*New* "Remember Me" Clip "At The Funfair"

You Tube Version

There are only 18 days left until Robert Pattinson's newest flick, "Remember Me," hits theaters (and for those of you keeping track at home, that's also 18 days until the very first "Eclipse" trailer premieres), so in order to keep your RPattz buzz going, MTV News has gotten access to an exclusive clip.

In the scene — which seems to take place either just before or right after Emilie de Ravin and Rob argue over dessert at an Indian restaurant (they're wearing the same clothes) — the "Twilight" star tries to woo his lady love the good old-fashioned way: by winning a carnival game

There's a catch however: Robert's Tyler isn't very good at winning carnival games. Or, at least ones that involve shooting hoops. After several attempts to prove to Emilie's Ally that he can win her the giant panda she has her heart so set on (funny — we would've thought she preferred polar bears), he finally finds a way to beat the system.

"I won!" he exclaims with a big smile as they walk away from the booth. The thing is, though, he didn't quite secure the prize in a, uh, legit way. To find out how he really ended up winning Ally her panda

  27. Oh another clip... I want a giant panda too! But why do I feel that I've seen the whole film already? I ca'nt resist and I've watched them all now. But it's too much isn't it? Surely another trailer would have been enough?

  28. That's the first thing I thought too...

    "I'M DOMINATING"

Rob honey, maybe you need to find another sport.

On second thought...keep playing basketball. It's just too damn funny.

  29. Very funny Solas...

    About the DNA marker stuff.

And very true too. They'll drive in circles for 12 hrs. before stopping to ask.

  30. I love Robler's face when he says 'I won!'
Guys always have to win. Add that to the Y chromosome thing too :)

  31. BTW...

I have a little beanie baby panda bear. About 3 inches high.

Few months back, I took my niece to Hollywood Blvd. to do the tourist thing; Graumans (the hands and feet in the cement joint), the Kodak (the Oscar walk), across the street to Kimmel's (to see if she could see a star or two coming out), etc. And one of the street performers came up to me and took my hand (made me think 'okay buddy', but I went along) and he reached inside his long coat and pulled out this little panda for me.

Ever since I read this script last spring, I have carried this story with me. I just cannot shake it. Without giving anything up, my head is just 'there.' And when this guy handed me a panda, I immediately thought of Ally and the panda that Tyler...uh...won for her. So I've kept it and for some reason that I can't quite figure out, that little panda has become important to me.

Don't know why I'm telling you this except I always thought of all the little critters he could have given me, it was a panda.

    Strange.

I cannot wait to see this movie -April 2nd in UK :(
I keep watching all the clips and cannot get enough!!
    U read the script?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Don't you think it was interesting, character-wise, that he apparently paid off the guy at the stand to get what he wanted, when that was one of the traits he resented about his father>?
That he was fighting to assert his self and his own abilities, to stand on his own, but ultimately had to pay the guy?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yep, winning is a marker on the Y chromosome. That's one reason we won't ahve peace until women are running the world. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  35. Panda? In the script it was a purple elephant!

This scene is just precious... he wants to impress her...

Thank You a Gazillion for sharing this darling clip! ☺

    Haley
Thank You for pointing out the You Tube front page! ☺

    @Sissidelyon
ITA with you about Emilie's size. She's like this teensy tiny little Barbie Doll...who gets to play with one Drool Causing "Ken"! ;)

  37. This is such a cute clip. Found myself smiling when Rob/Tyler smiles. But then Rob just makes me smile generally.

  38. Hey ladies, can we remember the SPOILER ALERT + 10 spaces thing, please. Thx.

  39. Dessert First...

Yes, I have read the script but I don't have a link to it as I didn't read it online. If you want to know what happens, please drop me an e-mail and I'll tell you.

    nikola6six6@gmail.com

What I'm going to say next, is not giving ANY of the particulars of the story up, but I suppose some (who want to know ABSOLUTELY nothing) could take it as a spoiler. So...

"SORTA" SPOILERISH WARNING!!! (although I wish you all would read it)

I'm of the opinion that when it comes to this particular story, being prepared FAR out distances a movie being spoiled for you. This is not just another movie and I wish I could explain how, this is not just another movie. I think that those who go in completely unawares, are going to walk out with their guts in their hands.

And for me to say this when I know how the dust gets kicked up around here whenever anybody talks about this, please you have to believe that to risk having people yell at me or contat Goz, that I'm really thinking of you all. You have NO IDEA what you're walking into.

I've had many people e-mail asking me to tell them and I have and all of them have been shocked and stunned and were grateful that they now knew. That they weren't going to walk into that theatre 'cold.'

By knowing, you have a choice in whether or not you want to see this. By not knowing, your choice has been taken from you. And even with Rob in it, if some of you knew, you would choose...no!

And I think everyone should have a choice.

  40. RPG...

In the script I read, it was a panda and Tyler said something about winning her 'that big furry bastard.'

The script I read was not online. It was given to me by someone on the 'inside' and I was told that it was the frozen script. Meaning, it was complete. Finished (which doesn't mean that actors don't fiddle with their lines afterward. They do. And somthing tells me that Rob is a major fiddler. Well, he is a writer).

I don't have the script anymore as I had to hand it back pronto just as soon as I finished. Fortunately, this friend trusted me not to go out and make copies. And he knows I'm too stupid when it comes to technology, to leak it online. It meant alot to me that he trusted me with this. Had I done something 'wrong' with it, he could have been in heaps of trouble. I wouldn't have given him up though.

  44. @Dessert First...

Okay. But just so you know, I'm moving in a couple of days (closer to the beach...YAY!!!) and I'm not sure about my wireless connect. It may be ready to go or could take a bit longer. So I may be offline for a bit. If you send me an e-mail and I don't respond right away, hang on. I will get back to you...before this film opens.

  45. Sent you e-mail so get back when you get time
I think we have nearly the same name LOL

  46. Aaah, Rob being "athletic," always a trip! I think he may have improved marginally from his "I'm totally dominating" performance in How To Be, but ONLY marginally! LOL Lord, he is too adorable. *swoons again*

  50. Solas,
.."peace until women are running the world..." Will we ever know?

    Ellie,
I noticed the raised eyebrow more than anything else in this clip. I know a raised eyebrow can get old fast but he should do it a bit more. His is oh so wonderful.
Do it again, Rob, do it again. (Damn, I'm quoting Drusila again.)

People were wondering about tiny Emilie. Robert, as many of us know, is 6'1", -nice.
Emilie is a little one, measuring up at 5'2".
I wonder what he'll look like beside Uma Thurman, who is 5'11". With heels, she might even look taller. That'll be a change.
Side note: Uma is also a Taurus.

  51. Jesse, i don't know but i fervently hope for it. :-)

  52. Solas,
I agree, but I think we have a long way to go.
And, interesting comment about Tyler doing what he criticizes his father for. Have not read story myself, but I am sure you are right.

I have been posting on a number of other threads this morning (2:24 am here now) and wondered if others were following still. I seem to be the last, or one of, to post often; it is a timing thing I guess.

Solas, I am interested in your take on my comments on another thread (RM TV spot -Understand), which I posted at 1:52, regarding photos. Check it out.

  53. Haha oh Rob! Can't help but think of How To Be when I see you holding the basketball. Tyler is awesome! Cute scene but Emilie seems to be playing Ally to be really bitchy and once again, I was not impressed by her. Her accent doesn't sound right and just her overall mannerisms are really putting me off. I really wish we had clips show casing Caroline or something regarding Tyler's family dynamics, just to show that Tyler and Ally are not the only storyline in the movie.
