This is a bit off topic, but I noticed his shirt and remembered he was wearing this during an interview with Rachelle Lefevre during the Twilight promos. I knew I saw that emblem before...and what do you know...my husband has one in his closet! Its from an Air Force squadron from Arizona! I can only wonder how he got one of these!

It will all have been arranged ages ago, but I'm sure I read that he has a 5 day gap in production to do his Remember Me promotional work. He will do editorial stuff way in advance but I think he will do other promtional stuff, Summit will require it of him anyway :D

This was a great tease, but I don't think Rob is going to be front & center, out there promoting RM, definitely a little bit, especially with his producer credit. I'll take whatever he does. Rest assured, there will be promotion for Remember Me. This is a very important film for him as it is his first starring role, post Twilight. The magazine interviews and covers are done and just waiting release and they can interview him for tv (Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, etc.) via sattelite from London or Budapest. And yes, he can attend a U.S. premiere...if they hold it in NY (which would be the logical place as this is where the story takes place and would only take him 5 hours to get there from western Europe) and he could then do the NY morning shows and possibly The View this time (as he just did Regis&Kelly in Nov. Will probably pass on Letterman as he just did that one as well).
When an actor has a film coming out while he's filming another, it is worked into the schedule ahead of time to give him a few days off to go promote it and Rob would require (including travel days), probably 3-4 days.
As for the Oscars...if the Academy asks, he'll feel obligated to be there but would be excused because of filming in Europe. As much as I'd like to see him all tuxedoed up again, I'm thinking he shouldn't be showing up every year. This past year? Yeah, sure. He was the new sensation in town and it made sense to have him there as it was his initiation into the big leagues of show business. But this year? Nah. There's no reason really. You want his appearances to be special and they can't be if he shows up year after year. I hope he waits.
And once again...I don't believe Rob has a problem with the technology. I believe he has a problem with the way that people use and EXPLOIT the technology, which is why he doesn't have his own page and why he's railed against Twitter. He cannot go anywhere in public because some 'twit' (oh the irony) has to get on her phone and splash it all over that he's shown up. Then he has to leave.
THAT is what is pissing him off. Not the technology but rather, how it's used.
Oh. And I seriously doubt this film is going to start filming in March. That is over a month away and they've already been in pre-production for a couple of weeks. This is not the kind of film that requires six or more weeks of pre-production for the actors. Uma Thurman is already in London and she wouldn't be if filming was over a month away.

A tiny comment: Why do Rob's eyes always look dark in videos and in TV interviews? We've established on good authority that his eye color is gray/blue but that never comes across, at least on my screens. I find it disconcerting. Is there some lighting that make them see that way. I assume he's not wearing contacts!

Darn kids, how dare they interrupt mommy's time Robsessing. Don't they know? Mommy needs this time with the other man in life.
Okay hon. I can tell you here real quick. Well...real quick for me that is (pack a lunch. make yourself comfortable).
I went to find this woman that I'd met earlier in the day. Because she was waiting in the autograph line, she didn't get into Hall H to see the panel. I found her in the hallway after the autograph session and asked her how he was in there because I thought he was a kinda wreck inside that hall. He eventually settled in but at first, that kid couldn't string two sentences together. I remember looking around that screaming, insane room and thinking...'can't anyone of you see that he's scared to death?' But no. Nobody seemed to be aware. From that moment to this, that boy took ahold of my heartstrings and he has yet to let go. So...
I was wondering how he was and she said that he was just fine. Then the actors started coming out and suddenly, there was Rob. He came out the door and I don't know why but he walked the few steps over to me and this other woman and asked us if we'd had fun today. The other woman could only mumble and shuffle (ya know, the ol' tongue tied two step) and so...I did something I would never normally do. I put my hand on a stranger.
He was standing right next to me and I reached around and lightly put my arm around his waist. He stiffened up just slightly but then I looked up at him and asked him...'and how are you? how are you handling all of this today?' He visibly(sp) relaxed and put his arm around my shoulder. He told me that is was 'scary.' And so we talked a bit about the perils of fame. I told him that I'd been born and raised in Hollywood as my parents were in the business and that I'd seen more than a few tragedies involving people who'd had a bout with that business. I told him that Hollywood was about to toss him into the deep end and I hoped he was anchored to something or else he could be drug under. He seemed to really listen to me. He didn't say alot. He just looked very intently into my eyes. There was an intensity to this encounter because of what he'd just gone through (having his eyes yanked wide open as to what was waiting up ahead for him) and because of the things I was saying him.
The other woman (and for the life of me, I cannot remember her name), didn't say a word. Then he said he had to go because he had some interviews to do. He thanked me, then said goodbye and as he did, he reached down and kissed my cheek. It startled me a bit because I wasn't expecting it. I didn't even have time to kiss him back. But I do remember his stubbly cheek against my smooth one. He was lovely.
I left San Diego that day knowing that I wanted to know more about him. And he hasn't disappointed me yet. My instincts about him were correct. He's a good one.
I know I joke around with FILTM and I do, but truthfully, I adore more than I should. More than I should someone who I do not actually know.

