I love though how he refuses to diss Twilight--not because I love Twilight but because it shows yet again how mature he is. He is absolutely right that it has opened massive doors for him. He is so smart and is building his career in a very astute way.

Robine- You're welcome. And your right, those clips aren't giving anything away. I've read the script and know the plot twist.
It's going to be so good that you will definitely want to see it over and over again. From reading the script I can tell you that it's damn good. The plot twist is amazing and knowing it won't stop me from viewing the movie. It will still get to me regardless. And If you saw the reviews that were tweeted yesterday everyone is in love with this film and Rob's performance.

@Gwen: Well, I think it is an acknowledgment that Rob is in the status of actors who can now greenlight a film if attached. He is careful to attribute that to the Twilight franchise, but it certainly generates more respect throughtout the biz. There is also very good buzz for him about RM, and some will see why tonight. :)
@toomuchp: yes, he stands by his choices, and he wouldn't have done Twilight unless he liked the role as he thinks a lot - maybe too much - lol - before choosing. He's also honest about the amount of..um..sexual material involved, and sharing the deets... ;)

I just love this man's interviews! I agree with the poster who said "He is a breath of fresh air in a contrived business", I couldn't agree more.
He is the only one amongst the Twilight main three cast who stands out and shows great talent, and I see a great future ahead of him.
And I'm glad that he's really starting to break out with seemingly great roles, so far. I hope he continues to pick great/appealing romantic/character driven roles.
But Robert please say NO to two BD movies! Or they can make two movies, but Robert should only agree to be in the first one, the second one Edward is barely a presence in it, since the author herself ruined Edward's character, and with this screen writer I am sure it will be a Taycob and Kristen's Bella fest (meh, dull and disappointing).
And can someone please PLEASE ask him about "Water for Elephants" I am so looking forward to that! I read the book because I heard he would be starring in it, and I found the book to be good, so I just know that with him in it the movie has great potential to be absolutely great. I love the Jacob/Marlena relationship. Marlena is so sweet and shy, and Jacob is sweet but strong...please somebody ask him about "Water for Elephants"!
And "Remember Me" looks great so far! Woooo

I haven´t read all the comments, sorry if I say something you already have discussed, but GOD how annoying when the interviewer doesn´t have his facts straight! doesn´t he have researchers or read their work before he goes into an interview? saying eclipse and new moon was filmed at the same time, uum no?, and then what will you do when the third is done, will you ever do vampires again? eeh, the 4th book, BD, that everyone is talking about, helloo?
what a lousy interview, rob being so sweet and kind is the only thing that saved this.

I don't check the tweets much but I'm so happy this movie and Rob are getting already great reviews; I want a miracle lol; I want this movie to be nearly as successful as Twilight; small budget but huge success.
