As we had previously reported to you (HERE last month), Summit Entertainment has plans to bring the 2010 film "Remember Me" starring Robert Pattinson (of “Twilight” film fame), Emilie de Ravin (of TV’s “LOST” fame), Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan to Blu-ray Disc on June 22nd. The title is available for Pre Order over at Amazon with a $31.49 price tag. The tech specs have yet to be officially announced but they have now outlined the bonus materials set to be included which are listed below.

Hey, all! So I was catching up with all the weekend posts, since I don't get to surf then, and BAM! I catch sight of the pics with the Japanese article. Man, they have good taste over there! I think my heart has returned to normal, but it's difficult to tell, because every time I remember them it speeds up again.
BluRay DVD? So us mere mortals with ordinary dvd players won't get the extras? Hmmm. How many BluRay players sold versus the others? Marketing department missing a trick here? Or is it just me?

FINALLY - another Rob commentary. I was severely disappointed that Rob was not on the NM commentary. I will DEFINITELY be looking forward to the RM dvd now!

I will bet you Scummit will NOT put the deleted sex scenes on the DVD. They need to protect their cash cow couple Edward and Bella who they will be promoting a week later. Hello! They did everything they could to sabottage Remember ME. It wasn't enough they screwed with the script and changed the R-rating to PG-13. They then proceeded to do the worst marketing job I've ever seen.

If this new release for RM isn't panting worthy (and panty-wetting-worthy), we probably won't be getting our release from BD either. Perhaps there will be another challenge to us to make one of our own worthy of our oohs and ahs and it can be shown daily in the RRoP.

Right RPG - I hope the love scenes are shown in wider shots......they tightened them so much they were almost G rated.
Would love to see some bloopers. I read somewhere that they had to overdub ALL of the audio of any outdoor scene in the movie cause the sound of cameras clicking could be heard in every shot from the papz.........Summit should send the bill for all that extra time and work to In Touch, SUn and all those other CRAP rags.

I guess I'll have to buy a BluRay now... Darn it, been a fan is getting quite expensive :). But what can you do and I am so looking forward to hearing his comments. Well LoTRs came out on BluRay last week, this really gives me a excuse to get it now.
On another topic, I was looking at the list of movies over on BoxOffice Mojo Website and (procrastating on my day off). Some of the movies make far less money than what there budgets, even the over 100 mil haven't make much more that there budget. So when I read that RM didn't do well... or a success, what are they talking about? Nicola6... or anyone... Do you know the extact budget of this movie...16 ml was the cost of making the movie... does that includes ads etras too or is there more money involve in advertising the movie too etc, etc? I am really curoius... Jeez!!! I must reallylove RP to be this interesting in budgets / profits and success of his movie... I am not talking about the Saga because that is a love story with a happy ending and the books were popular worldwide before the movie anyway.

While I love that there is commentary with Robert, that alone makes it worth buying. But I also would love for there to be extended scenes and deleted scenes and bloopers. And also an alternate happy ending.

Monique, Remember Me is a box office success. Nobody needs to tell you anything, all you need to do is look at the numbers. It has made more than double its production costs, and that's talking about its numbers from last week which was posted here-it was at 45+ million- so I don't know how much the number has increased this week. But regardless, this movie was/is a success.
Thank you AngelWing... I know the B/O is a success. No other actor would get the #'s he go for a movie that isn't fluff and drama with a sad ending.
