Can't wait for the new magazine shoots and Remember Me. Even though he won't be doing any talk shows except the View and Jimmy Fallon I hope the word gets out on like Extra and ET and those shows.

I keep reading that CW has turned it down (not sure why if true, maybe the critics reaction to NM bothered him?), so if Summit is waiting to see how Eclipse is received before finalizing a director for BD, that could explain the delay.
His jaw, lips, hair, oh fuck me, just everything is amazing in that photo.
As for him only being on those shows, I'm sure all the other shows like Extra, Access Hollywood, ET, etc. will still talk to him at the junket and use those interviews on their shows.
My gut feeling is that Summit is hanging onto the Eclipse trailer until RM. I mean between now and that film, with what movie would you pair this trailer?
Maybe I'm being a pessimist and overly anxious, but this is what I'm thinking. :o(
Edward (Rob) is what is carrying these movies. The books may have started it but Rob is the main reason people keep going and returning to the movies. The studio would be silly indeed not to include as much Edward as possible. (Are you reading these posts DS? Good.)
I love Rob in blue........that pix is so gorgeous even though I've seen it many times it's still so pretty of him........not so great of Kstew but we all know she is gorgeous too.
Maybe Summit finally got it that no matter how much they try to push Jacob and/or taylor, it is Rob as an actor, and Edward/Bella characters and love, that most of us wish to see.

I didn't realize that he'll have an Anemic Edward standing and saying in a weak way... "Bella, Stop!... when I read the book he sound almost angry that Bella was putting herself in danger... and in NM... Sheesh!!! And give us a strong Edward as well because he's strong character... Deffinately more of these Bella/Edward scene would be quite nice after all... isn't the Saga about Edward/Bella love story!!!
And God... That Banner gets me everytime..I think my obsession is getting serous. Jeepers!

Am I the only one who is a little concerned about this comment coming so late in the editing process? He should have had this mindset from the beginning. My concern is that after editing and previewing, the movie was not impressive enough so he had the afterthought to "add more EDWARD!"

Yes. Courting a male audience is silly if the original fanbase is female. The female audience wants -Edward! Twilight the movie was a Robfest; I couldnt' take my eyes off him. Slo-mo entrance. Anticipation. The smile/pout/smirk when he hands her the apple. I was a goner. The rest of the 'bad guy' sequence. Goner. The Kiss. Gone and died. Hospital scene at the end. 'You've got to go to Jacksonville.' -NO,no.
If CH did anything right it was having the camera love Robert every second he was there, in lingering, glorious close-ups, which CW did not do. The shirtless reconciliation scene CW screwed up. I know exactly how it should have been (we had a hundred shirtless photos to show us, didn't we, what could have been) and our boy was fully up to the part, in all its tortured, Adonis, splendour. It should have been another memorable slo-mo sequence...Oh, you all know how it could have been.... Oh, but the wolves were great -she says sarcastically.
jessegirl - I totally agree. You put into words what I've been trying to think of since I saw NM. I loved parts of it, but there was so much that was just wasted. Nothing more so than the Italy/reunion scene. The fan made videos had more emotion to them than the finished product. I could cry at the waste. Hopefully Slade will do better.
We may never get everything we want in the Twilight movies. But I'll take what I can get. And I agree that some of the fan made vids were better than the real thing. **sigh**
@femroc--O/T was it you who mentioned Jeff Buckley's Lilac Wine on another thread? I like JB but had not heard this song. It is quite lovely. Thanks (if not you to whoever). Wish Rob would sing more. He's got a great voice too.
Nope, there can NEVER be too much Robert in my life. I absolutely cannot wait for all these great Rob and Kristen movies coming out in the next few months...especically Eclipse.
Maybe I'm overly anxious, but if D.Slade had to add more Edward does it mean Summit thought there really was not enough Edward in Eclipse? That is sooo bad. You know what I'm afraid of ? That Slade is going to give us an action-packed movie with lots of wolves and newborns and just a few short scattered scenes of Edward and Bella. As in NM, frustratingly short romantic scenes! I understand Eclipse is more action-oriented but it is still about Edward and Bella's love, that is the only thing that counts. You could cut out all the wolves and the newborns and it still would be worth it for me. But you can't cut out Edward and Bella. I hope he got that right. Oh dear now I'm really worried. I so don't want an action/horror film. I want a love story!! It's about LOVE David!
