From ABC.com:
That's right, the Twilight heartthrob will make his very first appearance on The View March 2nd! Robert, dubbed as one of People magazine's “Sexiest Men Alive,” will appear along with Emilie De Ravin, his co-star in the upcoming film Remember Me. (Emilie's also back for the final season of Lost as Claire, so maybe she'll have something to say about that too.)
Of course you know him as the sultry, brooding, sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga, Robert (a.k.a.“RPattz”) is a 23-year-old English actor, singer/musician and model who was first introduced to movie audiences as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Later, his starring role in Twilight catapulted him to instant stardom. The highly anticipated third installment, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released later this year. Robert, who composes his own music, sings two of the songs on the Twilight soundtrack: “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign.”
Thanks to MsJBell :)
I am looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteRob will do great, especially with Whoopie & Joy.... It's the blonde idiot that he should not even go near!
ReplyDeleteoh no! not the view! :-( really don't like the view - they never shut up and even then they never really say anything - blah blah blah blah!
ReplyDeleteit will be hard to watch, but thank goodness for tivo and being able to get to the Rob part!!
There's new RM stills out @thinking of rob
ReplyDeleteITA, RPG & Angie! Can't watch her! Or it. Most annoying. Just go do Ellen again. (Oh, come on, you guys!)
ReplyDeleteLOL. We love Ellen. We love Rob. We love Rob & Ellen!!! ; )
The View? Bleh.
UGH, I LOATHE The View....BUT for Rob, I will suffer through it. ;)
ReplyDeleteNever watch the View. Hate it! I will change all that for Rob!
ReplyDeleteCOUGAR ALERT! They are going to be all over him, embarrassing him.
I have to get a DVR.
And I need to move to NY!
Anyone else overwhelmed today with all the news. Hard to keep up while at work.
would love to see him on Ellen again!! but he will be on the east coast. what other NY based talk shows could he be on for RM promo?
ReplyDeleteLadies, the drought is finally over. After this long time, I will not get enough of him!!!
ReplyDelete@CL: And I decided to move to LA!!!
Oh Hallelujia. He will be back in the states for this and maybe we will see more of him. He will be great on the View. The ladies are more frisky with each other than with their guests. They will treat him well and will not be immuned to his charms.
ReplyDelete"Got any questions for Robert? Tell us here!"

Hey CullenLover - ready for that Robstock roadtrip now???
ReplyDeleteOooohhhh, those women will eat him alive! LOL. Hey I would, wouldn't you? they will all be touching him I bet. LOL. Can't wait. Is it March yet?? Gotta get my ass to NY!!!
ReplyDeleteAngie & anyone interested in Robstock 2010 - e-mail me and let's figure out some details/amount of people.
ReplyDeleteCome hell or high water, I want to be in NY for this.
Susanne - Either coast is good. Rob spends a good deal of time in LA, too. Being here in the Midwest sucks, big time.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I thought The View would grab him this time as Regis&Kelly got him just a few months ago for NM. I'm don't watch this show either (unless there's someone on who interests me). It's too much a hen party for my tastes.
ReplyDeleteDid someone ask about other NY shows? Well. He just did Letterman, so I doubt he'll do it again. Isn't Jimmy Fallon in NY? And I don't believe he did his show for NM. Wasn't it Kristen? And that could be a riot. Remember Jimmy's impression of Edward up a tree complaining about everyone and everything bothering him? That was pretty funny. Who knows. But I would imagine he would do the morning shows again (Today, GMA). Again, who knows?
They're going to have a tricky time with ANY interviews though. How are they going to talk about the subject matter and what happens without spilling it? The twist? And especially with this promotional junket taking place in NY? There gonna have to be real careful here. Very tricky indeed.
Thw rob drought seems to be ending!
ReplyDeleteMight I suggest that anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled, you might want to check this blog first and see if anything was spilled before watching the interviews yourself. Same would be true of ANY promotion for this.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I can't imagine the 'legitmate' press would give it up and hurt the films chances. The internet is a whole other animal though. If you don't want to know what happens in this movie, as the promotion kicks in and the release date gets closer...
DO NOT GO WANDERING AROUND THIS INTERNET!!! ('cause you're gonna stumble across something)
Just sayin'
What is the date that Robert Pattinson with be a guest on the view?
ReplyDeleteGlad he's not doing this one on his own.
ReplyDeleteOH I'm really looking forward to this, it will be so nice to see Robert and Emilie doing this interview. I'm sure it will be playful and good! I miss Robert in these open/playful settings and I'm sure Emilie will be great as well!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for this! And for the movie of course!
