Robert Pattinson in a 'deleted New Moon scene' still shot
It looks like possibly a deleted scene still shot from when Edward and Alice bring Bella home from Italy. If so... why on earth did they delete this from the movie and PLEASE put it on the DVD. Please?

While I LOVE NEW MOON and everything Chris did.. I did feel deprived of the return from Italy scenes..

I LOVE this pic. I am looking SO forward to the DVD coming out. I've seen New Moon 8 times and I can tell you that I will be going through some serious withdrawal from the time New Moon goes out of the theaters and on to the DVD.
Also looking forward to seeing the deleted scenes and hearing Rob and Kristen talk about the movie (on the DVD like they did for Twilight) I feel a little deprived as well because this scene was deleted, but the part where Edward asks Bella to forgive him and then they kiss....well, that makes up for it !!!!

NM kind of felt that they ran out of movie time at the end, it seems rushed to me. No coming back from Italy, no bringing Bella back to the house, & the whole proposal needed another half hour. Like they used up all the time in the Volturi fight so the little boys would like the movie.
I sure wanted to see chief Swan go crazy at Bella's return from Italy, hopefully I'll see it in the dvd extras. *crosses fingers*

Chris did do a good job. But ITA w/Suz that we missed that entire time on screen when E and B are returning from Italy to Forks, and arrival in Forks. Lots of nonspoken emotion on the plane ride home.
Anywho-I'm all for a director's cut as well.

UGH why they didnt put that scene?¡ The last part was too short Edward and Bella should have had more developement on that time. I hate Melissa Rosenberg.
I agree, I would have loved to have seen Charlie go off at bella and edward when they got back from Italy... I also would have loved to have seen the bit where bella has her epiphany and explains her visions, it's a shame that isn't in there.... I did love the movie though :D
I agree with all of you. I really missed the Italy return with Charlie scene and also the nightmare scenes, I don't mind if the movie had lasted 3 hours (I believe most of the Twifans agree with me)

I believe it was the director's cut that is being shown, but I know what you mean. I'd like the 'extended' version, too, with as many deleted scenes in as possible. Chris said 20 min or so of footage which is considerable. Maybe, like Jackson, he was planning this all along! I noticed they've released Harry Potter I& 2 with scenes re-inserted. It's a trend...

and there are a lot tof pics from scenes that we didn't see at the movie.. like this one when he left Bella at home after Italy, I remember one pic they both going to Edward's house to make a vote thing...the pic from both walking..remember?

My DVD of New Moon will be completely worn out with in a week!! ITA with all of you about the end...it did feel a little rushed and i missed all the E/B parts that weren't there. I still loved it though!!
I know....Lovely screenshot.. When I saw it on the movie companion I was disappointed that it wasn't in the movie...
yeah I want this in the movie too!! I too would like an extended version with deleted scenes intact. That would be awesome. Same with twilight, for the life of me I cannot understand why the deleted scenes were removed!!!
p.s. that said, just saw NM for the 4th time yesterday, and still LOVE it.

I've have liked more of the Edward/ Bella reunion and the flight back to the US, when Edward is kissing Bella's wrists etc on the plane... The ff My Yes, My No covers this really well - it's haunting....
I really loved the scene in the movie back in Bella's bedroom when Edward is begging for forgiveness - he really does look so very sorry and guilty, my heart melts every time I see it.
Seen New Moon 6 times now, and every time I love it more. Taylor, Kristen and Rob do a really great job... Edward really is beautiful and mysterious in this movie, so well done Rob - every time, I sit there with my mouth hanging open thinking "wow".
I truly hope they do put it on the DVD: Charlie lashing out at Edward was one of the scenes I was looking forward to, as well as Edward's rage in the vote scene, and I was quite disappointed when I found they weren't in the film :(... I do hope that at least this one will be on the DVD!
Not too long ago people were lashing out at Rob's suits--too old fashioned, etc.--but he looks gorgeous in them; and, suits were very appropriate during Edward's human time.
