I'm completely bewildered by Robert fans who would want to hate on his girlfriend, no matter who she is. If you really care about him wouldn't you want him to be happy? Fans who hate Kristen would hate any woman Robert dated. The thing is, that's such a bizarre attitude. I want to use the word selfish, but it doesn't seem particularly relevant. Robert will never be yours to possess. You know that, right? He's actually a person of a huge amount of integrity, and would never date a groupie. I have to admit, it was hard for me to accept the fact that they are dating. I wasn't a big fan of Kristen's in the beginning because of the rude comments she made about the Twihards. Of course, some of them are true, have to give her that. Since Robert likes her, I have grown to like her too. I just want him to be happy, keep making movies, and hopefully put out a CD one day.
In my opinion, they have shown that they are together, but their statements have been misleading.
I think the mistake that they both made was discussing their personal lives to begin with. Kristen should have kept her relationship with Michael Aragano private. I think Robert was just being himself when he stated in the beginning that he was single but his truthfulness has backfired and since they didn't have a problem discussing their personal relationships in the beginning, or lack there of, most of the public is wondering why would they clam up now.
I think both of them have learned a valuable lesson. Some things you shouldn't devulge.
So, since most of us are in agreement that they are indeed dating, we can go back to discussing Robert's movies. Who knows he may end up marrying her or he may not. Only time will tell.
There are too many comments to read before I post this, but you can bet they WON'T be taking anymore pictures with fans.
I, for one, am extremely happy that they haven't clarified the nature of their relationship. We would miss out on all of this entertaining speculation! I love reading these posts!

I never liked Kristen as an actor before Twilight. I have watched almost every movie she has been in (Panic Room,Cold Creek Manor,Adventureland,etc.) and I thought her emotionless and one dimensional face has killed the movie.She is not a good actress at all.However,the success of Twilight has nothing to do with her performance,it's the books that gained people's interest and adoration. I guess there weren't too many child-teenage actors out there at the time and she was kind of one the few.Consequently,she got jobs.I think Dakota,Taylor,Ellen Page and the little girl in Case 39 the movie, are much much better and serious.They know how to speak to the press as well, even though they are younger than Kristen.Remember how people suddenly liked Robert(to whom they have petitioned against in the beginning)seeing him in the trailer and reading Meyer's comments about Robert in her blog? I admit that he is very charismatic and good looking. Also he's got great sense of humor and is modest. So i like him as a celebrity.However,Kristen's personality is quite the opposite.It takes forever for her to complete a sentence in interviews and yet she is vulgar and arrogant towards fans. More like a spoiled brat.Don't worry I am not jealous about her,however, i personally would like to see Robert with girls like Camilla,Megan Fox maybe,Natalie Portman etc.They've got class and he seems to understand and appreciate women with class. But seeing these pictures , I believe they are together.I've got no doubt there and out of many other classier ladies out there he chose her whether for a long or a short term.That is the fact.I have always seen Robert as this smart,intellectual bookworm,who was raised by a very decent family. Some of us really like and admire him and DO want him to be happy. However, I will give SOME limitations for that--i want him to be happy in a way that is good for him, not to do something harmful (like smoking, drinking to the point of slurred speech, not taking care of his health!!!).
