I love the black eyes! It looks like they CGI'd them darker, and that's a very good thing...those very light eyes are not my favorite.
They got his eyes right in Twilight, IMO they lightened them way too much in NM and the promos for Eclipse.
Why can't the makeup people see that it's way off...he's so beautiful, and they make him look alien. In the books, he was model beautiful..in the movies, not so much. Golden eyes are one thing, but yellow eyes are distracting.
Thank God, he's just so amazingly beautiful it overrides the makeup.

I couldn't agree more with all of your comments - - I've made similar comments elsewhere. The eyes in Twilight were spot on - they were beautiful. Alice's eyes were the WORST in NM - so yellow they looked like they were protruding. It was all quite understated in Twilight in every respect and that's why it remains my favourite - if there wasn't so much hype it would be an Indie Classic. I've also noticed in NM that the lenses made the rest of Robs eyes look dull too.
The directors really need to pay attention to detail as very little time actually passes in all the films - it's only about a year - they can't mess with the the looks too much.
While Rob always looks good as Edward, I'm loving his look in Eclipse so far, the messy hair and the clothes a 17 yr old would wear.
Loved NM but the clothes were too old looking for Edward.I know I study him way too much can't help looking at him.lol
totally-robbed the director was only about taylor so lets just forget it and move on,so will say helooks good and some will say he looks bad sorry but you cannot please the whole world at the same time,whether rob eyes or what ever you people object to rob is still making millions so personally i will not care on way or the other i totally loves rob and that's it

I agree that his eyes were the right shade in Twilight-they were just right and smexy. A little orange thrown in there. Topaz like amber. But Im glad they got Edward lookin "touchable" again. Messy hair always looks good on Edward. What I LOOOOOVE is Edwards rage and "in yo face" to Jake. Great acting. He was SHAKING!! woo hoo! its refreshing to see that instead of mopey/tortured Edward. Cant wait to see Rob throw down :)

I'm missing something because you've mentioned Taylor and the director - what's the Taylor connection - was that something on a related thread?
I don't love Rob any less just because I think the make up artist overdid some makeup in NM. I hope that hasn't upset you because it shouldn't, it's just an opinion. There've been quite a lot of comments about the makeup on the threads and everyone will have different opinions - you have strong opinions yourself - that's a good thing.

Oh I see .... no probs. I don't retain too much info about Taylor in interviews unless he's interacting with Rob - but I like the way they both get on. Taylor's lucky not having to wear make though.
What part of the world are you in Evangeline? I get the impression most here are in the US.
I loving the possessive black eyes, and yep, he looks hot all angry and in your face. As for this scene in the movie, I'm kinda glad they made it more confrontational than the book; I mean, I know Edward is mature and would do anything for Bella, but c'mon, some other guy just kissed your woman and you're thinking "I won't hurt you because it would hurt Bella"??!!! That part of the story left me with a WTF expression. Bella was all for hurting the dog, but EDWARD held back? I couldn't quite suspend disbelief enough for that one.
Kember, I don't think it was controlling of you to space your kids that much apart, it was pure genius...I wish I thought of waiting til the oldest was in school before going on to #2. I would've had a little bit more sleep (not much, but every freaking minute counts) and been it little bit more organized (no purses in the fridge and no keys in the car seat..with the door locked...with the kids inside...waving.)
As for your humor, like Rob, you can be misunderstood.
I loved the eyes in Twilight, the NM ones were a little too feline...and yes, for God's sake, can they not get the makeup right?

I agree with you on the "mentoring" of KS (not on the acting side). I wouldn't wish on her to be like one those great actresses who are difficult to deal with now or in the future.
I've learned to like her because of Rob. I'm sure a lot of ladies in this blog had also done the same.
That's all I've got to say. LOL
I don't think Kristen's unfortunate use of foul language means she would be difficult to work with. I don't think one has to do with the other. I can't remember any interviews where Christina Ricci, Gwyneth Paltrow, etc. were using bad language. Personally I like Kristen except when she uses the foul language. Then I cringe.

When we were growing up, my grandfather swears a lot with his booming voice. A sentence of his wouldn't be finished without the F* or any swear word but fortunately, me and my siblings, we didn't pick up the habit. I can swear if I need to but it's not part of my daily vocabulary, thanks G-d for that!! Remember what my Mother used to tell us kids, "If you know it's bad, then don't do it". So there's still hope for her.

@Tedgirl, thread may be dead, but thanks. No, I definitely did not mean K needs mentoring with her acting. Quite a few directors were interviewed for Elle and none gave the impression that she is difficult, but all mentioned how seriously she takes on her character, even worrying about the emotional depth she goes to get it right (CW). Mentoring on how to deal with her public persona and speaking in interviews, but also how to deal with the tsunami of attention and fame she has landed in, is what she needs. Keep your comments coming :))

I too love the black eyes! I think NM missed that part. Like when Edward was about to step out in the sunlight....he should have had black eyes...yes...Alices eyes were the worst! Then again, maybe I just dont like Ashley G. her voice bugs me...
