oh, darlin--please just say that in Britain it's a joke, truly, and you forgot Americans would be reading it--or something--
although I suppose this new line "never joke in interviews" might deflect some of this sh*t. And I love the followup, "never do interviews," because it strikes fear in the hearts of celeb journalists everywhere!
Well I must say that while I am liking these interviews, they are getting more monotonous and generic by the minute (and I hate to say that, but it's the truth). Robert is still of course his usual wonderful charming self, but it seems like there is so much control over what they can and can't ask, that it all just comes off as redundant as a result.
And I've got to say that after watching this interview, I feel a little bad for Emilie, she worked just as hard on this movie, and yesterday was her night alongside Robert and the cast of Remember Me, but again that silly subject took the spotlight. And then today the view almost ignored Emilie, which made me feel a little bad for her.
But Robert looks really great in this suit (very yummy)! And I also LOVED the Jimmy Fallon "bothered" skit, it was so cute and funny.
I just hope that the interview that is left for him to do won't be as redundant and "toe the line" as these previous ones have been...oh how I miss the old feel in Robert's old interviews...how sad that all that is changing.
thanx sweeties for the shout out i love this interview hope they release the full HQ version i still feel there r missing parts to the ones i posted and it's really annoying to wait:)
Rob-great as usual. LMAO~Betty White!!! Rob is so diplomatic. I've always liked Barbara Walters, but her questions tend to get annoying after a while. Love that his family tag along.
The interview with The View ladies upset me at first but then after I watched the entire interview I thought they lightened up a bit and it went better. I think it took a while for them to be sucked in by his charm. Overall, I really did not care what they said, I just listened to Rob. A few thing stuck out like Barbara saying fangs, that was weird. She made up for the fang remarks by praising Rob and his acting. Emilie is very pretty, love her accent. She is a good co star for Rob. I can't wait to see Remember Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Elizabeth reacted a bit like a fan girl after they showed that Remember Me clip! But, yeah, Bab's, you need to watch Twilight or New Moon so you can see that he doesn't have fangs. What was really funny is that --- no one "bothered" to correct her after the 2nd time!Haha!
I don't see why he was on The View. He should have just been on a Barbara Walters special! Poor Emilie! But, good for us!haha
Rob can be quite the politician...but he's a naughty devil who can't seem to help himself..."I do have an allergy actually..." HA!
However, he did behave himself when Jimmy Fallon mentioned that he and Kristen could form a band together and call it "TwitStripes". He so held back...
@Rpattz and others, the "fang" reference really annoyed me. Obviously, she never saw the movie(s). Agree about him sounding more rehearsed with the same responses he's giving, but can't really blame him. I also thought they made sure to give Emilie some time to speak (the Lost talk). I also don't get the big deal BW made about their having chemistry. I just don't see it. Not that they're not nice and comfortable in each other's company, but it actually makes me appreciate (for the first time) the difference and chemistry he has with another actress he works with. Despite the fang ignorance, I agree that an interview with BW would be very interesting. And lastly, I just wish Rob had said "it's an old English joke" when the vagina reference came up, and admitted that he was "allergic". Most people will still be confused. Loved seeing the family there for him, and not corralled!

Have you heard this? When they ask about the Detail vagina quote:
"I learned two things from that interview, one thing, never try to make jokes in printed interviews, and the other is just never do interviews ever."
"So you were joking?"
"Yes, I do have an actual allergy. It`s terrible. It`s a curse."
Maybe the vag*** is K's? So he has a permnaent allergy at the moment???? ;-)))))

I kinda feel sorry for Emily. They hardly spoke to her at all.
