WOW, Rob sounds just like I imagine him to be, quiet and reserved, but very talented. Still waters run deep. I think that is so sexy.
He seems really nice, good looking too, had some nice things to say about Robert, although we already knew these things.....
Poor guy, just another actor spending most of his interview having to talk about Rob. And not only do they waste his time, but they waste it on a really stupid rumor. It's like any time someone interviews one of the Twilight people, they lose all their interview skills & the only 2 words they can remember are Robert Pattinson.

And that's because Robert Pattinson is arguably, the biggest star in the world and it's his name that's going to get attention and not Alex's. If Rob were not mentioned in this interview, would it even be on the internet except maybe on an Alex site?
He's still pretty much an unknown actor and while he might resent it to some degree, he also knows that by talking about Rob, it's going to bring attention to this interview and thus...to him.

Aside from stressing it was the first he'd heard, I don't think Alex seemed resentful at all - thought he handled the inevitable 'what do you think of the Rob rumours' just fine. Glad to hear Alex has another gig, too. Being in the Saga certainly is a career boost...

It is interesting to see how Twilight and Rob have sparked careers that might have gone unnoticed otherwise.
I do wish interviewers would be more intersting with their questions, although perhaps this type of question helps debunk stuff from a view closer to the source.

Well I liked the part when Alex talks about Robert and how quiet and laid back he is. I'm also glad that the talented portion of the Twilight cast are getting movies, Anna and now Alex. I always thought he was the only one who was well cast in the wolf pack. Of course I don't mention Robert because I don't consider him part of the cast, he is head and shoulders over the other two leads in Twilight, and the rest of the cast.
The only thing that irked me in this interview is the Cobain question. I hope that now that it is completely and fully debunked as a false rumor, that Robert's name will NOT be mentioned in connotation with this movie anymore. I don't like that they used Robert's name to get attention to it.
And about his rumored hookup (I really dislike this word lol), well I don't doubt that it is false, just like all the other rumors about Robert.
And at this point, I don't see Robert in any serious relationship with anyone, because of his rigoreous filming/work schedule.
But on the other hand, it really makes me laugh when people assume that they know what type of girl Robert would go for. I personally think that Robert would go for a sweet, genuine, feminine, semi-articulate, smile-y girl who laughs with him. And hopefully someday he'll meet that special someone, that he can call "soulmate". But that is my opinion, and I don't state it as fact. I hope that others will remember that too, when stating their opinions lol.
But you yourself are assuming what type of girl Rob goes for. I don't assume anything, except based on the overwhelming evidence at this time he's dating Kristen Stewart.
jmm, I posted my opinion as just that, an opinion. I DIDN'T state it as if I know for a FACT what Robert would go for. It was just a fun assumption on my part, I was trying to make a point as well.
The point I was trying to make, is that stating an opinion is fine as long as it is posted as such, just an opinion. No opinion should be posted as FACT, and that's what I was trying to point out in my post *grins*.
I always saw Rob as an introvert- quiet, soft-spoken well-read man. The hat and unshaven look works for Alex. He is very handsome...maybe I shouldn"t mention this, but there is something very effeminate about Alex. Not trying to be mean, but my radar went up.
Angel, I didn't mean to offend you. I was just pointing out that you said it makes you laugh when people make an assumption about what type of girl Robert goes for, and then you went ahead and made your own "fun assumption" as well! It's kinda like the pot calling the kettle black.
@Spunky's: Alex is quite graceful when he moves because he is a dancer. He's also happily married and has recently become a dad.
