Robert Pattinson Footage From France

According to ([info]mayfrayn) in [info]lion_lamb this is a promotional video for the release of New Moon DVD in France.

I change my "Rob should NEVER be dubbed over" statement to "Rob should NEVER be dubbed over unless it's French"...Robert Pattinson speaking French is HOT even if it's not his voice :)

    I m not agree with you godze about the french voice! I hate the french version of New moon or even twilight, they seem so dumb! but maybe its because I m french!
    otherwise I prefer Rob speaking in french with is cute accent! that awsome lol!

    You would think that with all the computer generated content tiday, it would be possible to alter the French dub so it sounds more like the original actor, kind of put the audio track through the Robish filter...

    I can understand what you mean Hermione, I'm not French, I'm Italian and I hate the Italian version of the 2 movies. When I went to the cinema to see NM, it was a great disappointment: after all those trailers, footages, clips in English, hearing the Italian voices was miserable, they really seem so dumb!

    @ Hermione: At least his french voice doesn't sound as bad as his voice does in some other dubbed version. Of course, none of those voices sounds as good as his own.

    Hummmm... sorry... but I will have to disagree with you Godze...
    I really really love his "real" voice... and I so hate that French voice they use... it seems so wrong.... lol (I couldn't even watch the trailer in French... I had to stop before the end...lol...)
    but what is EVEN better than him speaking , well English... it is him, speaking French... and OMG... with his little accent... I JUST could die...

    As a French I hate dubbed movies, I see all movies with subtitles. It's much better. No dubbing can replace an actor's own voice, it's part of his personality, think Bogart, Brando. Rob's own voice all the way. I like it when he says a few words in French though, and when he tries to say his name the French way "robear" and he can't because he is so used to the English pronounciation. I prefer the Englsh pronounciation too.
