The original of this song was from Roxette and it was on Pretty Woman"s soundtrack (1990) twenty years ago I think, so it's old... really old... LOL...
Thats the song off of Pretty Woman. Every womans heartbreak anthem. I sang this song after I broke up with ALL my boyfriends. then I sang "Hit me with your Best Shot!" by Pat Benatar. or "Bump and Grind" by R kelly.

Ahh, ok--thanks. I guess that imght explain why they did not use it even though it fits so beautifully; they wanted all new music for the New Moon soundtrack.
I don't think I was listening to music or watching movies in that time period (1990). And I don't like Julia Roberts at all, and don't like the movie premise/description either, so I haven't seen Pretty Woman.
sigh. can't see from work, unless there is a myspace version or a .wmv somewhere. Just have to wait to get home. Of course, I would much rather cry at home than work. LOL.

Siss--I didn't see ANY movies in the theatre, except for Raiders of the Lost Ark and old Disney movies that were playing again, from about 1980-1992, and even after that not much. Once I got a VCR I did see some things I missed, just not Pretty Woman. My big sisters loved it, but then they love Julia Roberts.

So, this 3 minute video was more sad than the actual movie. They should have done something like this in the movie to make his departure more touching. I didn't cry during the movie.
