  2. hi again...

I just want to share with you all...

    I am crying right now..
because I read the script a long time ago and with these scenes (like the couch and the bed!!!!) I am sure that Robert will nail it? is that right say 'nail it'??
I am not talking about 'sex' scenes.. I am talking about sensitivity and love that spills everywhere...

but I have said it several times already...

    IT's killing me... OH Jesus...
    *sigh*
    *sigh*

  8. Hello everybody!!!

It`s so good waking up and listening Rob`s voice. Better than this is listening the gentle words of Emilie de Ravin and comments of people I admire as: Allen Coulter, Pierce Brosnan and specially Chris Cooper talking about Robert Pattinson and how he is concentrated in his work and how he is getting even better as an actor in his new film.
For me it`s still difficult to understand why some people are so jealous about such a good actor like he is. In so little time he did many different roles: a nerd, a looser ,a tortured genius, a charismatic school leader, a gentleman vampire. He is so young, talented, audacious, ambitious ( in the best meaning of these two words ) and has been working hard in building a career more solid.
He doesn`t deserve speculations about his private life only because he is spontaneous, is well articulated in his interviews and subtly sexy in his photographic essays. He is a man who is worth being listened and appreciated because he reads a lot and always there is something new to learn with him. His photographic essays are becoming increasingly interesting, as the wealth of details to be observed: a look at the camera, the position of his hands, position of his body. He creates the character and convinces us that the illusion is real.
This is all what turns him in the sensitive actor that he already is and in the great artist and great personality that he will be in near future.
How many actors and actresses, of his generation, we can say the same thing?
He is human, he is complex , like we all are, he is a successful man but even so, he is modest and has nobility of character.

    I love you Rob!!!
Oh! I love these screencaps too. Rob is so cute and sweet in them.

    Thanks for posting them.

  9. Oh, my GAWD, Remember Me is getting closer, isn't it?
The screencaps are totally distractive... how can a guy look this good?
I'm still intoxicated by Details, Eclipse and Bel Ami's pics (yummy yummy), and now these again?
    Hum...

I see you, Mr Pattinson... You keep me 'distracted', but I love the sight.
    Muah! :x

    ReplyDelete
  22. This movie, it will make Rob a superstar, not just because of twilight. This movie is a perfect showcase for him, and it will certainly be the death of me....over and over and over.....LOL
When do you think the DVD will be out? July-ish?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Remember me has no happy ending?
I do not like movies without happy endings
but there is Rob ..that changes everything
@ Haystackhair you are right...Remember me will changes everything for Rob

    Unbelievable Rob

    ReplyDelete
  29. pierce: "he has very watchable likeable, intensity to him"

    Well,that's Rob :D

    ReplyDelete
  30. HarnessRob?? I missed that too. i love the ff rec. you guys have me hooked. Which one is MoTU? I agree with the sad endings. I try to avoid them--but there is Rob

    ReplyDelete
  31. and Pierce, likeable is the understatement of the century..Unless you meant to say lickable perhaps?
Did you guys see CW&IA ended? WAH. I bawled. I love that story so much. I'm literally depressed (HAH! I made a pun!) right now because it is done.

Haystack, I know! Loved CW&IA. It ended well.

    ReplyDelete
  33. ADM thank you for the link. Like the bed pic-for obvious reasons but-he has really nice arms and gorgeous hands--long fingers

    ReplyDelete
  34. LT--I love what you wrote and the way you wrote it.
Sadly, it is part of human life--but not neccessarily nature--(because it is animal nature, and we have that as well as human and divine connection) to be jealous, to covet, and to take down people who threaten one's sense of self, or well-being, etc. Under normal or ancient conditions, that would be logical, self-preservation; under sick conditions, where people don't have healthy sense of self, where society is disturbed, it translates too often into destroying beauty, talent, intelligence, kindness, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  35. HarnessRob is very MotU!
If we could clone him, we could all have the Rob we love all the time.
@Wensdazzled - you will love MotU.

Who here is a scientist? We need your help!

