We've been getting a lot of emails about "Robert Pattinson starring in a Twilight Spin-off for TV". The rumors started with a $500 million deal and now it's 1.8 million per episode. Those are HUGE numbers, numbers that scream "I am full of crap!" :)
Since we are not Summit approved :) we couldn't confirm that this was all crap but Gossip Cop did and yes it is full of crap.

That would just be taking it too far! As much as I love Twilight, that would be insane!
I honestly believe that he should not play Edward again...I think he'll be running a risk of being typecasted. I know there's a nontwilight movie coming out next year but I just feel he will forever be known as the "vampire guy"...I agree with you Dahlia its insane!!!!!
Bad idea.....can't imagine he'd EVER agree to something like that!
What would've been great is Midnight Sun having been made into a movie instead of Twilight....

@Cindygal - Did you see the new poster for RM just above this entry? The camera loves Rob and he is simply the handsomest man in the world anyway. I've seen New Moon several times already and when I saw the new poster, I was propelled into the worship of Rob again. Can't wait to see RM.
I seriously doubt that he will be typecast. His talent, charisma, on-screen persona, and his charm have been effective in all his movies. He is going to be around for a very long time because he's in a class by himself. Because he's dedicated to being the best he can be, he will do everything possible to ensure he remains fresh, alive, vibrant, and superlative in what he does. His God-given yummy looks are not going to fail him either.
The man has it all now and he'll have it all when he's really 108.

I don't think Stephenie Meyer would EVER agree to that. It sounded like a load of crap from the start.
Sounds to me like someone jumped the gun and got confused. News about the FX deal for the package of movies, including the 4 Twilight Saga, broke recently and there were large. if not specified, figures for that. Somehow this got turned into a Rob story. They always do. sigh. lol
Birgit: Because we post negative stuff along the positive. Because when a TV Spot is on TV we post it here and Summit doesn't want them posted for reasons I can not understand. It's free promotion for them but they don't see it that way :)
We also post leaked pictures, which is ALSO free promotion.
It;s better this way, we don't have to censor ourselves :))
God I hope not!! That would trivialize the twilight Saga!
I think Rob is talented enough to not ever be pidgeonholed.
D67- Dark Side of the Moon is even better. I would love to see Midnight Sun completed, and then Dark Side of the Moon, and have ROb and Kristen et al do them as well, before they get too old.
I would also like, if New MOon will eventually be on TV, if they could fill in the holes at the end, with Bella doubting Edward's love and staying, until her epiphany, and Edward's horror and guilt at what his well meant decison did to her.
