Can I say one thing? Just a thought - Kristen is 19 years old. My daughter is also 19 and I look at the two of them and am struck by how mature KS is. It amazes me how well she does handle all this attention and press and lack of privacy. She seems wise beyond her years. to think she was barely 18 doing all that press for the first movie. If any of you have children or friends who are just 19 - compare the two. It's easy to expect so much of KS because she SEEMS so much older, but in truth, she is not even legal to drink yet. Yet everyone expects her to act totally perfect. Imagine how overwhelming all this attention must be to someone who obviously is basically a shy person. I think if you keep her age and youthfulness and shyness in prospective, you might realize that while she might need to learn things (and who doesn't) about how to "properly" act in public, she has done remarkably well for such a young person.
AND - remember your first love? Imagine you had all this other drama to deal with besides all the awkward feelings that go with your first, meaningful, deep love.
Just remember how YOU were at 19 and maybe it will put it all into some kind of perspective.
OT - isn't it wonderful how one small, fuzzy picture of them leaving in a car is enough for Robsten fans? That picture will keep us all happy for months!!!
Warm today. My pennyworth: Rob will continue to have the friends he wants to have, and do the projects he wants to do, and live his life the way he sees fit - no matter the judgements. And Gozde will continue to moderate as she sees fit. :)

In all honesty I am am a year older than Kristen. I do think she does act own her age. She doesn't act older and she doesn't act younger. She may be a young adult, but she is still an adult and she is almost 20. Not every 20 year old is at a frat party doing god knows what.
I think she has both mature and immature qualities
I think she can't articulate well because she is nervous which is understandable, but it is something she really should spend time working on. She also has a dgaf attitude that should have been left at the playground in middle school.
She is mature in my eyes as well because she even after all the garbage she has to deal with she takes it with stride. she understands she has no control over it. she has said that she wants to go to school and she seems to prioritize herself well.
she is almost 20 so I am going to just call her a 20 year old. I think she does act her age. She has immature qualities but that can be blamed on a alternative lifestyle. She was home schooled and thrust into the movie business at such a young age. she probably rarely had a lot of friends her own age so she kind of skipped on the childhood drama that is filled with life lessons. on the flipside she probably only interacted with adults she she knows how to 'act like an adult'
i don't know. i kind of see her as a normal 20 yr old. or at least as normal as a 20 yr old who was thrust into the fame of hollywood can get ya know?

They stands out from the rest people. They do not feel the need to force the match to the vision of others.I if I were in their shoes I would also acted similarly.
wow, I cannot believe all of the hateful comments posted on here. I think its great to have differing opinions. Everyone is entitled to have his/her own feelings.
I am a huge KStew fan. I don't judge her by her looks or demeanor. (Mama taught me to never judge a book by its cover). I've seen countless KStew interviews, and although she may not be the most eloquent speaker, she is an extremely intelligent 19 year old. I think its amazing to have such depth at such a young age.
Maybe the reason why KStew is self deprecating and so self conscious is because of these unreasonable expectations, ie: smiling more for the camera, being more appreciative (who says she isn'?) I for one wouldn't be able to handle all of these hateful comments and I am in my 20s, let alone 19!

I totally support you. We are not sheep. You are entitled to your own opinion and should be able to give it here freely. You were not rude or disrespectful and if others don't agree, they should still respect your views. How is it bashing if it’s her opinion? Why should this site be neutral? That goes against the whole idea of having a forum for comments and discussion. People should just be mature enough to understand that not everyone will agree with their POV and get over it. Kristen is a legitimate topic; why should we restrict the threads to how much we love Rob and not be able to discuss any other aspect of his life?

