Hey, Staceybuckleyuk! I went to Leicester Square on Wednesday as well, but got there so late I almost missed everything. Could see damn all, but oh boy, the atmosphere was amazing.
I dread to think what size the Eclipse premiere will be but I'm up for a group outing, if anyone else is, now I've broken yet another duck!

Which DVD are these from? And yes CW...any time you leave out Edward it is a mistake...but the MR dialogue in the corridor also sounds like a mistake.
after seeing that bedroom scene-that was beatiful. CW should have left that extended scene in. I loved the hug in the end. That was a hell of alot better than the one that showed up in the movie. It looked akward as hell, Considering the circumstances I would have CLUNG to him. Especially since Jake is her best friend. Laurents acting was awesome-I got chills :)

RobsessiveRobsbondgirl: I would have camped out like Stacey if I'd not had work to go to, Sweetie. As soon as I was given the get-go I was out of there and on my way. I just couldn't get there soon enough, but at least I can say I was there.
I thought the bedroom scene was still a bit stilted but I liked Jake's expression when he took in the dreamcatcher better.
And who in their right mind cuts Edward off in mid flow when the people who watch the extras are fans? Sense?

On the buried spoiler thread of Remember Me--still active if anyone cares to go there--Violet said that where she lives RM has already been pulled from the theatres!!
She was planning on going again, only to realize it was gone.
Don't they give a film more of a fighting chance than that??
What can we do, I wonder, to change that, so that the film stays long enough for all the word-of-mouth to take hold and make box office difference??
Anybody have any ideas?
At any rate, I think we've got to step up the game, or at least keep telling people we know however we can.
Frankly, since reading all the spoiler threads, and even the one at 'ropeofsilicon', I'm convinced more than ever that people NEED to see this film at the theatres now, people that don't yet know they need to.
I'm pasting this message on the NM new post too, just so more of you will think on this and maybe come up with a solution.
Do any of us have media clout? Wouldn't that be nice.
Perhaps one of the really positive reviews could be re-published.

Well, I for one am grateful the extended Jacob scenes didn't make the cut.. but yeah, not extending the Edward scenes is a BIG mistake, Mr Weitz.
Jessegirl, that's sad to hear. But I doubt there's much we can do about that. After all, it's an independent film, with a topic that won't attract many people to the cinema. So for that type of genre, I think it's already doing well enough. Aside from fans of the actors, I don't think we can persuade a lot of other people to go see it.

RPG, I totally agree, Chris should have left most of these scenes in. Surely Summit could afford to make the movie a little longer, given how much the movie grossed. I really think they cut too much of the emotions and acting from Edward/Bella/Carlisle scenes. That's why the critics always view their acting as stunted or lacking.
Can't wait to see the movie again.

They will be dropping screens as there are 3-4 new films opening today, Also, the window on DVD releases is closing - Disney pushed it with Alice and won their battle with Odeon -- so cinemas will be even more reluctant to do any hold-overs. Of oourse Violet can try by talking to the manager, but the chain may have no choice.

@TexasMoondance: Sometimes I think The Pretty's too subtle for his own good. Particularly in the walk along the corridor. It's like most people don't pick up on the clues he's giving away in his smile.
Mind, sometimes I wonder if Kristen's in the same film as the others, as her expression is often different from what I'd expect from the interaction.
That's not to say that I dislike her take on Bella, but I sometimes get a mismatch between her expression and the way the person she's talking to is expressing themselves, if that makes sense to you. But she's good in the bike scene here, just after Jake lifts the bike off the truck.

I know I'm getting a New Moon dvd from WalMart and ordered another from Amazon. Haven't gone there at midnight since the Wii game first came out!! Can hardly wait. I checked very quickly to see if Remember Me is still in town and it is! This week is Spring break-I live in a college town-and the high schools are out too. Plan on seeing Remember Me-tomorrow. Still can't believe that it took a tumble from last Friday to Saturday since we all made the effort for Remember Me Saturday-gotta get those #s up there and spread the word!!

The scenes I hoped for and wanted, of Bella waking up after returning from Italy, of Edward taking the time to make clear to her that she is the world to him, are not here and so i wonder if they were never made, never put into the script. They mushed some things together, somce conversations and events, in the film, that ought to have been given more time to develop.
That deleted scene with Carlisle was important for getting across Edward's dilemma of being soul-less, and the deleted classroom scene was important for Edward's motivation.
Jesse-- I tired to get through to the Remember Me site, but don't know how to reach anyone. It is so sad, such a hole, that this film is not being seen by everyone, is not understood and apprecated by everyone.
ok, one quick question...which DVD is better walmart or target? this really sucks that they did this again. i dont want all the trinkets, all i want are the extended scenes and rob's interview really, any ideas on which one is best ?????
I pre ordered the Target & Walmart editions. Are the extended scenes on those or only on the Borders one?

Well I always knew I wouldn't be buying NM. But I was hoping that some of the special features might at least tempt me to buy it despite my disappointment in this flat and Robwardless movie, but no I'm not even slightly tempted lol.
Those extended scenes are really underwhelming...I agree with solas not a single scene from the very important bedroom scene after the reunion.
I hope that the deleted scenes will be at least a little better...

@Ana~ Extended scene means a longer version of a scene that was in the movie. Deleted scene means the scene was cut out of the movie all together. I personally want a DVD with both extended and deleted scenes. Im leaning towards the target one. but dont care for the cover art~I know sounds stupid. Whoever gave the link for the dvd's ~thanks a bunch
Also wanted to mention for those who have ON DEMAND... there are some new moon goodies there. really like the one where the cast talks about CW and at the end they show behind scene footage of bella running into edward that I havne't seen before taken from inside the building. lots of little peaks at Rob...
Can't view the first 2 and the others are so jerky and buffering all the time it's irritating to watch.
GO see Remember Me again this weekend.
