Yeah, I thought it was boring too. The interviewer's fault. No pro, all giddy fangirl with the personality of a soda cracker. Harsh. Sorry. AND was it me, or was that a rather loooong interview for an actor that nobody even knows yet?
I guessed 3rd Street Promenade too. Or maybe The Grove?
And did she say that Rob wears reading glasses all the time, or herself? I'd go back and listen to it again, but...I'm wiping up the blood from the first go round.
I thought she said the Sam guy or Kiowa wears reading glasses? Ugh I can't watch again! Not Sam but the guy who plays him... I don't know the wolf boys names!
Well, I'm not able to access the interview, but I'm sure getting what feels like cabin fever. I am getting very restless not being able to view even one current Rob tidbit. However, I must say at the same time that I hope he will enjoy a restful holdiay season w/family and friends sans annoying paps (is there any other kind). JUST NEED TO SEE HIM IN HAPPY MODE SOON, PLEASE!!!!
OMG... GIRLS... PLEASE STOP THINKING LIKE A MALE... REMEMBER MALES...MOST OF THE TIME... THINK WITH THE WRONG HEAD!!!
This was a very good interview of two girls hanging out... shopping... talking... That's what girls do... we talk a lot... it's just natural. EVERYTHING does NOT always have 2 be about ACTION... ADVISE 2 ALL GUYS: Learn 2 talk a little more ... and u just might ... just maybe... get A LOT MORE ACTION!!!!!!! And if u GIRLS were LISTENING... yes listening is important 2... she says Chaske wears reading glasses and yes he is a werewolf. ROB is GREAT... I LOVE him 2 the sky and back.... but EVERYTHING is not always about him! And because he is NOT perfect... no MALE is... I would assume that sometimes even OH HOLY HOTNESS can be a JACKA$$... Just sayin... But we are all here 4 the same reason... WE ARE ALL ROBSESSED!!! :o)I LOVE this site... just started making comments and it is SO MUCH FUN!!
So we're down to this LOL. It'a amazing to me that when Rob is doing promotion, paps are all over him every time he walks out the door, but if he's not doing any promotion, they have no idea where he is. Just seems strange.
Yeah, I agree with RPG, it was a bit boring... or maybe I'm a lil sleepy tonight. 2 girls talking... with not much to talk about. Hum...
I've noticed so many new names in the contest thread. Or maybe people are just changing their blogger names and voting again?!? Okay, I'm def. sleepy... nite, nite! :0
They don't know where he is because there is no 'official' schedule for him AND he's obviously not putting himself in places where he can be tagged; celebrity laden hotels and hang outs. Although interestingly enough...
As soon as he showed himself at Bobby's concert (whom they KNOW is a personal friend of his), they're there. It's possible to stay under the radar if you want to. You just simply stay out of those places where the papps hang. And if you want to be papped (as I suspected they did last August at the Chateau, the Pallihouse and then at the KOL concert), you just go to where they are.
And I wasn't thinking like a guy where this interview was concerned. I wasn't looking for 'action', I was looking for an interesting conversation. I did not find one here. I got no problem with 'girl' talk. My problem here was, this interviewer was lousy. She came off as a starstruck fangirl. Just my take.
rpattzgirl... I'm sorry... I joke A LOT and I am CRAZY... but in a GOOD way!! I bet Rob would not appreciate that b/c I'm his biggest fan... :p LOL... apart from his Mom, of course!! I must agree though... there are some REAL CRAZY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD... See them EVERYDAY... Their kids are who I feel sorry for... so my new quote 4 all the REAL CRAZY PEOPLE out there:
Oh.. and Nik... I apologize... maybe I jumped the gun with saying that guys do not know when 2 appreciate good conversation. And maybe it was ur name that made me think that about some guys... See when I think of some guys with the name Nik... it makes me think of someone who is VERY PUSHY... AND NEVER LIKES A LOT OF QUESTIONS... AND INTERRUPTS PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE EXPRESSING THEMSELVES. But now that I have read a few of ur comments... I think I now have a different view on guys with the name Nik... Actually I like ur sense of humor and logic. I'm sure u are a GREAT GUY!!
Uh, yes, everything IS about him. At least for me. Hence the title Robsessed!! Most definitely enjoy all comments on many issues, silly or serious-but still all about him. Thank God for this blog!!
So, something I've always wondered about: Do female "werewolves"/"shapeshifters"/whatever, imprint too? Or is Leah doomed to utter lonliness? Is this at all mentioned in the book? I can't remember.
Nothing to apologize for. Were just expressing opinion here.
Oh and btw...I'm a girl. Because if I'm not, with the comments I've made about him around here...I am the gayest man in America. LOL! Not that there would be anything wrong with that.
Hmmm...yanno, that does beg the question. Just how many gay men do you suppose are posting here as women? It's okay guys. Come on out. As Veils said the other night, this is a disease. It's not our fault. He's the devil been sent to beguile us all.
Teri, it isn't always. LOL There was a movie once, that really touched me. Can not remember the name of it. There were some scenes in Little Ashes too. Not even the making out scenes. Just the touches.
hey, ladies, just thought I'd stick my head in here to say, although I'm known as RPL (which is cool with me!), the previous posts by RPL are not me. =)
Yeah. Thought it might be The Grove. I remember when there was no Grove. Just the sweet, simple, uncomplicated Farmer's Market. And like everything else, they had to go and ruin it with another friggin' mall. Why don't they just put a goddamn roof over this country and call it...
