OMG! Oprah got Kstew smiling AND laughing with Rob in the room! Holy crow, that Oprah is good. Rob is so naturally gorgeous, beautiful, fresh (ok, maybe not fresh, but fresh-looking)... why do they always make him look like he could smell of moth balls in the movies. ugh!
Rob is a real tropper for doing this. I can't wait for the stories he will tell about this on the press junket. I just know they will get more and more elaborate and involved grabby twimoms. Did you see that twimom cougar with the black and white shirt say "He's SO hawt!"? Rob maybe preggers for real after all that hugging and kissing. I love that Rob!

Well I must admit, I didn't look at the video because (after last summer's nightmare of filming Remember Me) I just got out of the habit of clicking on the videos 'cause I figure they're either papp or fans AND I know that this one isn't either. It's promotion for the show. But still...I didn't click on. But I trust you guys that you say it was great. But I did look at the pics and I absolutely love the one where he's peeking around the door.
I'm guessing that there are a thousand things he'd rather do than more promotion for Twilight, but something tells me, he had some fun with this one. I mean, he actually got to go to people's homes. It was more personal than being screamed at by a mob. Okay. He was screamed at by a few. But at least it was something different.
I hope he got a kick out of it.
Ok... Upon seeing these and adding up the total amount of squee on Rob's face throughout what had to have been a crazy experience, I am convinced that Rob prepared for this the same way I would have... with copious amounts of beer. I recognize a beer induced squee on Rob's face even from outer space. I am so proud of him.
Ooooh. I am so close to clicking onto this one. That smile on his face where he's got those little girls in his arms, is priceless. He looks adorable and...I don't know, that he's having fun with it. So much of this is so hard for him, that it's nice to see an instance when it can be fun for him.

But I'm still at pissed at Oprah for asking the question. I know were not suppose to say anything against Saint Oprah, but how can she ask questions like this of her guests when so much of her own life is held up to such scrutiny? How does she justify it?
And even though I was being snarky there, I do think she is an amazing person with all that she has given back to the world. I do admire her for it.
I can't wait to see this on Thursday!!! It is going to be so good! If Rob showed up at my door---I'd pass out.....Those people will never forget this! HOW LUCKY!!
All I can say is I am still completely jealous and Rob is a trooper. What an amazing experience for those girls.

You know - he could "have" any woman he wanted in the world........but then he'd have to deal with the stories that would leak about it or the pix that strangers might take. He's almost a prisoner of his own fame - no wonder he just wants to be with Kristen, she understands the same problems he is going through.

He's not 'almost' a prisoner of his own fame. He IS a prisoner of it. And yeah, if he weren't with Kristen, then picking up girls would be a real problem for him for the reasons you gave.
If he were to meet a pretty waitress or pass a pretty girl on the street that turned his head, could you imagine? He'd take her home and she'd be all over twaddle the next day looking for her 15 minutes in wanting to tell the whole world that she'd just bedded Robert Pattinson.
Remember that Erica girl he met last year at Cannes? He was simply photographed with the girl and the media made it out that he slept with her that night. I even remember seeing her face on magazine and tabloid covers and she's even been counted as one of his conquests. Right.
He'd finally gotten together with Kristen just a few months earlier. Hadn't been seperated from her until this trip to France, was meeting up with her again in Italy in just a couple of days to finish filming New Moon and he's gonna hop in the hay the minute he's away from her with a stranger he met in papparazzi heaven.
I don't know. If he hadn't gotten together with Kristen, I don't know who the hell he would be able to trust enough to sleep with. His 'girl' friends (those he knows and trusts) would have to take pity on him now and again and give him 'some.' LOL!

Rob looks gorgeous on the show and pout is back!!! It must be weird for him to allow himself to be stormed like that. I watched it slowly, he's a good actor, there was definitely some well disguised terror under all that! I hope they had a good chat with him intead of just hyperventilating - that's what would make it memorable for him.
My heart is beating like crazy. I'm such an idiot, I can't even handle a fucking preview of Oprah.

