@AP, definitely do not have a problem with MORE Edward! LOL. Understatement. Just wondering why he wasn't already massively present in the first place... Especially after his NM absence.

Still LOL. It's the best book, therefore, it must be the best movie! (Gwen is, at times, very childish in her thinking.) ; )
Gwen, am chuckling at
"massively present." I think many would be fine if the movie was all Edward, with some Bella, of course, and that was it! David's not saying what he's putting back in - could have been more in the fight sequences, or segue bits. He had said already, I believe, that Edward was a very strong emotional presence in the film so I doubt it is anything major. Get the feeling he's been getting a lot of 'what about Edward' tweets, maybe? lol
OT, just started this FF, it's only the first chapter, but it got me hooked, especially the last sentences. It's called Neon Moon by nosleep3, check it out.

Gwen, last mention as I really have to go: I think Summit actually got it about less repeat viewings for NM because less Edward/Bella. I really do...but crossing fingers all the same ;)
@Gwen Cooper: I read DS's Tweet about the having to do editing AGAIN as well... Since he tweeted that there was a first screening of the directors cut just a few days ago, my interpretation would be that the producers thought that there wasn't enough Edward in this first cut.
So no need to worry about Eclipse because of that tweet! Actually I guess it's rather a good thing if the producers finally understood that Robward is the most important part for the fans and that they have to change something because of that. Obviously they didn't really understand that fact when they did New Moon... but Taylor can never be a substitute for Rob!
I personally hope that Eclipse is going to be a little darker than NM and that it will get back some of that more indi-look Twilight had. NM was too ordinarily Hollywood-like for my liking. And hopefully there'll be A LOT of Bella&Edward romance! - I'm kind of afraid about Summit rather wanting to build up their new "stars" Xavier&Taylor than to really do the story justice and satisfy the fans.
I just want to say how breathtaking our Rob is..good God Almighty..he melts my heart always..sigh..wish I had a fellow Robsesser to go with me to see this movie..Bel Ami is gonna be hot..i dont care what kind ass his character will be..holy crap!
I have had a bad feeling about Eclipse, about the director and the Twi 3's tepid opinion of him, they were very careful, but I heard volumes in what they didn't say, the rapid filming (seemed to me), few photos or information from the set. Having said that, I had really high hopes for NM and Chris Weitz. The final product, uhm not so great. So as usually happens in my life, I'm thinking the worst, but hope to get pleasantly surprised, as I have often been. Fingers crossed. I will be reading the book again.
I think Rob is double jointed (that's what she said), that's why we can't make our fingers do what his does!!!

@suz thanks for the link now he's even more sexy and sweet in my eyes! but I'm not surprised! This is Robert after all and he is bringin' sexy back in all sorts of ways! LOL!

a) He's very elastic or
b) Because he's a pianist