Well. I'm ashamed to say that on occasion, I lie about my age...because I can. I can get away with 30-35 but I am in fact, 10 years older than that. I say ashamed because I don't think it matters a damn how old someone is and attraction between two people is attraction and again, their age is meaningless AND I'm always going on an on about how women only get better as they get older and yet, here I am fibbing about it. I gotta stop doing that. It's hypocritical. But I'm human too and no one wants to think that because of their 'number' that they are now expendable or no longer desirable. And that 'number' does so much to sway people's perception. Admit it, doesn't early 30's sound 'hotter' than early 40's? Yet I can say without hesitation, that I am more beautiful today at this age than I ever was in my early 20's as I am finally beginning to grow into my face.
So then. I'm a cougar who can lie and get away with being a puma.
OT, but did anybody else get an alert for HA chapter 29? I clicked on the link, & there's no chapter 29 there, & it's not there if you check directly either. Just hoping it's a real alert & something is wrong with the story & not that I just got conned into clicking on a virus.

Agreed. It can be a drag to be pulled out of character to have to go off and 'shill' another film. However...he's a pro and it's amazing how they can step in and out of their characters when they have to.
I think alot of people think of Rob as some sort of method actor because of his going off to Portland and isolating himself from friends and family for two months before Twilight began filming in order to get into Edward's 'isolation'.
But he's not going to go to such extremes with every role. He didn't with New Moon and he's even said that what he did with the first Twilight film was just an 'experiment.' And that's what alot of acting is...it's experimenting. What works with building one character, won't work with building another.
He'll be fine when he has to leave the set and he'd better get used to it because he'll be doing it more times than not throughout his career.

Marna, if you check back-she did have a chapter 29 listed, but it wasn't really the new chapter, she was just clarifying the one-shot that she wrote for the Help Haiti fundraiser...some readers were upset and thought that she was messing up the storyline, and she was explaining that it wasn't actually connected to the story. And now today I see that she removed it for whatever reason.
But, it was there and now it's not, it's not a virus-just a confusing non-update. ;) Did I just make it worse? Hope that helped. LOL

But if it is directed towards me, then I must say that I don't think I said anything deep lol, I am simply assuming that we will be getting snippets because that's the way it seems they will be doing it, releasing a small vid for every question Robert answers.
I highly doubt that Robert will just answer one question for this RM facebook interview stuff they did, when they asked the fans to send in their questions.

Marna, yeah, ADM said that a few FF's that she's reading updated and she didn't get the alerts. So they must be having some kind of glitch or something. I don't get updates (just check obsessively, lol) so I didn't know that there was another alert sent.

