It was around the Christmas time and it wasn't that cold. Compered with the tempreture where I live(sometimes -20 Celcius degrees in winter) it was almost hot for me,hehe.
Hi there. I'm back after a week in London. I did it!!! I 've stayed away of the blog for a whole week after a year of visiting this place like 10 times a day. Oh I missed you girls so much. I missed you Goz and Danni and Kate and all of you out there. Travelling these days is a feast for us robsessed. Boy he is on every single magazine. I was drooling endlessly on those magazines at the airport leaving Athens.He is universal, I am so proud of him like a mother-son thing. He was smiling at me from every german,engligh,france,american,russian,spanish,japanesse,polish, whatever name it magazine. A feast for the eye and a pain for the pocket.
London was a let down for my robssesion. No wonder he said he was not recognized at the airport. I thought that I would find all shorts of goodies to feed my need of him, but I found nothing I couldn't find in Athens. I got the new moon broad game which is preety good. My children brought me a book called blood rivals. It's half about Rob's biography and half about Taylor's. Some quotes there are very interesting. The funniest thing that happened to me was when I saw some women walking down Oxford street wearing masks with Rob's face on them. That was hillarious. Sorry for the long post but you are my extented family and I wanted to share my news with you. London is my for ever best place but is nice to be back with all of you.
He seems to be in love with every place he has visited he has a kind word for every country and you don't feel like he is PRing or something.That why we all love him so much.

I also find it very interesting that he was considering going to Portugal rather than London for the holidays.

Kate-I for one don't care how many times I see pics and videos w/Rob. Doesn't matter in the least if it's been viewed once, twice or even more. Never tire of the face or the voice, or the genuineness of Rob.
@ femroc: Rob had an upper middle-class childhood, he grew up in Barnes (which is anything but a poor London borough), went to a private school and speaks English with the proper accent.
Know what you mean - hardly any New Moon stuff in Nottingham UK - a meagre shelf of stuff at Forbidden Planet and one small window display at Waterstones - very disappointing.

I don't know if this has already been said, but watching him emote so much sincerity interview after interview exhausts me! Poor thing! How redundant that must seem to him and the rest of the cast. But I suppose that's what they're there for, right? Promoting the film and helping others to be excited about it as well. I loved the part where he talks about how much more complex his character is in this film. Mostly because he still seems so unsure about how to express himself without sounding too arrogant. He's so dreamy! :)

Good gracous! The poor child just endured a whirlwind tour of 7 countries in a week, 70 interviews a day, having to smile and be gracious and sign autographs and be dragged about from car to plane to hotel to car and back again, screams that deafen his ears and shake his body and bring on hyperventilation which he feels the need to hide, and someone thinks he is letting himself go??? Good for him!! I am not a fan of drinking, but he needs to let go! He NEEDS to not have someone pressure him about his dress or hair or beard. He isn't even allowed to cut his hair for crying out loud-- at least let him assert his self by dressing down and letting loose. SHeesh!
And if I knew it wouldn't embarrass him or upset him, I would absolutely look to get masks for a group of us and take turns on watch to hide him from paps by all of us wearing the same masks and getting him home safely.

Thanks-- I love the music I have and listen to it a lot, and I write and sing my own songs, but sometimes I am just itching to the point of irritability for something new and different. I like what I hear of Bobby Long; his music is just what I need to hear. I worry about stuff on utube; if it is legal, if he approves of our listening or not. (I don't want to be stealing.) I am waiting for a full album. I hope we will see one out soon. He is really excellent, just what I need to hear.

Intriguing and odd that you should ask me this, as I spend a lot of time learning and teachng about souls, from ancient and not so ancient texts especially of my people, and I am in the process now of writing a book based on some real events about an ancient soul who keeps coming back, with a mission.

I don't want the papz crap either. I am really distressed about it all. I am not kidding when I say I would like for us to set up a rotation watch and wear masks, and have him wear the same mask, and get him safely into and out of places with us all dressed/masked like that, frustrating the efforts of papz.
And as for their blocking and chasing cars!!! If there is not a law against that, there has got to be, and in the meantime there has to be a way to prevent them from causing any possble harm, G-d forbid.

Well, I am very proud of myself indeed; I actually took out the manual to the cellphone which I never use, and figured out how to take a photo of myself and mail it to thinkingofrob. I couldn't put my hands over my face and take the photo, so I made a sign and held it over my face.
OK, I took one..hope they put it up..I'll give yall a hint if they do..I have on a pink hoodie and I'm giving the big number 1 hand sign..LOL

this off the subject also i was watching harry potter the one with rob in it. kept having all these christmas commericals. so if rob and kristen are going out you think getting a present would be difficult. getting papped while trying to buy a present for each other. and then i thought so they made millions this year right so what kind of limit you think they said

I've been living in this country for so long that I always think of myself as a portuguese. Portugal is a wonderful country, in which you can find history (+ the 'old' and 'new' coexisting), culture, nature, beautiful places to go, good food, nice people... just perfect!

