Jen I'm with you about the whole Rob's not a nun, but didn't he just recently comment on how he doesn't get the whole American "dating" thing?! How he thinks that if a girl goes out with a few guys in a given week then she's a "whore"? (ok maybe he didn't say that exact word but that's what was written). and I can't help but remember his shocked face at TL dating on Tyra! So maybe he's a one woman's man after all, like he explained (as the one similarity between him and Edward) in the press conference for Twilight in Rome?!
She's beautiful, but really, Robert has to be discerning who he dates now. Robert is not one to bask in the public spotlight out of his promotional duties, and he's not been the type to publicly date the way we see someone like Katy Perry do it, where she publicly makes a spectacle of who she is dating and talks about it,etc. That works for her great, but it's not Robert's style.
Robert is not going to court attention by publicly setting up dates with reality stars to make more headlines. Robert has been connected with more girls than just Kristen, and I'm sure some of them have been real hook ups. But they've always been under the radar, and the girl never publicly comments.
That's why this story seems suspect.
Dede--I mean more than anything, I don't buy that Robert has been alone for the last two years. I'm sure there have been girls he's dated under the radar, or hookups or whatever like any other guy his age who would be in college. I think the difference is Robert is very discreet about it, and doesn't share it publicly. Being a one woman guy could fall into that description.
As for his comments on dating, I think it goes more to the idea that to him, date sorta equals having sex and therefore he ties it more to relationships. So if a girl says she's dating a bunch of different guys in one week, he thinks it implies she's sleeping around a lot.
Whoever mentioned Katy is a perfect example. Last winter, media speculation was high Katy and Robert would be the next "it" item. Katy had been talking about wanting to date him in the press, and they had mutual friends who mentioned they would be a cute item. Katy and Robert even sat next to eachother and spent a lot of time talking at a mutual friends party they both hosted. The media went nuts thinking it was the start of something beautiful and Katy even commented on him afterwards as being her ideal.
And then...nothing. lol Seeing how she conducts her relationships in a very public manner makes the nothing understandable too. Katy is a fun girl and boisterous and I think that's just who she is--to share her relationships ina very public way. But Robert isn't like that, he wants to maintain a more private life.

yeah, he's hard to figure out to me too. I do think at this point though, given his sudden rise to fame, he's hunkered down in terms of who he connects himself to. He seems very leery of making friends and connections merely through his celebrity, and seems to hold his old pre-fame friendships with very high regard and loyalty. My take on him right now is that he knows many people want a piece of him, and not for the right reasons. And as a result, he's become less extroverted and hunkered down who he lets into his inner circle or not.
He hinted to this in Harper's Bazaar - that since becoming really famous, he's shut down more while Kristen's opened up a little more in contrast. At this point, I think he only relies on people whose trust he gained before all this firestorm hit him, and that's why people see him with kristen a lot(not commenting on whether it's romantic or not either). She's one of the few newer connections he's made before he struck it big, and he knows where her motivations lay.

Yea Jen I totally get the KS connection really! Camilla dated his bestie Tom Sturridge previously, she is one of his few friends he had once he moved to Los Angeles. They took a very publicized lunch one day which fed speculation. Some thing the publcized lunch was just to help Camille a little cause both were in Summit movies, Robert's movie Twilight had just turned into a hit and her upcoming "Push" movie was about to drop too. Who knows, they are definitely friends though. Maybe they dated too, I have no idea though on the romantic aspect.
Katy and him have mutual friends, and she still had a crush on him up at the VMAS this year. We all love Rob for his simplicity, a "real" down to earth person that we can relate to from his low self esteem to his joking personality. We love you Rob. Kristen we love you too for being the "real" in all ways. We all know Kristen rolls with the punches, she is a tough person and I am happy to know that nothing anyone says gets to her. Stay real Kris and Rob.

GOD!! do you guys think rob is a manwhore or something?? Rob seems like he is the kind of guy who doesn't just go sleeping around with everyone.. I think he is the kind of guy that focuses on one girl at a time.. and i think he is focused completely on one girl right now.. I think everyone knows her name but aren't willing to say it because for some reason they are in denial.. Im not a robsten nonsten or a crapsten fan.. but it is so OBVIOUS!! its like they are shouting it at me!! i cant deny it just like I can't confirm it.. but over the past months i have seen a relationship building and the arguments over it building.. You guys misunderstood me, when I said jealous I meant it as in because everytime he's not pictured with Kristen the shippers freak out. The same thing happened in the summer with Emilie and with Camilla Belle at the beginning of this year. Now this Lucie chick (which btw, I still don't know who she is exactly)is an attention whore and not as beautiful as Kristen and blah,blah,blah.....my point is this, it's childish to behave like that. If you look at just the quotes that she allegedly said, it doesn't seem to really infer what the nonquoted parts are saying.
I think it's a little unfair to take aim at Lucie based on a Daily Star article since ... a) The Daily Star are notorious for printing crap and printing crap in speechmarks that someone did not say and b) Agents will be willing to exploit any angle for their clients without direct input from their client themselves.
Lucie is obviously a talented and gorgeous woman, but why take it on her if it transpires that Rob's sister did get in touch ? Kristen is a beautiful girl but defending Kristen at the cost of criticising someone who is probably innocent in all this media crap is a little unfair. If she did say it then it's a little silly because she will be left looking like an attention-seeker but she's a young woman who is just possibly excited beyond belief at the thought of it. I doubt this story is 100% accurate but I'd rather wait and see what happens.

Uhmm I'm a little bit sceptical.... for a start she turned on the Christmas lights on December 12th - the UK New Moon event was on the 11th.... He was doing interviews the whole day and flew off to Spain that night. However if any of it is true she has now proven herself untrustworthy by blabbing his personal life to the press..... Just sayin'

Sounds to me like Rob's sister asked her to join a group of them for dinner. Doesn't strike me as a date.
I feel sorry for her. I bet that "Kristen Stewart better watch out" comment was a throwaway one made in the excitement of it all. One she didn't expect to get printed. She's very young and probably very green when it comes to the sneaky ways of the press.
My verdict - a harmless invite to a group dinner that's been blown out of all proportion.
