Fans can pre-order The Twilight Saga: New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition on DVD or Blu-ray, as well as the national two-disc Special Edition DVD or Special Edition Blu-ray, today at Walmart.com. With the new movie and 50 minutes of extra footage and interviews, The Twilight Saga: New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition also contains an exclusive, 7-minute sneak peek of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. It begins with an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the production of the newest film. New interviews with stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, as well as with series-creator Stephenie Meyer, are integrated with revealing on-the-set footage of some of the key scenes and sets from the upcoming movie. This first-look at The Twilight Saga: Eclipse concludes with the world premiere of an actual scene from the upcoming film.
With the movie release scheduled for March 20, 12:01 am, fans can be among the first to own the DVD, joining friends nationwide at midnight release events in more than 2,600 24-hour Walmart stores. The midnight release last year of the first Twilight movie brought hundreds of thousands of fans together online and in stores, becoming the most pre-ordered movie and most successful DVD movie release event in Walmart history.
Walmart’s Twilight Saga Shops, designed for both the “fan-pire” and “wolf-lover,” will open in stores mid-March and will feature a variety of items themed around the Twilight series and favorite movie characters.
Among the items in Walmart Twilight Saga Shop are:

Crap, I was just going to get the Target version, but now I'll have to get the Walmart one. The question is how long will I have to wait after it's realeased, do they ship so you get it on the release date, or do they ship on the release date? I think I'll hold off ordering for a little while longer, the Lexicon is supposed to do a comparison of all the DVDs, so I can make sure I get what I want. Last time with Twilight, getting multiple versions wasn't so bad because I had a regular DVD player. This time I have Blue-ray, & that shit is expensive.
@Nikola6: I thought it was all PR. I too am from LA and have friends in the business. I know this is done ALOT....I know of quite a few relationships in HW that are just PR, for show. So I assumed the same with Rob and KS, because of this "no confiming bit", never showing PDA...etc. But now after watching that video, it looked very natural the way he reached down and appeared to hold her hand. I think its great if its true!

I've just ordered the 3-disc deluxe edition here in Italy for 27€ and it includes the EC sneak peak, yay!!
It also comes with a cell phone charm and cards of E, B and J.
I wanted to buy the blu-ray too but I'll save the money for RM, Rob without all that makeup and in HD is gonna be amazing...
I already ordered the Target one; does anyone have an idea of the differences? Maybe someone helpful can make a chart of what each one has? I suppose I can get this one, too, if it has more features that I would want. Probably after I get a few more, someone will come out with a version with Rob and Kristen and Chris giving a running commentary.

For Twilight, I ordered the Hot Topic edition, then was really disappointed with the 'photo cell'.
I got a fantastic 3-disc ed. from HMV later, with cool things like 'Becoming Edward' on it, and CH's video montage including the grainy, sexy kissing deleted scene.
Then I had to get my friend to buy my Hot Topic ed. so that HB wouldn't know I'd actually bought two editions.

I will NOT buy more than one version. I don't see the point of spending my hard earned money for the same movie. The extras will probably end up on youtube anyways. Another way is my sister and I get different versions.
