I think half of what Rob says is BS. I think he likes to throw everyone off. He's a kid. I have a brother who is his age and half of what he says is BS for effect. I'm sure Rob really loved his dog and dosent want to give away anything about who he truly has an emotional connection with. Smart. But I doubt its Kristen.
He just said it in the Details interview (or repeated it from a previous one).
I think it's as simple as, he's not going to give up too much of his 'emotional life.' If you'll notice, he doesn't go and on about his personal relationships; parents, siblings, girlfriends, mates. Why? Because that is EXTREMELY personal.
For someone who isn't going to give up his relationships with those he loves, it's easier to go on and on about the dog. Not that I doubt for a minute that what he felt for that pup wasn't real. He had her since he was a very little boy. He'll love and miss that dog for as long as he lives.
What gets me is how people seem to take most everything at face value these days. And rarely is the truth of something, lying on the face of it. Got to dig a little deeper if you want to get at some truth. And we will not get that opportunity with Rob because in all liklihood, were not going to get the chance to know him personally. All we can do is take the totality of his comments and try to come up with a picture of him. Not just pick out a random comment here and there and figure that with that one random comment, that he's just defined himself.
I'm a strong believer in a free press, but one that employs responsibility and accountability. But that's not what the tabs about. They are simply about sensation. Why people buy and read it (especially when they know it's crap), is beyond me. 'Course, people have kept Jerry Springer on the air for years and years too.
Well, to be fair, I have a darling husband I adore, but my dog is pretty dang special to me. I mean, I dont' see my husband jumping up and down and licking my face when I get home.(If I did I would have him evaluated and committed).
I love Rob. He always makes me smile and never takes himself too seriously.
i agree with lovesrob, half or more is just bs fluff and stuff to tell interviewer and thats it.he is just a kid(a beautiful kid)but still a kid, cant wait till he hits 30,more mature more expirence.
wow!!cant believe there is people who still dont know he with kristen. I wonder if any of this article was written before his dog died. I did hear the same thing he wanted a house so he could get a new dog. I think rob has that personality where he says crazy shit.. I wouldn't take everything word for word. He also very smart and private.
Are people stupid? That quote isn't even a response to the "rumours about his romantic attachments". He was talking about living at a certain place and not being able to handle it just like his uncle did for his grandma or something.
dude clearly loves his dog, wich isnt that big of a surprise i mean..we all love our PETS!!!
ReplyDeleteLMFAO, foot meet mouth. I think Rob's wonky feet are well aquainted with his mouth. LOL

I thought his dog died in 2008. Did he get another? I thought he said once he wanted a house so he could get another dog...
ReplyDeleteDid anyone know Kristen wore a dog collar for most of the movie "The Runaways?"
