He really looks younger than 17 here. I remember a boy, from back in the day, who looked an awful lot like this (except he had strawberry blonde hair and goldwire frame glasses) at age 15. I found him on facebook; He doesn't look as good at 50, he is either bald or shaved his hair ;-). But, he is goodlooking for a 50 yr old.

Gozde-thank you so much for these pics. Truly, it brings back all the emotion I first felt when I got hooked on Rob. Gives me butterflies in the stomach,too. I couldn't even begin to pick a favorite, but seriously I do love Rob's look when he and KS are in Edward's bedroom and E tells B "You really shouldn't have said that". That sexy smirk/smile gets me every time. There's not a shot where he doesn't look good!

ReplyDeleteThese pictures are just..awesome! I smiled at every one of them and when I picked one as my favorite (Rob's wide smile), I would change my mind. I think the energy of the film shoot and the giddy mood of them all is captured, especially Rob's, he seems to be real happy and into it (despite the yawn!). He had no clue what was about to happen to his life.

Ok, I feel stupid for asking this. What's going on with the old fashion clothing and what are they trying to dig up? Are they from deleted scenes or something. I have the Borders dvd and I admit that I still haven't watched everything in the set. I don't know why I haven't because I got it the day it was released but, for some reason I just haven't.

I was interested in Marna post about how much older they look in New Moon. I didn't like Rob's makeup in New Moon. It was much pastier and unnatural looking. In Twilight the make up artist let a little of his beautiful natural color shine through. In New Moon is was deathly white, particularly in Italy. I suppose that was to show the pain and stress he went through while separated from Bella, but I really liked the make up better in Twilight.
ReplyDeleteIn response to Suz, I agree completely. I purchased Twilight an watch it over and over when I really need a Rob Pattinson fix. New Moon I saw once in the theater the first week after it was released but was so disappointed in the focus on Jacob and the lack of Edward/Bella that I have no desire to see it again. I may buy it just for the scenes in Italy and beyond. Just the scene when Bella and Edward reunite and that fantastic kiss might be worth the cost of the DVD.
ReplyDelete@Mary, re the period clothing, it was a flashback scene to when the Cullens first encountered the Quileutes and made the pact. The scene was maybe 5 seconds in the movie? (Gwen wished it was longer!)

I mean I loved how he did seem to be in love with his life back then and now he's gotten such a dose of reality I think even his beautiful spirit has gotten a lil biht more watchful...regreatably and I'm 46 by the way...love him sooooo much, that most days I look at him to chase away the blues of starting over and having to move to another state to get any peace from my ex who is all kinds of f**ked up and done the same to our lives. Yep! Rob Pattinson has come along at just the right time and yes Gozde I was hatin' the drought! Thanks so much for all the new pics and yes me too, me too! I love the prom Robward! He is at once all things bright and beautiful and right with the universe isn't he? so incredible a man as well as a human. Love walking on this planet now just knowing he is strolling somewhere all happy and smiling and being Rob! ;P

I completely understand what you're saying. When something bad happens in you life and it seems that the whole world is suddenly on your soulders, you need some comfort, something to save you and make you forget your problems, for maybe just a minute, sometimes even that is enough. :) And you found that sweet escape in him. Sometimes I feel like that too, even though, I can't compare myself to you, 'cause my biggest problems now are college or loneliness sometimes, or even finding myself, but still... I've found my sweet escape too.
Sorry about the interference, I'm not trying to be some kind of angel on earth here or clever adviser I just wanted to say that I understand. :)