@Gwen - We can definitely do that. I like black t-shirt Rob as well. Don't forget StoliRob!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I was referring to last night with the "harness" reference in the details mag interview. Rob wanted to get one and put it on.Im being a smartazz-last night was lots of fun with all those pics:) helluva party!

    ReplyDelete
  43. @ADM love the ff--fav are HA, LB,breakfast at tiff and the one in the bank against the wall when the power went out--

Cloning--i'm in the medical field, we could do this! definetly has to be Robman--not raising him--i'm already too old for the lusty thoughts i have for him. Still in the 35-44 group that "know who he is" that poll must be wrong!

    ReplyDelete
  44. @Skorpia- Cloned as is. Full grown, 23-year old, sex-haired man.

@Dina - Stupid RL and time difference. We miss you.

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Annie - That's my plan. =) We just need a lock of the sexhair and we can be in the cloning business.

  50. So NBs...I'm Back. Relatives have went back to their respective states and I get to log in and see all the goodies I missed over the last week.

    UMMMMM DETAILS - seriously DIED.

Loved the vogue pics. I caught up on FF last night. How I love MoTU and CW&IA. Expectations and other moving pieces had a good update as well..really love that story. Can you believe wallbanger updated and feathersmmmmmmmmmm is published WOOHOO that is so awesome.

Anyway I heart all of you and missed our NB chats. By the way I read some rather not so nice stuff in one of the threads about Rob's interview. I loved it. I thought it showed him as "hard to read" basically a mind that is artistic and bouunces from one idea to the next. The vag comment was totally a joke did nobody get that?? I thought his interview was great and I loved the PICS obviously very artistically done. GO ROB!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Alright girls...I think I'm gonna cave and go check the spoiler thread out...I'm so weak!!

    =)

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Solas

    Thank you.
I agree with you. Even so, because of my personality, profession or both, I am a dreamer. Maybe I have to accept this "disturbed society", but I need trying to equilibrate this game, supporting the "good guys".
Sorry my English. Sometimes I think my thought is a bit chaotic (LOL).

    Thanks again.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Hell wensdazzled, let's get on that cloning thing! I agree with Gwen, pour stubble in the mix.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Welcome back Teri. You were missed.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hiya, Teri. And you would be surprised at how many didn't get the Details interview or joke. Still, the shots were AMAZING!

Did you see the Eclipse stills, when they were briefly up? To die for!

    ReplyDelete
  56. @ADM you collect the sex hair and I'll get right to work. Definetly stubble and when we dress him a shorter tshirt--so we can find the "trail" :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Gwen - my bad. Definitely stubble. We would take Rob as is, and duplicate him a million times over. So wonky legs, long fingers, big feet, chest hair, sex hair, pouty lips, that tongue that does weird things to me, and the beautiful eyes, mind, soul and voice. Did I forget anything, because I am kind of in my fantasy land right now.

    Sound good? Let's get started!

    ReplyDelete
  58. no I didn't see the eclipse stills, what were they off? RATS I was probably at Seaworld that day.

Hi Gwen, ADM, RPG we need a serious NB vacation where RL takes a bake burner for a few days.

Don't think that's happening anytime soon. I just found out my son needs tubes in his ears and adnoids removed. He just turned 7 so he is really scared.

So how did you guys like the CW&IA epi??? I don't know for some reason I wanted a little more at the end.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Teri,
So sorry to hear about your little one.....

We had quite an NB last night....I'm sure we'll have another one really soon!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Um...hi everyone :) I was just getting started on Twilight FF...suggestions?

    ReplyDelete
  61. OT - But does anyone know if Rob will present at the BAFTA's on Sunday? The awards are in London, he's in London. I will be watching on BBC America just in case.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Even when I'm away your NB nights are following me! :) So I saw a copule of pictures thanks to Annie ;)
    aaaaawww I missed you NB's!

I'm falling for Mr. Racy here even more since THE interview!

    FILTM!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Rose, ff recs depend on what you're looking for, kinda.

