We expect to spark fan frenzy today as we’ve just confirmed the next actor to be admitted into our attraction is the hottest celebrity of the moment, Brit born A-lister and star of the phenomenally successful Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson. The wax figure of the British heartthrob will be revealed in March, ahead of the release of his latest film, Remember Me, in early April.
The studios team are busy recreating R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and messy hair, whilst the figure’s outfit will reflect his rugged style with an open collared shirt and skinny trousers. The figure making process takes four months of intense work to complete at a cost of £150,000.
“Robert Pattinson is one of the hottest celebrities in the world and we have been inundated by requests to make him at Madame Tussauds London,” commented Liz Edwards, our PR Manager. “We are delighted that we’ll be able to give fans the chance to to meet their idol and pose for pictures with him. They can even give him a kiss on the cheek which I’m sure will be a big hit with his female followers!”
Fans can cosy up with Pattinson in his own special VIP area in the exclusive A-list party area. The actor will be in good company as he joins a host of other top celebrities from screen superstars including Jonny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, to fashion icons like Kate Moss.

Hmmm, ok. Cool I guess. Wax figures creep me out. LOL. Anyone watching the view????
Haystack, yes I watched The View. Not sure why they had Emilie there. They really wanted to talk to Rob. LOL
The wax figure is weird but flattering, I guess.
Yeah, I don't know...
i'm with haystack--wax figures ar kind of creepy.
just watched the view--he is so sweet, handled the details question well--but they hardly talked about RM--too much Twi
I think they're gonna have a hard time trying to print Rob's charm on a statue. I mean, Rob is a God's masterpiece, no man's work could ever get close to God's art. ;)
Baby in the house of wax! I can imagine his face when he found out about that! It was probably the "What?" face! LOOL!
creepy statues...
I dont think it looks at all like him--esp the eyes, cheeks and his mouth is too full. *shoves amateur aside*
"look at the LOWER LIP, it sticks out and is thinner when he pouts. He has a crease right here-his eyebrows are NOT that perfect.." tsk tsk...
I went to the M T's in Vegas and Tupacs was exquisite. Looked REAL even in a photograph. Elvis was creepy cool-SOme didnt have any likeness at all, they should REALLY show the people that know the star best and ask them if it looks like them,it pisses me off actually .You want to get it RIGHT to show respect. Whoever did Pacs should do RObs.
Having been to Madam Tussauads' a few times, I have to say that not many of the figures actually look like the person being portrayed, let's hope they get it right with Rob, although whatever the waxwork looks like, it will probably be worn out in about 6 months as every woman to goes there will want to kiss him, that does include me, as it is the nearest we will ever get to the great man.
I was waiting for this ;D
the jaw, that's just not enough. it should be more jawporn... hehhehe
I don't think this looks like Rob at this point, maybe when it is finished, but the whole look is off to me.
Fab! My next trip to London will definitely include a trip t Mdame Tussauds now. A pic with me n wax Rob will need to replace my pic with me n wax Jack Sparrow on my desk at work...
I knew it. When I was there November I put it down in writting that he and KS were the ones we would like to see most.WoW that was quick. Those brits are amazing.
Watch, somebody is going to break in and steal Rob's wax figure. LOL
I bet they'll make a sex tape of them with the figure. LMAO
The wax figure of Brad Pitt has a squeezable butt (no, really). I wonder what they'll give Rob? :-)
Doesn't look like him, esp. the eyes, but I could go on. Just doesn't work.
Must say, it surprised me that they'd do it so soon; the idea wasn't on my radar.
Yeah, Alessandra, why try to do God's masterpiece?
I appreciate the craftsmanship, but... Creeeeeeeeeeeeeepy!!!!
@ Alessandra: what you said! You don't mess with God's Masterpiece!