As for Respect Rob. Our stand has always been the same in the issue. Nothing has changed.
We have never posted something that would hurt Rob/disrespect him. We have never posted set locations etc. We have our own moral compass. We know everyone's heart is in the right place but I don't want to make a hypocrite out of myself.
We will keep doing what we always do :)

I would love for us all to think of more grassroots way to stop not only the paps, but also the twittering that is betraying where Rob is.
One way is to do mass emails to the sites of the ragazines that pay for the intrusive photos, especially photos taken in dangerous conditions.
Ooohhh, I fell in love with Portugal, too, when I visited it. The south and west coast (well the only ones) are amazing. The big cities, the people, the small aldeias, the vinícolas... so beautiful!
I'll go back next year (I hope). :)

Does anyone here know actual laws and parameters regarding papz? Someone here posted that California has a law coming up; am wondering what the parameters will be, how they will be enforced, and if any other states and countries are doing this. Do they want another Diana situation G-d forbid? And musician Jack Rose just passed away, may he rest in peace, of a heart attack at age 38, and of course it puts me in extra mother-worry mode. How much stress and misery might paps add to a lad who has some unhealthy habits already, G-d forbid. No matter how you look at it, the paps are trouble waiting to happen.
Ach--I just looked up the anti-papz laws and found they are not really worth much in public areas. So it is up to us to stop them. :-D
solas..according to law..i could stand outside in the street and take a pic into ur house of you doing personal things..because i'm standing on public ground and u left ur curtains and/or blinds open..i could go thro ur trash if u put it out on ur curb because ur throwing it away..u gave it up so legally it's not ur's anymore..it's the communities..there was a case all about this years ago when a neighbor took very personal pics of a married couple in there bedroom..they tried to have him arrested and couldn't..then they tried to sue him..needless to say..they couldn't even get the pics back or have them destroyed..even tho they were in their own bedroom..because the neighbor was on his own property and they had their bed in plain view thro the open window..matter of fact i do believe they had alil legal trouble of their own..because sodomy was illegal in the state at the time..there are tons more laws..lee-ways here and there..it really boils down too what state u live in and what county..i can go on and on about this..it really is a never ending legal hassle that will never be sorted out..my english friends think that we should have one universal legal system across the country much like england..but this is america and we do try to be a bit more fair i tell them..case by case every situation is different..plus america is too damn big.

Kemberly--thanks!! that was very helpful and informative!! the poor couple!!! I cannot fathom this concept of not respecting people and their privacy!!! I know I suffer from it but that is due to religious community standards, and I can live and breathe more freely if I move away and have nothing to do ever again with the friends and family who go by the standards. But that is my choice.
I cannot see that it is a choice for someone like ROb, because no matter where he goes, he is hunted down--it isn't a matter of avoiding one place because it causes you anguish, it is everywhere, potentially. Even if he were to give up acting because he cannot stand the intrusion and lack of freedom and privacy, it is too late, I fear; they will still go after him, and although I normally give the benefit of the doubt, I feel concerning Rob that the papz do it out of spite, not just to get the photos. They know he doesn't like it and doesn;t want to feed them.
I have to think of this some more and figure out a way to keep Rob-et al- safe and unbothered, whilst making it very unhealthy or at least very miserable for the papz.

kemberly--I think the complications here (compared to England) are because US is so large, and because in order to form a union, states were given rights, or else they might not have agreed. States rights vs Federal govt has always been an issue in the US, no?
I just read that the Queen gave some warnings to papz re her family, and I think some of the guidelines ought to be adopted re citizens everywhere: that when it is their private lives, keep away. I also don't see how the 'public domain=everything goes' rule is fair really because those papz were on top of and under Rob and his friends, and alongside the car. That is no longer public, when you are in someone's face and space. I hate people in my personal space without permission-- it REALLY bothers me--and I wouldn't want anyone else's space invaded either. All part of loving your neighbour, I guess--not wishing on himself what you don't want for yourself. But then, since when did the legal system care about ethics, morals, and rules like that?
For the ladies (solas, Kemberly,) who were discussing Paparazzi laws/restrictions and the public ground issue. I get that, but they violated it when they entered the garage under the hotel presuming the hotel owns it. And there was one person who realized it: Dear, sweet, inebriated Rob, reminding them they were on private property! Add to the fact, the scumbag who was on the ground under Rob's face, within maybe a foot or 2 at most. Making matters worse and more hurtful, Rob has said he has "personal space" issues. This was a huge violation in more ways than one. I'm so thrilled it has galvanized the real fans to do something. Go GIRLS. 1,000 supporters on ThinkingofRob?
Just a little humor. TV on GMA this morning, I'm in the kitchen, and all I hear is something about a story coming up about somebody going against the paparazzi. I'm thinking OMG, can it possibly be, the girls have done it, they're on National TV with the protect Rob movement. Alas, it was about the Queen. But maybe it will help.
lallieb--perhaps someone (or a lot of someones) ought to suggest to the tv programmers to do something on papz and their intrusion into people's space, the law at present with free reign in public domain (and what that actually means); discuss the legalities, laws proposed; bring in what the Queen said, memories of Diana may she rest in peace, and (to make a difference of dead vs living, may long we live) the ThinkingofRob campaign and Rob himself.
I guess this is a noble crusade but I’m not sure how much good it will do. I had a look at the photos and video and this has happened on tons of occasions and will happen again. This is my take on it.
Rob was alll hobo-ed out in those pics. On top of that, I bet he’d had a few beers and was gargled. Of course he was probably a bit hammered, out on the town with his boys. He knew he would be looking dead rough so covered his face. Or else, if he had shown his face, he knew the photos would have been tagged like “Rob – Twilight Saga drives him to drink – Intervention by pals at concert” or something like that. Seriously. Americans don’t seem to understand the concept of going out on the piss. Of course, the paps were out of order at the hotel.
And I bet we’ll see some photos of Taylor now, frantically covering his face and hiding. Desperate for the same kind of attention and reaction that Rob has just gotten. But, whereas Rob DOESN’T want the attention, Taylor really, really does.