Here's a few of my more recent favs---these are "dip your toes in" ffs, nothing to angsty and/or "too Adult" (I know, NB blasphemy! Sorry!).

    Enjoy!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Someone mentioned the second pic? Yeah. That one gets me everytime. Everytime! Can only look at it for a second before I have to turn away.

    And Denise...
You said something about Rob getting an Oscar one day. Well, I don't know about an acutal win, but he may be doing a film very shortly that could get him a nomination. Have you read Water For Elephants? It's a wonderful and in the story, they have to age Rob's character from 23 to 93. That's 70 years and if they do it with make up and not resort to CGI (or get an older actor to play 'old Jacob'), and if he can pull it off, THAT is the kind of role that can get an actor an Oscar nomination.

    And welcome back Teri...
So sorry to hear about your little one. I had the same problems in childhood; tubes in my ears, adnoids removed and three mastoid surgeries all before the age of eight. You said he's scared but here's the thing, kids are so resilient. They just bounce back. If I had to go through all of that today, it would probably kill me. Just make sure that from here on out, he doesn't ever get any water in his ears. I even have to shower with an ear plug in mine. The right one, that's where all my trouble has been. And for earaches, warm olive oil held in with cotton and a heating pad. Heat is the only thing that ultimately gives me relief. I still get the occasional earache, but after the surgeries, they pretty much went away. Not chronic anymore.

Let us know how it turns out. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Seriously. I know earache pain and the only that can touch it would be, toothache pain.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @Teri Hope you're son will get better soon! :DDDD HUGS! Tell him the younger he is, it will hurt less! :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. You are very welcome, Teri, and ITA. Awesome!

I'd explain why they went up then down, but I still am confused so maybe someone else here could... IDK.

So. Did you notice the Leg Hitch?

    LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Rose, follow this link to my faves. Pick and choose. Some are light and funny, some are very heavy on angst. If you want more info on any one let me know.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Teri, hope all goes well with your son and that he feels better soon.

    ReplyDelete
  70. @ Teri, my son had tubes in both his ears 3 times already, and adenoids removed. The first time he got the tubes, he was 3. It is a good thing, believe me; it helps a lot. Best of luck. Be brave, woman! {HUGS}

    ReplyDelete
  71. thx @Nik and @Fae. I will definitely keep those pointers in mind. I love robsessed everyone here is knowledgeable on so many different things its like a one stop shop for life.

@Gwen I did see the leg hitch and was so happy b/c when I read the script I wanted it to say LEG HITCH and it didn't so I was worried. LOL - I am like COME ON we NEED the LEG HITCH. LOL

What's the scoop on the up and down stuff hmmmmmmmmm??

    ReplyDelete
  72. @CL

I've wondered about that too, if he'd be attending. If so, it would be to just present I imagine, to be 'seen' so to speak, so...I dunno. He doesn't strike me as the type to show up to these kinds of things unless he's absolutely forced to (cheesy stuff like MTV Movie Awards or Teen Choice or the VMA's...that was purely Summit sending them there for Twi promotion). Being 'seen' just doesn't strike me as Rob's 'scene.' Although if he doesn't attend the award ceremony itself, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see him pop up at some of the after parties. And if so, I would imagine there would be a papp pic or two to follow.

I would also guess that if he were presenting or participating, it would have been announced by now. But who knows?

    ReplyDelete
  73. @Teri my youngest had tubes. it was a little scarey but what huge improvement it made.

thanks for the ff rec. I sure do like the naughty Twilight ones. :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. @wensdazzled I am glad to hear it helped a lot.

Also I have a ffic page was well that logs all of my fav stories.

  75. Putting my white coat on, preparing and waiting for the DNA sample.

I'm thinking about the headlines. Mad ROBsessed women cloned Robert Pattinson. I wonder what Rob would think about that? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thanx ADM :) That's a lot to pick from!!! I'll be occupied for days with this stuff...thanx again :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. @Teri-good luck with the tubes and thank yo for the ff rec. You ladies are wonderful

    ReplyDelete
  78. @annie--maybe we would be so impressed he would feel the need to donate other samples in addition to his hair :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Teri - Sorry about your son. I was supposed to have my adnoids (sp?) removed when I was a kid and I didn't. Wish I had, it made swimming kind of gross.
And the LEG HITCH pic was the best. I think everyone sqeeeeed when they saw that.

