FINALLY something new from Eclipse. These pics make me more at ease knowing that the ROMANCE of the story hasn't been forgotten in the midst of all the "action" talk. I have to admit all the talk about the action scenes had me worried but these pics makes me more comfortable that David Slade did NOT ignore the core of the story, that there is a love story here. YAY!

I hope they kept the part when Edward gives Bella the silver heart...that was so romantic. And they had better not let Jacob give her a second gift. He gave her hte gift in NM, it wouldn't be fair for them to put another scene in Eclipse about it.
But I think that those stills show that there is hope for Eclipse, and it could turn out being a good movie.
And Robert of course looks fantastic in both sets of stills, both as Robward (who has the first place in my heart) and Rob/Tyler.
However, and I never thought I would be saying this, but I seem to be liking the RM stills more. I see more chemistry in the RM stills, than these.
Now I can only hope that the RM storyline will be as good as the stills and the trailer make it seem to be (I'm proud that I've managed to keep myself mostly spoiler free when it comes to the RM storyline so far!)

I absolutely love these pictures. I really do hope that Eclipse focuses more on the Edward Bella scenes and much less on the Jacob Bella story line. I know the books build this competition, but the books also make it absolutely clear throughout that Edward is her soul mate and that she cannot be without him. So really there is no competition.

Rob looks hot, although Bella is resting on him awkwardly lying down imo. I think I'm becoming less and less excited about the Twilight films now. I haven't even pre ordered NM yet because it didn't do much for me. I want to see Rob, loved him, but the general tone and Hollywood-ness of the movie, plus lack of E/B, turned me off.
The fact that Rob has sooo much chemistry with Emilie makes me think less of the chemistry he has with Kristen too. I think Bella wanted Edward more in the first film, because in NM and with these pictures it makes me think that Bella's not even remotely arsed. She's supposed to look like she wants to jump on his dick, but she doesn't look like that in these pictures at all. Hopefully the scenes in the movie will be better !! :)
