AU--alternate universe. So you'll have canon-like characters, but put in alternate situations or setups. Like Last Rites has a wonderful canon Edward, but how he meets Bella is different and goes from there.

AH--all human. Hydraulic Level 5 is not rooted in canon, but the story between Bella and Edward is really beautiful--they fall in love very early on in life, marry , then divorce --and the story begins with Rose's impending wedding, and Edward possibly bringing a gf for the festivities.; December 6, 2009 at 1:17 AM

I did see a twitter from DS last week (?); he was working on a Sunday on Eclipse post-production. I thought "wow, NM success is putting serious pressure on Eclipse ALREADY!".

But, during the tour, CW got LOTS and LOTS of praise; none of the cast mentioned DS much---and they had just finished filming Eclipse.

It's twisted. lol Basically some pedophile played by Patrick Wilson lures a young girl online into meeting him--and the young girl(played by the girl in Juno) ends up trapping him and sorta going vigilante on him. It was good, but very harsh and uncomfortable to watch.

I don't know. Robert mentioned Eclipse being more "harsh" himself, and Robert and Kristen and Taylor were somewhat reserved in their praise of DS in the EW cover article, so I'm a little worried.; December 6, 2009 at 1:28 AM

Reason being the reaction of the Twi 3 in EW interview when asked about if they have any input into who director should be. According to interviewer, there were groans from the 3 of them. They shoot and put Eclipse in the can very quickly and we know nothing about it (Summit keeping it under wraps of course, all in the timing). On the other hand, I had total faith in Chris Weitz delivering the goods on NM and, frankly, I was disappointed. All blame to Summit for what goes down with these films.; December 6, 2009 at 8:14 PM
