Rob looks so sweet with his new look...all clean-cut and all. Can't wait to watch Ellen later.
This is his THIRD appearance on her show. If she didn't care for him, he probably wouldn't have been invited back the second time.
She wasn't being snarky. But she doesn't fawn all over men the way that most women do (and the way that alot of women do and that we expect them to do over Rob) and that's because she isn't sexually attracted to them.
I know. Oh my god. There actually is one woman in the world who doesn't want to screw Rob Pattinson.
I've been watching here for years. She wasn't being snarky. If anything, maybe a little sarcastic. As sarcasim is her forte.

I love Ellen. He's been on her show three times I think. She is fantastic, so cool, so natural and has got interesting things to say and ask without trying to seduce the guy.

His new haircut accentuates his cheek bones, personally I like his hair like he had it in RM, but I understand that this new "do" is for his new movie, which given that it takes place in the 1930's only makes sense, he'd have to look a little more conservative. Rob is adorable here, and it's his shyness that makes him that way. I think a lot of actors are on the shy side, but they can hide that behind the character they're playing.
I watched this three times already! He's so f-ing cute and I love his self-deprecating British humor. He just makes me swoon. Can't wait to see the rest of the interview.

Yep, me too, Kate! I have terrible trouble forming thoughts after looking at Rob. Well, that's not entirely true - I can form plenty of thoughts - but they might get me arrested...

Haven't seen the whole segment yet, but since Ellen has had him on 3 times now, I would have thought she would have been, I dunno, softer, a little less formal friendly sounding in her questions, a bit more welcoming when he first came out. I get that she's not attracted to him and don't mean she should fawn all over him either, but I would have liked her to treat him more like an old friend or at least an acquaintance she's fond of. Maybe I'm being too picky, because I do enjoy him on her show A LOT. On another note, I wish he'd stop being so self-depracating. I know it can be endearing, but I'm sure he has thoughts in his head that he's capable of conveying in real time, esoteric as they may be.
I felt like it was a different interview than the other times he has been on the show, like she was rushing him or something, but that's Ellen, you never know what you get from her. The short hair just makes his beautiful face more pronounced. Read some of WFE, seems a demanding role for him.
@Lallieb: it's self-protection, which I understand. Much easier with short time spans for Rob to make a joke or tease. Interviews, especially tv, don't really cater for reflection.
I didn't say snarky , I said sarky , and yes! I have watched her plenty of times and I still think she was! - sarky - I know it's her way but she was more so this time.
I understand what he means about thinking and speaking in real time. Sometimes, the response or reply that I want to make comes to me after that part of the conversation has been dead for a while.
He seems to be as relaxed as usual with her. And, yes, Nik, he's probably more comfortable with sarcasm than with the fawning....of course, she may be holding over some residual offense of the "allergy" comment! LOL
