  5. Although I love the stills I think it'd be better if we didn't get any more; the movie will be a bit ruined like NM otherwise..

@dina, (I hope you'll read this!) we finally have a release date for RM in Greece, March 11th!!! At first the date was March 12th but it's been changed since movies are released only on Thursdays here! I'm sooo excited!!!

  15. I must confess: I am a teacher. Thank God Rob/Tyler is not in none of my classes because his stare and his hairy arm would kill me.
In the first picture Rob lends his sweet half smile to Tyler. He is a killer, isn`t he?
In the third picture: I already have seen this actress before. She is very talented and classy. Rob has chemistry with everyone.

    Remember Me will KILL me!!!!!

  16. omg so yummy! be still my beating heart. half smile, stare and hairy arms made my knees weak and i havent had a drink yet.
    tgif :)

  17. The actress in the shot with Rob is I believe, Kate Burton. The daughter of the late, great Richard Burton. And yes, she is a very fine and respected actor, most especially on the stage where she has received more recognition than for her work in films and television.

They sure have assembled a great cast here. And didn't Mr. Rob have a hand in that casting?

Yup. My gut tells me he's one day going to be a filmmaker himself. There's just this intelligence about the guy. He's going places and he's gonna draw his own road map. Brosnan and Lauer (Matt) hit on just that in their little chat the other day.

  30. Sexy. Hot. Gorgeous. Ridiculous, he is ridiculously handsome.

I won't make it out alive.

@LTavares2010 -- If he were in my class I would so try to have a teacher-student affair thing going on. I would be fired and arrested.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yeah. Kate Burton is a terrific and very respected actor. She works here and there in films (enough to be recognized), but her star really shines on the stage. And lets face it, most of the populace wouldn't know a superstar of the stage if they walked up and bit ya on the ass.

    Examples...
Brian Stokes Mitchell? Ever heard of him? He's only the greatest leading actor of musical theatre in America. But that won't get him too many People magazine covers, will it?

Audra McDonald? Yeah, people know her know because of that medical tv show she's on. But did you know she's one of the greatest stage performers in the world? She's a FOUR TIME Tony Award winner.

But...it's the stage. So, who cares? Sorry 'bout that. But once in awhile I gotta show the theatre stars some lovin' too.

    And lexie...
I don't remember any perfummy smells or anything (and I would have known because as tall as he is and as small as I am, with his arm around my shoulder, I was in rather close proxcimity to his armpit). No stinky. He just smelled clean (soap) and had that musky man smell...natural. I thought he smelled delicious and this was way before there ever was an issue about his 'scent.'

That was the most ridiculous pile of horseshit I ever heard. And it still prevails to this day. Didn't that reporter from London who just recently fell under his spell, had to comment that there wasn't any 'smell' to him? I swear, this is gonna follow him for awhile. I know you were making a joke Rob, but man, has it come back to bite you on the ass.

Live and learn darlin'...live and learn.

Oh. His lips are very soft and and his stubble was scratchy. Not like a brillo pad or anything. And even if it was, I'd sill let him scour me with it...

from head to toe (with a few pit stops in strategic spots...if you get my drift. And NB's that you are...I know you do)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yep, seeing the movie one still at a time. ; ) That said, Damn, Rob is freaking Gorgeous in these! LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  33. His beauty just kills me... Yep, that's right, I'm dead now...

I will be dead again when I see the movie...

But Summit, please, stop that. Those stills with Rob are gorgeous, but don't show us another movie before we see it on the big screen, please...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm gonna be moaning, sighing and making all sorts of noises in that theater come March 12th. so if you're in the same theater as me I apologize in advance :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Divinesally, don't worry, I'm sure you won't be the only one making such noises. This movie's gonna break our hearts...

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Butterfly, thanks lol...the movie is gonna murder us all. I've been stocking up on absorbent tissue for the last few weeks for all the jizz and tears.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I need new words to describe him. picture #1 - how can a man be beautiful while .....
    sorry, speachless here

I'll never make it thru this movie alone. I'll pass out over and over.

Wow! what madness! But Rob / Tyler is of legal age!
It is not illegal. As a dream is very good. I like your idea.

  42. Thanks for the stills, Kate! They are as beautiful as always.
Just discovered that even "Private practice" is going to pick up the twilight issue in their next episode
calles "love bites". Love the serie but don´t know what to think about that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I beleive he is in his father's office looking at some photos on the comp. The woman is I believe, Janeane, his father's secretary.

And I don't think I gave up any plot points there. No more so than seeing a photo of Tyler with a basketball and Ally walking around with a huge panda bear tells us that they're at a carnival. Or that his beat up face meant he got in a fight.

    ReplyDelete
  44. keely...

Because vampires are everywhere nowadays and all are jumping aboard that bandwagon.

And I hate it when some think of Rob as being part of that bandwagon. He's not. He didn't jump on board anything. The phenomenom oF Edward Cullen and the actor who plays him is what STARTED IT ALL!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. P.S.

Rob Pattinson ain't no band wagon jumper. If anything, he'd run in the opposite direction of a 'trend'.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Another P.S.

Now giving up the content of those photos he's looking at? THAT would be giving up a plot point.

    Don't do it. Please.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ADM ARE YOU THERE??????

I just read chapter 13 of Caravaggio and I am SOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING MAD I WANT TO KICK SOMETHING.

Didn't mean to CAP you I am just...ugh...seriously Edward what were you thinking.

There is a lot of truth in your words. I just wonder how far it will go...I guess thats why they call it an phenomenon.

  49. Teri,
LOL-don't you just want to take him & smack him and cut IT off???

    WHY????

    ReplyDelete
  50. Might as well face it, I am addicted to Rob still. ("addicted to love" by Robert Palmer running thru my head)

Will be peeking at these all day.
Now where was I? I know I meant to do something today? Go to work maybe....