@Wensdazzled - Laid Bare is epic. Alphabet Weekends is so sexy and will give you lots of ideas for your personal life.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I meant he would be so impressed--we already are

    ReplyDelete
  81. @annie hey its good to be back. I missed you NBs.

I definitely will be needing a sample as well so you know where to find me.

    ReplyDelete
  82. @wensdazzled, I was hoping for that ;)we a lot of samples to have the perfect clone.

    ReplyDelete
  83. CL I think alphabet weekends is the only one I haven't read. Is it finished?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I am so excited to see this. So far, I have not been spoiled. *crosses fingers*

Rob looks incredible and Emilie looks beautiful.

I want this to blow people away. There are such high expectations for this movie that I'm feeling a little anxious. There's a lot of pressure on him. *deep breath* I know he can do it. I'm counting the days!

    ReplyDelete
  85. @CL--more ideas :) my husband has been enjoying the fact i've been reading ff--

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh my, @ annie, what is THIS mouth doing in your avi?? Love it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Yeah. I loved those Eclipse shots. Made me think they're not going to shortchange us on the love story after all. I know some were worried that with this director, it was just gonna be one big vamp/wolf fist fight.

Summit has to know that at the core of this story, we are dealing with a pair of lovers. A pair of lovers that by the time this franchise ends, will most likely go down as one of the best screen couples in history. And they know what their audience is...
80-90% female. They'd be fools to shortchange the love story.

Gives me hope for BD too. No, it's not going to be graphic, but the feathers flying and the gouched out headboard have become iconic moments as E&B went from high school sweethearts to husband and wife.

And like I've always said, Summit knows it's audience. They know were not all screaming 12 yr. olds. And I still say we need to bombard them with the idea of an R rated director's cut for the grownups. You emphasis the fact that if they sell this R rated director's cut AFTER they've released all the many different DVD's they're gonna put out (look how many they've got going with NM) and they will only stand to make MORE MONEY!

That'll get their attention. But if the fans are going to do it, they've got to do it before BD commences filming. Once the film is in the can, they cannot go back and reshoot a more grown up version.

How does one organize such a campaign. I'm telling ya, if we want that more adult version of the story, we're going to have to request it...in droves.

This is the movie business and money talks.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @annie--we better make a complete list so we don't miss a sample--it could take a while--at least the collection--YUM

    ReplyDelete
  89. OK I'm a scientist, I am ready for the cloning, and would be happy to test drive the first clone. I know, I'm nice like that. LOL.
@ Teri- I'm still sad over the fact CW&IA is done, so the epi is still sinking in. Sniff Sniff. It may take me a few more reads to decide how I feel.

    ReplyDelete
  90. like the test drive idea--but we probably should try out the real thing so we know if the clone is perfect--just saying

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Teri & Wensdazzled - She finished it, I wish it kept going, because I loved it. It's a game I want to play.

@Annie - When Angie and I have Rob in "protective custody" we will be able to get all the samples we need.

@Nik - re: BAFTA's. Kind of thought that, too. They would have definitely announced it if he was going to present. Looking forward to the after party pics. =)

    ReplyDelete
  92. @Haystackhair and wensdazzled ,LOL
It says test drive and I read sex drive :D You see where my mind is.

Definitely have to test the real deal and examine it closely so don't miss the important details. We don't want a defect clone.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @CL pics too(when collecting the samples)??? LMAO
Don't forget to every important detail such as his fingers ;)

    ReplyDelete
  94. numerous testing will be required--on the original and the clone just to make sure we get all the "kinks" worked out :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. @wensdazzled, I think the NBs would pay you extra to leave those "kinks" in...