I never comment but I do read this site EVERYDAY!! First off, Rob looked awesome/delicious last night, as he always does. I love his "Mr. Darcy" look he has going on right now. As for Kristen, I am in the middle with her. I went and rented almost all of her movies after I saw her in Twilight because I wasn't feeling her and I wanted to see if it was just how she was being directed. She's okay and she still has a lot to learn hence the "rising" part in the award she received last night. I'm still looking forward to seeing her in her next upcoming films away from Twilight. The only negative thing I have to say about her is that she needs to hire a different stylist because her outfit choices for the past few public appearances have been horrible! She is a beautiful girl and her appearance should reflect who she is.
The Kristen bashing in this thread is a real turnoff because I don't come here to Robsessed to read bashing comments. I come here to worship Rob period. Have a little respect for Rob please.
Rob in a tux....WOW... On the Kristin thing, she is just 19 and their lives have changed so much in the last year. I think they are both handling things pretty good considering the changes they have been through.
I'm gutted to have to say this, but OMG - I hate his new hair! Whoever is responsible for that should be fired.

As others have said, and Steph put so eloquently, it should be allowed that everyone has an opinion. If your opinion differs than it can be debated. Problem here is that once you begin to call people names, because they say something you do not agree with, then it will descend into disagreement and stop being a debate.

My last 2 cents: If people want to discuss their "opinions" of Kristen Stewart, go to those other blogs and vent all you want. This is about Robert Pattinson and when one of his best friends is on the radar, because all things Rob are posted here (thank you G,K,K), it should not be open season to load and fire your opinions on said "friend" based on a photo or preconceived ideas you might have, (regardless of their fame). This is the internet and anyone, including K's family, friends, and Rob's can easily access it. Yes, criticize his clothing choices, his hair, misbuttoning or shoe-lacing (my pet peeve :), but from Rob's perspective, how would YOU feel if someone you cared about, a friend or SO, was being criticized on the internet, with derorgatory, even hateful bashing, based on a photo, or from something they think they know, as strangers who have never met them. It's simple: Rob likes Kristen, respecting him means respecting his friends too. If you don't like her, apparently there's lots of other places to express yourself.

Ok, haven't read all the comments yet, but I have to chime in on the "hater" issue. Lots of fellow Robsessors that aren't keen on Kstew get really offended when they are called haters. I doubt any of these people really feel genuine hatred for Kstew BUT the term hater (in its current hip hop incarnation) DOES fit. Here's a definition from Urban dictionary:
Hater: A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.
Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse [sic].
The point here is that if you feel compelled to dis Kstew -- someone that you don't know and that has never done anything to you perosnally -- you are definitely a "hater." No, this does not mean that you feel hatred or even jealousy, but you do feel the need to "take her down a peg"

I am not censoring ANYTHING, I didn't delete a single comment and I wasn't talking about people expressing opinions. Kemberly made it sound like I was telling her to take the KStew criticism down a notch. I was telling her to take her tone towards OTHERS down. She told people to fuck off, not Kristen but readers of this blog.
And it wasn't the first time. I don't moderate comments, I just interfere when someone is a repeat offender.
And this site is still ROBsessed, I can't make people in the comments talk about "only Rob". Today it's KSTew tomorrow it will be Emilie, the next day Uma.

I think it is so cool! I am so happy for them to be able to find time to be alone together if they are in love! He is such a sweet guy and I think Kristen is an amazing talent who is always herself. We have only seen the start of their professional careers, and have no way of knowing them personally for the most part. In my opinion,if they are able to find love and respect in a fishbowl full of sharks and jerks, BLESS THEM!! They are both young, beautiful, and it doesn't make me love Rob as an ACTOR any less! I think it is awesome they want to keep their relationship private,and they should have that right.

IMO Robsessed hasn't changed. It's still my first and fave source of Rob news. You do an awesome job.
Any claim that Robsessed has become shipper central can't taken seriously. The people that are making these claims are simply projecting their dismay over Rob and Kristin's close relationship onto you.
As you said, this site is still "all Rob all the time" and you can't exactly dictate what types of conversations people have in the comment sections.

I can't make people respect Kristen, I can't make people respect Rob either. That's why we never take place in the "respect this and that" campaigns. Respect is earned.