He wouldn't remember me in a million years. Rob is going to meet more people each year of his life than most people will in their entire lives.
I don't know why I was standing there at just that particular moment. I don't know what made him walk over to us. What I do know is, that earlier that day I saw a frightened young man and I KNEW what was about to happen to his life (and it did) AND I just simply was not intimidated or nervous around him. Maybe because before that day, I didn't have a clue as to who he was? Maybe because I was older than him? Maybe because I wasn't looking for anything from him? I don't know. All I knew is that he had somehow grabbed ahold of my heart and I was now frightened for him. As I said, I grew up in this town and I've seen and heard too much (things that the public doesn't even have a clue about).
But I'm not frightened for him now. He's handled himself beautifully this past year and I think he's going to be just fine. Oh, the papps are driving him nuts and the scrutiny could end up destroying his relationship with K (and if he truly does love her, then yes, that will be heartbreaking for him), but my gut says he's going to have a good life because he's somehow got that little head of his screwed on straight. He's not going to let all of this destroy him.
As to why I reached for him that day (something that I would not normally do with a stranger)? I'm a maternal creature by nature and earlier that day I had seen him scared and unsure and I don't know...I suppose that maternal part of me wanted to comfort him in some strange way. I don't know.
It was a lovely moment I must say. One that I know will never happen again. He's too BIG now and I think I probably would find myself intimitated now. Especially in some huge, screaming crowd. If I could have another opportunity like that day, to just talk quietly for a few minutes, I'm sure I'd be fine with him. But as I said, that will never happen again. He's too insulated now to have an 'intimate' encounter with someone.
And that's sad. Everyone should be able to have those, but they've been taken from him. Sad indeed.

Yeah. Word of advice if you love HA---don't read the outtake. Trying to be as diplomatic as I can, but, honestly, it's gross and disgusting. Just really, really shudder-inducing. The bad kind. You are missing nothing but nausea.
Hopefully, I can forget it and still enjoy HA to the end.

I said something the other day and it offended you and you had every right to be offended. I went back and read what I said, and I did come across as shitty. I didn't mean it. That crack about going to join Team Taylor or something.
What I was trying to say -and I said it badly- was (and this is my opinion only), is that I think that Rob will take on many varied roles throughout his career, some heroic and some not so heroic. He will play the flawed screw up from time to time because from things he has said, those are the kinds of characters that he finds interesting. But I do apologize. Sincerely.

I'm not sure what I did to piss you off (talk too much? be too opinionated?), but I will not be baited into a public fist fight with you. Life is too damn short and I'm just here for fun. I know that I'm very opinionated and not shy about expressing them and maybe that's because I'm confident in them. When it comes to Hollywood, I do know a thing or two about the business but only because I grew up in it. I'm not saying that I'm an expert and that I know everything as I certainly do not. But I do know more 'insider' stuff than does the average Joe or Jane on the street. And I listen VERY CAREFULLY to what Rob says and yeah, I sometimes read between the lines and then...I form opinions. And that don't make them right. It just makes them mine.
And since I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you, might I suggest that you just ignore my posts? It's just a suggestion as I wouldn't dream of telling you to hold back your opinions. What I'm saying is, I am not going to get into anything with you. You can say whatever you want and if it's personal and bitchy towards me, I will ignore it. You wanna get silly and drool over Rob? Great. I'm your girl.
Just something to remember when reading the internet. People are just expressing opinions. Not the 'law of the land' or the 'word of god.' Just opinions. God, life is just too short to fight with strangers and what they think, that at the end of the day, don't mean a damn thing to your life.

Marna, check what EBT says on her A/N. That is what it is. I think she could have been clearer/firmer and not quite so blase. Maybe it was just me.
What she also doesn't say is that this isn't like a "normal extra/leftover outtake"---it's more like a train wreck/AU direction, given the story as it is. Very jarring, very OOC, very vomit-worthy. Again, to me.

Sorry that I'm a little late, but I feel I have to respond to your post about the adoration and how you met Rob. I totally understand what you're saying, when you said you are frightened for him, I have this feeling too. Everyday when I see him and think "O God look at him how beautiful he is" and with all those mixed up feelings of lust and such, I never can't escape the feeling of fear! I worry what would happen to him in that crazy world, maybe I shouldn't be feeling this way, but I do.
I hate when people see him as object, as just a good looking guy. He is a beutiful soul, very intelligent and a fragile human being as the rest of us!
He is NOT Edward Cullen- a perfect creature made of marble! And I know that all of you here know that, cause you're smart and that's why you're here! :)