    ReplyDelete
  96. That should be "We NBs." Full disclosure and all. ; )

    ReplyDelete
  97. the Kinks need to stay--but we will need to know ALL of them-just so we know what kind of product we are dealing with :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Nik, your idea has merit. Way back when, a group of XF fans took out an ad (actually we did it more than once) in both LA Times and one of the Hollywood trade papers.

That would be one way, sort of a "Dear Summit", re Breaking Dawn's R Rated Version. Ad would be paid for by donations (from we fans) and signed same.

Granted, that's a bit "old school".

Could simply rally the Rob (and dare I say, Kristen) blogs and then do the same thing electronically, say submit the letter to Summit via Twitter?

I think it would be appropriate to include ages along with signatures---Summit needs to know we're, as you said, not all tweens.

Sorry if this makes no sense. Gwen's got a cold and her brain is fuzzy...

    ReplyDelete
  99. @Gwen - Yes, the NB's love the kinks. LOL!

re: XF's!!! You know we share the love of the XF's. That's actually a great idea. Put ads in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter begging Summit not to PG-13 BD. Plus, a FB page, constant tweets to Twilight (Summit's Twitter page) and rally all the Twi-blogs.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @nik: I'd heard about Rob possibly doing the Water for Elephants movie, and I'm going to try to get a hold of the book to read. Aging Rob..that would be interesting to see, and yeah, if they do that with make-up and not CGI, that will be brilliant, and I'm sure a nomination would be in the works.

  101. I just finished Water for Elephants. I would love to see him as that character. He is such an intense, deep person (it seems) and we only get glimpses in interviews. I loved him in Little Ashes he has a depth of skill that are just being shown

  103. Yeah Denise,

I was thinking more along the lines of Little Big Man as oppose to Benjamin Button. Button was done almost exclusively with CGI, but not Little Big Man. That was made back in about 1970 I think (before all of this high falutin' technology) and Dustin Hoffman (who was about 32) was aged to (I think) 103. With make up only. They did the same thing with Cecily Tyson and The Autobiograpy of Miss Jane Pittman. She played a child born into slavery who lived to see the Civil Rights Act passed over a 100 years later. Again, no CGI, just make up and damn good acting. And in all three of these cases, the men were nominated for Oscars and Tyson won an Emmy.

I hope they let Rob do as much of it as he can. I imagine as an actor, that would be his preference too. Imagine taking that gorgeous 23 (well, he'd be 24). Imagine taking that gorgeous 24 year old face and making it ancient? That's the sort of challenge an actor lives for.

Gotta run. RL is rearing it's ugly head.

    Laters baby.

  105. Rob could play both parts in Water for Elephants. i would think he would fight to do it. most of the story is based on the younger charater. it would be something to see him as the 93yr. old man ticked off about the food in the nursing home.

  106. * I just posted this in another thread*

OMFG!! My heart is beating really fast...I was on my way out to take a walk over my lunch hour and walked by the news stand in my building (Chicago) and saw the DETAILS with ROB on the COVER!! I literally gasped, turned around and jogged back to the elevator and then to my desk to get some money.
*deep breath* I won't be getting any work done this afternoon!!!

    What a wonderful Wednesday surprise!!!

  108. One last thing...

Like Little Big Man, Water For Elephants is the story of a very old man in a nursing home looking back on the adventures of his youth. It's an amazing story. I highly recommend it to all (even if Rob wasn't up for the role).

Also, word has it that Reese Witherspoon will be playing his leading lady. Another older actress for Rob. I think Reese has got 10-11 years on him. Funny, she played his mother (in a very brief and deleted scene...you can see it on the DVD), in Vanity Fair.

Crazy business. Mother and son in one film. Lovers in another.

    Okay. This time for real.

    Laters baby

(go read MotU for the reference AND just because it's the best damn fic you can imagine)

  111. Remember Me is going to be good! I can't wait till it hits the theaters. Are Cinema doesn't always get things right when they come out. I hope this isn't the case with Remember Me.
