I've left a note over on my blog explaining why I can't answer my e-mail from here anymore. For those of who have written to me, I'm so sorry I can't answer you.
@Nik: sorry to hear you've had a problem with email. I don't email 'off-site' as I had a previous bad experience elsewhere. I didn't know you had a blog either. Woefully behind the times...:)
Pierce is so right about 'access' these days with all forms of communication...
I've never blogged over there. I've always come here to express my opinions and maybe that was a mistake. I expressed some here the other night and someone sent viruses to that e-mail.
Can't type - I meant don't 'stop' expressing your opinions here, of course. Just the thought of that kind of intimidation working is anathema. I find it incredible that someone would spend the effort doing such a thing. They seriously need a life...
Well. This is what I'm assuming. The night I posted those opinions, everything was fine. Next morning (yesterday) I went to open that e-mail (yes, it's g-mail) and my comp would not let me, saying that it had been infested with viruses. And now the whole system is crawling slower than a snail's ass.
So...I've never had viruses in any e-mail count before and that particular one, I only use for correspondence on this blog. Maybe it's a coincidence, but my gut says...no.
I dunno. I'd much prefer a punch to the face than a sucker punch behind my back. Yanno?
@AP...The opinions I posted were quite strong about a VERY hot button issue around here. Perhaps, the hottest buttonest issue there is in the Kingdom of Twilight (three quesses).
I just got sick of all the speculation and conspiracy talk and just wanted to put my thoughts out there. I'd mentioned on here that I was gonna get around to doing just that, but then I never did. Then I got 20 e-mails asking me to. So rather that write out 20 e-mails, I came to the blog and answered. (Yeah, I know there's a thing called group e-mail, but I don't know how to do it). And apparently, someone did not like what I had to say. Why they couldn't have just flamed my ass here -in public- I do not know. The MO of the coward, I suppose.
Anyway. Live and learn.
And to put the thread back on track...
Yes Mr. Brosnan... This young man is the epitome of grace under fire. See what happens when your mama and your papa raise you right? When you've been loved every moment of your life? You turn out.
@Nik I'm sorry to hear your mail was infected and I do hope that it was just a coincidence. Personally I'm always waiting for your smart (and crazy)) comments and I would be very upset if you'd decided to stop expressing your point of view (btw it always seems credible)
I've got great virus protection (need it for work), which is why it stopped me before I opened it. Still, the whole comp is crawling. Timing is good though. Getting a new comp next weekend.
As for the wary part...yeah, I am. This felt like a violation and very personal. I took the day off from the blog yesterday ('cause I was a little shook), and even hesitated before posting today. But then I thought, whoever you are, you ain't gonna run me off. Only Goz and Kate and Kat can do that. Or...all of you.
Oh crap. OT again.
Yes Mr. Brosnan... He is the most graceful (in manner that is) Well. Okay. He's the most graceful wonkey legged doofus I've ever encountered. Grace, class, style (no one can wear plaid, a beanie and three day stubble like that boy), and well...you know Mr. Brosnan. This young un's got it all.
Thank you so much. That was very sweet. Nah, I'm not going anywhere. This place is just too much fun. And I really come here for all of you. Not Rob. I can go anywhere on the net and get info and pics about him (although no one does it better than Goz and Kate and Kat)
Before I joined up here (the first and only -and I'm guessing, last- celeb blog I'll ever participate on) I looked around ALOT. And this was the best site. Without question. Just glad that I've been accepted and allowed to play along.
Oh crap. Crap. Crap. Crap (I keep derailing this thread with my personal...crap).
@Nik: Well, could be malware but you sound covered and a new computer will 'fix' it anyway. Yeah, I think I can guess the issue....I reiterate, if anyone was reacting that strongly they need to step away from the computer and engage in that thing called 'life,' which I'll have to do in a sec.
Back to Rob, kinda, who got a shitload of negative mail/press early on, and it hasn't all stopped, but he persevered/s. Hope you will do the same...:)
Nik you're welcome!) The truth is that most of the time I'm just lurking here and there, reading and observing but I have to admit that here is the best place to adore MrPrretty and have fun and meet people from everywhere with whom you can share your biggest obsession *wink *wink (how cool is it? Duh!)
@ nik - so sorry to hear about the virus infestation. I love to read what you write. Loved the last few days. You have such a delightful sense of humor, as many of the NB's here do. Please don't even consider leaving or not contributing. You add a lovely dimension that is appreciated. You set the bar higher for us.
@ Who Whants to Spark Forever - ditto to your comments.
Pierce has always spoken so kindly about Rob in every interview where Rob is brought up. When someone has achieved the same stature as he has, he just gets better by sharing good comments that encourage. He, like you, nik, sets the bar higher.
The money from donations will be used towards purchases for the blog. Not a single dime will go into our pockets :) Help us bring you better content/pictures by donating. Every little bit helps!

THAT is the word that has always come to mind when I think of how Rob has handled all of this...
Grace.
P.S.
OT (real quick)

FILTM!
Barbara...
It's late and I doubt you'll see this but just in case...
Thank you so much. That was one of the lovliest things anyone has ever said to me here. I'm just sitting here feeling rather humbled.
Thank you. Thank you so much.