    ReplyDelete
  51. @RPG I know right. My immediate reaction was I would have taken my heels off and poked his eyes out with them and hers.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Teri,
And in the mens room no less, really? Skank!

    ReplyDelete
  53. OMG John Stewart is so funny. Totally OT but some guy in NH at an Obama convention stood up to ask a question and his name was Dick Sweat. LOL LMFAO.

    ReplyDelete
  54. RPG I knew stupid Mens Room Skank. I love how the author describes her reaction to seeing Bella in the doorway and not Edwards.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Someone should total do that to Rob at the next comic con like come up with some weird first last name combo to get his reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  56. keely...

I think that once the Twilight Saga and the tremendous box office it's generating comes to a close, were gonna see this vampire craze begin to die down. Everything goes in cycles and this is just another one.

But with possibly three more films to go, I figure we've got another couple of years of it. If the films hold up (box office wise and I can't imagine they wouldn't), then hopefully the media won't sick of it before it concludes.

But a whole helluva lot of people are gonna be so sick of Twilight before it ends, that I'm glad (even though he's working like a dog) that he's doing other films in between. He's got to show that he's more than just Edward Cullen if his career is really going to take off beyond Twilight.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Teri, I knew you would need to vent. My heart hurt for hours after reading that. WTF

    ReplyDelete
  58. I know I just can't get my head around it...it seemed like he was making some progress and then bam. It does seem like though when Alice was helping Bella get dressed that she was kind of foreshadowing that something exactly like that could happen.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Speaking of Comic Con...

I don't think they're gonna be there this year. Eclipse is out in June and the Con is in July. Nope. Don't think they'll be back till 2011 with Breaking Dawn. And since that will be wrapping things up...it should be a BLOW OUT!!! And the fanboys will be sooooooo
grateful to get their convention back. Sorry boys.

    And RPG...
I'm switching computers ('cause this one's crawling slower than a snail's ass today) and I'm headed for your blog. I wanna tell you that ending I came up with.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Teri, you are making me think. I may need to go back and read Alice's part. Can't read the end again. It is too upsetting.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I hear ya lound and clear ADM too painful to read the end again.

I agree Nik unless comic con got moved up or they went to a different one than San Fran there probably will not be a comic con.

    ReplyDelete
  62. For example Boston and Phoenix both have comic con conventions prior to eclipse coming out.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Nikola6: That´s the good thing, you know it must end one day. And our kid seems to be clever, bringing himself in the postition of an producer and choosing rolls that seem more intresting than Edward Cullen could ever be (no offence at all here.

    ReplyDelete
  64. nik--I think you are partly right about the craze dying down, but there are other factors that may keep it up. If you noticed the immense change with Harry Potter, the literary and film worlds have been overwhelmed with magical and/or mystical and/or alternative worlds and characters. When the real world gets overwhelming and scary, and not just to kids but certainly to kids, an escape is needed, not just book or movie of the real world, but book and movie of unreal worlds. There are so many series out now about magical kids, partly because of the financial success of Harry Potter, and partly because of the reason behind the success-- the need for alternative worlds that include empowering people--esp younger people. The vampire twist on that is still alternative, but more covertly (and sometimes overtly) sexual in nature, and so those who need an alternative world for escape, but something more than magical empowerment, may still crave for vampire stories.
I personally am not a fan of vampire stories--I loved twilight saga for the love, and the emotional issues.

  65. @Solas - I always love your comments they make me smile.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @solas:
I hope you don´t mind me answering. But I promise that this will be my last post today ;-)
I think that you have a point by saying that kids (and adults as well) do try to escape in other worlds. And also we all did that as kids, there is a change in that matter and there are a few things in our social structures that assists that as well (lonelyness for example). I´m really sorry, that I´m a bit in a rush right know, cause I would love to say a bit more to this.

Another point for me, why I used to like Harry Potter or LOTR is that it is totally amazing, to the how they transform this books into pictures you can actually see, even if they can´t compare to your own phantasie. We didn´t had that before. Technic made huges steps her.

Wish you all a great evening, Kee.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @Divinesally-I don't know if you'll check back in here, but I'm LMFAO at this: " I've been stocking up on absorbent tissue for the last few weeks for all the jizz and tears." Bwahahaha!!

jizz and tears, that's gonna make me chuckle all day, thanks! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Guess I should clarify there.

I don't mean that vampires are going anywhere. They've been a part of damn near every culture on earth for centuries. What I meant was...

This current 'media' craze. This current mentioning of vampires in situations where the mention of them isn't warrented at all. I've heard there's more than one show on tv that's doing episodes about vampires.

We'll always have stories about vampires; books, movies, etc., but I do believe that when the grandaddy of them all -in terms of this current resurgence (sp?) of them- Twilight, has been put to bed, alot of THIS is going to calm down. Just an opinion.

And RPG...got waylay. Next door neighbor's pup is having puppies and she needed a hand. Gonna go have a smoke (and try not to get rained on) and then...I SWEAR TO GOD! I'M COMING TO YOUR HOUSE!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Teri- :-) glad to make you s mile. :-)

Keely--Why would I mind your answering? I write here for dialogue, not dictation. :-) I LOVE to hear other views, ideas, agreements, preceptions, experiences. I think this is one reason we are all fans of Rob--he is a person who thinks, and a thinking person's artist.
I was thinkng more about escapes after i typed what i did before, and realized that back in the day, so many people escaped via drugs. The few who were straight got into the LOTR books, and many of both straight and drugged got into eastern religions.
I would far rather people escape into books than drugs. we just need to a build/rebuild the real world enough so people have a place to touch down in after their escape, so they don't take permanent residence in the phantasy worlds.