Just a pet peeve of mine, but why did Rob walk out on stage before Kristen? It's ladies before gentlemen and I would say this even if Kristen was Jane Doe. It's just the polite thing to do!
I don`t think that the reactions we see are in response to the questions we hear .. the video is prelucrated and probably doesn`t have anything to do one with another.. it`s funny trough to see the combination.. we shall see the result on 13 may
I hate Oprah with a fiery passion, but I so can't wait to suffer through this program. Rob actually looks comfortable, relaxed. Kristen also looks pretty comfy next to our boy, which always makes me happy. Sweet.
@Jmm, I share your pet peeve. He does it all the time. Impacts his cred as a true "gentleman." Mum and sisters need to retrain him. Think because he is the baby and only boy, and cute as hell, he got a pass on this.
I could be wrong but I see it more as a protective gesture. Kristen is seemingly more comfortable with either Rob or Taylor going out first in these type of interview setups. I've noticed many an interview where Rob clearly waits for her to go ahead and she doesn't.
I've also got some issues with how Oprah interviews but I will watch and DVR the show.

Hi ladies... I'm glad to see a few other comments here about Rob's walking out in front of Kristen. Whoever was working back stage lined them up for this,,, but it really looks wrong to me too. Kristen/as Bella, is the star of the Twilight movies,,, yeah, I know we all want our beautiful vampire to be the star, and he does share that spotlight, but as Edward said in Twilight, "ladies first" so seeing him stride out waving in front of the rest of the cast didn't sit well with me. He looks more manly here, than ever, and also quite comfortablle with the setting, especially so surrounded by those he knows best.
I know, I know, before you all pounce on me, we can never see enough of The Robert, we think he should be first in all things, and all the other people on stage are just crowding distractions pulling the camera off of Him,,,, but still, the balance is off. He is definitely the most popular star on stage there, but he's not the only one. Hopefully, in upcoming interviews the show producers will have the foresight to change this.... and he should too, allowing Kristen and the others their rightful places.
He'll steal the stage back from them in an instant anyway.
I still think it has more to do with Kristen's comfort level. For example when the three were on Jimmy Kimmel, Kristen went on first followed by Rob and Taylor.
I do like a lady going out first followed by the gent but I also love it when and if a lady feels a bit overwhelmed, a true gentleman is able to take the lead. :)
Well honestly it makes me cringe to see Rob going out on stage before a woman. I felt this way also when he walked out before Emilie de Ravin on the View. That's probably the only thing I don't like about Rob. Call me old fashioned but my husband would never do that.
That great picture where he has his lips turned in a smirk. On another Rob site, they placed his picture when he was a tow headed child on his trike beside this picture on Oprah. Same smirk. The picture is priceless.
I think Kristen wants Rob to go out first for she is more nervous. I am sure he knows how to treat a lady with respect and manners.

@Jane, I think Belladonna might be correct that behind the scenes they lined them up, but if so, kind of ignorant. On Jimmy Kimmel all 3 were lined up and Rob did not come out first (as I recall), Kristen was first. Yet on The View he came out before Emilie and it seemed rather awkward and don't seriously think they were lined up as it was only the two of them. Look this is a small point, and minor criticism of our boy, but just something for him to think about, like he doesn't have enough already. Counting the hours to Oprah.
I personally think he was raised well enough where if it was his choice, he would not walk out ahead of a lady or girl. I think it was set up a certain way.
i also think it has to do with kristens comfort level, i remember at the teen choice awards when just the 2 of them went up he waited for her and let her go first. he tried to do the same thing when they all went up there (he made her go up the stairs first) but as soon as she got on stage she literally put her hands up and stepped to the side when they tried to give her the award and made rob go first to get it.
Rob is a real gentleman , watch a couple of youtube vids - i.e. teen choice awards , Rob gets up first as he is sat on the end of the row , he clearly steps back near the stage to let Kris go in front of him but she bails and pushes him forward!!! let's get it clear Kris certainly doesn't want to hog the camera , she seems to not want to go out at all!!
