Well I don't think that he wants to relate this movie to Twilight in any way. He just said so in the Access Hollywood interview that he hopes this movie will not be "eclipsed" by Twilight. So for her to go to the premiere and do the red carpet it would be wrong. Even though she's not going to attend the premiere I'm convinced that his friends and her will go to an after party to celebrate with him. She's definitely there to support him.

I don't think it is just Twilight fans who scream when they see him. He is just incredibly gorgeous and sexy and he turns on that killer smile. I think I might involuntarily scream even if I didn't love him as Edward. He never disses the Twilight franchise or the Twilight fans. I love that about him. If it weren't for those films he would not yet be so well known, although there is no doubt in my mind he would have found his way to the for front of the film industry eventually anyway because he is that good and that beautiful.

Oh, finally got to actually hear the interview and see him. You are all right. He does look relaxed and happy. I hope the premier tonight is fantastic, the reviews are fantastic, and that he has the time of his life. The 12th seems like a long way away now. In terms of spoilers, as soon as the film is actually out there it is going to be almost impossible not to know the story. I'm also one of those who is not bothered by knowing ahead, but understand those who want to be Remember Me virgins. Loved the interview. I think Matt Lauer actually really likes Robert. He just charms everyone with his natural and very genuine style.

I would just like to say that there is a spoiler. Kind off. But knowing the end, I don't think it really gives it away unless you have a fantastic imagination... This movie probably has one of the "best" twists we've seen in a movie for a long time...

Robine- Matt knows about the Remember Me Saturdays which was a thing some fans put together to help boost RM. You know to have everyone go and see it as much as you can so that it will bring in a huge box office that weekend it opens. And afterward too.
I only heard about it when that twitter mess happened over the Eclipse stills being leaked. But as a fan I already knew we needed to help Rob make RM a huge success. HW is looking at this film and judging Rob on how well it does.

Bana- Nope, Rob got into NY Friday night. His clothing was black. During the Saturday or Sunday interviews he had on gray and black.

@Annie thanks dear! don't get me started. I fell in love with him as soon as I read Twilight for the first time after my 12-year-old daughter pushed it on me...I remember googling Twilight and how hard it was to find pictures and how no one had ever heard of him. Those were the days.

BTW yesterday took my kids to see the travelling Harry Potter exhibit. Wasn't even thinking about the fact that Rob's costumes would be there too...until I was standing in front of the black-tie dress robes he wore in the Yule Ball scene...luckily by that point my kids were scattered so I could just stand and drool and pretend he was in the clothes. Tall. Broad shoulders. And yes, big feet :)

@ wens--yes, the ball costume had very nice black dress shoes. Then his everyday clothes were nearby...merino sweater, collared shirt, tie, so YUMMY...something about a wool sweater and a man's chest...
and the shoes were these sort of Merrell things and a bit hidden by the pants, the way the costume was displayed. Toomuch: *looks around furtively. Leans over barrier down to ground. Tries to assess length of shoes. Looks up again before her kids can catch her*