Oh and yes I hope that the ladies of the view will know when to shut it, and let Robert and Emilie talk
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see Joy put her foot in her mouth. Sherie flirting. Whoopie looking amused along with Barbara. And Elisabeth asking ridiculous questions. This is going to be interesting. Definitely not a appearance to miss.
ReplyDeleteI find the whole lot of them obnoxious. What this poor lad has to endure!
ReplyDeleteYeah Solas...
ReplyDeleteActors or should I say 'artists' (which is how I think of Rob), they detest promotion, the schilling of their product. They know it's part of the gig, but they hate it. Well. The fame whores loves it. But not the artists. Sorry BB. Your job is twofold...
1) step in front of a camera and deliver a performance
2) go out and sell that performance
But as he once said, he could be selling shoes. And as Harrison Ford once said, 'acting sure beats the hell out of working.' Although I don't have much respect for that comment as I don't believe Ford has much respect for the acting profession. He has said he doesn't see himself as an artist but rather, as a craftsman. He doesn't have a whole lot of emotional ties to his work. He said it. I didn't.
Whereas I believe Rob is totally wrapped up emotionally in his work and it is indeed 'work' for him that I also believe he takes great pride in. If he didn't, I don't think he'd do it. I just don't think that fame and a paycheck is enough for him.
Just my opinion and that don't make me right.
So, eating him alive is a bad thing? :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see the interviews on the east coast shows (if you don't want any clues or spoilery, maybe you shouldn't read anymore)
People are never going to stop being sensitive to the subject matter. I know when I first heard the ending, I was kind of uncomfortable hearing about a movie using that as a plot point.
hmmm...we don't have the view here so I never seen it. I hope I can watch it somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThe drought was killing me but it seems to be soon over.
oh God, I hate that cluck fest.
ReplyDeleteThey did a cartoon on SNL once about the View. It was one of those "TV Funhouse" things they used to do...and they had the audio of the show synched to animated hens. It soooo fit LOL
@nik: http://www.robertisbothered.com SOOOO funny!!!
ReplyDelete@CL: I would go with you to NY immediately if I wasn´t on vacation!
When I move to LA you can stay with me for the premieres :-)))
yes, these women WILL eat him alive.
ReplyDeleteGod I hope he can survive it.
He's never been on the View before right?
Rob had better wear a cup!!! Cause they're gonna bust his balls.
@femroc
ReplyDeleteLMAO
I hope Rob can get a word in edgewise~ Maybe these ladies will for once be rendered speechless!! And Rob would be the one to do it!
Praise the Lord, the dry spell is winding down!!!
i really wonder what his management is thinking...the are going to pick at him. they dont usually hold back, they say what they want. poor rob, i wonder if he knows what he is in store for.
ReplyDeleteCL - I don't have your email address. Please email me!
ReplyDeletehere is mine:
stuff4angie@yahoo.com
Robstock or bust!
:-)
FILTM!!!
@Susanne - OMG! That is so sweet. I will totally take you up on that. I really want to get to do all of this stuff this year, because I didn't last year (RL kicked my ass last year). Closer to June, let's work out the details. Yippee!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete*sigh* those women will not even give him the time to finish a comment before tripping over each other with some kind of witty comeback *heavy sarcasm here*
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they'll ask him the one question they're not allowed to ask..............hahaha,that'll be interesting.
ReplyDeletePlease do not get your knickers in a twist. Rob will be fine on the View. Its on ABC and abc.com will have it or You Tube will. So do not worry, you'll get to see it.
ReplyDeleteNikola6, All 3 were on Jimmy Fallon. Loved the question to Rob about "Is the misbuttoned shirt a fashion statement" He totally didn't know what she was talking about. (misbuttoned shirts everywhere, like MTV awards???!!!) He didn't have a clue. Love him to death. He showed us again he's totally adorkable.
FILTM
Um..all three were actually on Jimmy Kimmel. Only Kristen and Taylor were on Fallon's show. Yeah, I'm a pedant but I prefer Kimmel to have the nod than Fallon. ;)
ReplyDelete@ap, thanks, I don't watch either one. Just Craig Ferguson. Love his show.
ReplyDeleteGot my Jimmy's mixed up! I recorded anything with Rob's name that week of promo's for New Moon.
It was Kimmel that all 3 were on and the audience questions. It's on You Tube, so anyone can watch again.
I deleted my comment, because like Nancy, I got the Jimmy's mixed up. With egg on my face, I promise to pay more attention and rebuild my credibility (@Nik).
ReplyDeleteI do, however, still wish it was Kimmel he would be re-visiting to promote RM. Think it would be more entertaining, based on previous interaction. Though Fallon's football tossing with KS was kind of cute.
