evangeline, Bob Saget was the father to the Olsen twins on the television show, Full House:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZuVvpdTu1s&feature=related
and later, himself on Entourage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hooaLxXcd_A
Now... really... I do respect all the opinions here, and usually I agree with most of them ... but now .... being concerned for his attendance at the MTV awards ...It seems to me a little bit an exaggeration...
I know this is not a "serious" prize, but it is fun and it seemed to me that all the cast enjoyed the previous editions, taking as they are: "light" moments!
Don't worry, all we know that he is a great and talented actor: MTV awards are something different but not so low. I Think. And then I do love these moments in which a lot of people can freely express their love, screaming and jumping, without getting too close or harming them. I don't like instead the hard invasion on private lives. On this I totally agree, but just because I'm not a girl anymore. When I was a teenager, and I had my idols ... I was like a feticist (i don't know if this is the right word in english, but I guess that is understandable). So I'm not so strict with young girls ... I remember well those times.
Ah ... and one last thing ... last year the best kiss award was .... so HAWT!!!! (I think that he is always so beautiful on MTV shows isn't he???) But also funny and ironic ... so I loved those "light" moments (honestly much more than the game on ellen, to be honest!!!)
So ... I think I will watch the show! (even because is one of the few showed also in Italy!)
long post , I know, and for that reason maybe with a lot of mistakes ... sorry as usual....
I didn't realise that this show is so disliked. It wasn't too bad last year if not for Sacha Baron Cohen entrance alone! Most award shows are annoying, especially if the host is a real cringe.
I'll fascinated to see Rob's speeches at the MTV awards. He seems to be have grown in confidence since MTV 2009, when he dried up and asked CH to take over. I don't think that's going to happen again. He's far ahead of Kristen now when it comes to being relaxed in front of an audience.
They say THIS Sunday and then they said June 6............which is it??
I had June 6 on my calendar for it to air.