'The United Fucking Mall of America'
As for the 'guy on guy' thing. I don't why I find it hot. Maybe because it's...forbidden? Although 'girl on girl' action I suppose is just as forbidden and it don't do a thing for me. Maybe it's because men turn me on and women don't (don't mind me girls while I sit here and analyze myself. Carry on. I'll be back in a minute). Meaning, if I'm turned on by a particular man (and god knows I am), then I won't care who he's doing it with, I will find it hot. Because I find him hot.
I mean, in my humble opinion, those scenes with Javier in LA, were the hottest scenes Rob has ever shot...thus far. Because it was...Rob.
Hmmm...Okay. I'm done.
Actually, I'm crazier than a shit house bat. But I'm guessing you guys have already figured that one out.
I knew it wasn't you. I think we've read enough of each other's posts that we can -at least a bit- recognize each other's 'voice.' Or should I say, maybe we can recognize a voice we don't know.
Actually, I am a bit. They say that all artistic people are to some degree and that we are attracted to it in others (geez. what a bunch of friggin' nuts)
In fact, I've always thought if I ever found a cure, I'd have no personality left at all.
i didn't think that the interview was that bad but whatever, not much thought into it...
anna kendrick was on the view and they asked her what it was like to act with rob in twilight and with george clooney in up in the air and she said it's like having a real cute cousin that everyone wants to sleep and she says she doesn't think of them in a hot way at all.
just read MOU, wow i cried too, i felt her physical and emotional pain too :( my son came in the room and i told him my allergies were bothering me cause he really wouldn't understand.
thanks, guys! ;) and Nik, I know just what you mean-btw I'm usually always nodding in agreement when I read your posts, I appreciate people who can use good common sense!
*sigh* has it only been 11 days? I feel like a junkie that needs a hit! lol the contest is helping, though, it's fun. :)
lol @Ana, my son always goes geesh mom are you reading again. Its so funny.
@Nik - I get where you are coming from. I am a gemini so by nature I am not all the way there sometimes. I jump topics when talking to people and then look at them like they are stupid when they can't keep up. I am also notoriously doing 6-7 things at a time, which my DH always gives me the big eye roll for.
speaking of guy on guy action, i liked broke back mtn, i thought it was a sad love story. on another site they are talking about kristen & dakota on the runaways and they said that they have a hot scene, dont know if it's just kissing or more. but they are showing a quick clip of it and dakota looks great, older. i wonder if they will compare the chemistry between kristen/dakota, like they are comparing robert/emile LOL.
NUTS R US, doesn't cover it. My cousing keeps telling me I need an intervention, yet she knows as much about Rob as I do. Maybe we all need group therapy.
I didn't watch the interview but it sounds like I'm not missing much. I do think Julia Jones is gorgeous however. Perfect for Leah.
Um, you are all going to think I'm nuts but I don't mind the drought at all. I felt a little overwhelmed in November with everything. It was like Rob overload (not that that's a bad thing at all) but I feel like I've got enough to tide me over.
Hey, Emily! :) nope, you're not missing anything in that interveiw-the only Rob related thing is in the title...she says that Rob is very professional. the end. LOL
I found it challenging to keep up during the NM frenzy, too, but...IDK, it sounds a tad nuts, but I miss him!
see, this is why I need to be in Nik's support group. =)
emily - you are not nuts, i agree with you. someone on another thread wished that the pappz would stalk him to get a pic, i was like what?! we had so much of him in november i think i could survive without a pic for a while, it would be nice to see him but i do hope he gets a bit of a private life.
Its amazing I tried to scrapbook once, and did 1/2 a book and was bored to tears, but I religously come here everyday to feed my robsession. Then I send links and clips to people so they can also become robsessed, how do I do this. I have two kids and a full time programming job, yet I make time for Rob.
Gozde, Dani and Kate are our suppliers and we are some crazy rob crack heads.
OH MY and lets not even start with the amount of fanfiction I have read. I probably need to have my eyes checked. LOL
I have to admit, the whole "I don't shave when I'm not working" comment does have me curious to see a recent picture though. I keep thinking about how Joaquin Phoenix looked at the end of his career... LOL
Yanno. Maybe this is what we need to get us through the drought...GROUP THERAPY. And not that were looking to cure anything. Oh no. We've chosen our disease and were sticking with it.
Just a little support. And maybe a little enterprise. In addition to 'The Sparkling Peen' sex shop, we'll just get our little 'Nuts R Us...who wanna bang Rob Pattinson's brains out' therapy group up and running. We could even sell the ususal; t-shirts, caps, mugs, key rings (though boring they might be). Or we could get creative. Window blinds. Microwave popcorn. Our own salad dressing. Or how 'bout some wallpaper. No, not that wallpaper. I'm talking the actual shit we put up on our friggin' walls...yanno? In our houses?
Talk about 'Nuts R Us...who wanna bang Rob Pattinson's brains out.'
Of course.
Nik
P.S. Wait a minute. What am I saying? ROBsessed is our therapy group. And our motto should be...
NEVER! NEVER! FIND A CURE!
(think I need to go lay my head down on my desk for a spell)
Ana - Ugh...I would not wish the paparazzi on anyone but themselves.
LOL @ Rob the unabomber! I guess he probably did shave for the Vogue photoshoot. Which, by the way, I'm completely stoked about. Did that sound lame? Do people say 'stoked' still?
I also call ppl douchebags on a regular basis and ppl looked at me like I was a dork and now amazingly the little teenyboppers have brought that term back.
LMAO @ Nikola! although I think Emily would agree with me that we should throw in some Rob corn-on-the-cob while we're at it... ;)
Emily, that's freaky...I was just re-watching the Joaquin Phoenix/Letterman train wreck interview about an hour ago-no lie! dear God, let's hope on his very worst morning-after Rob could NEVER look like that!
LMAO, Ana and ADM-I seriously hope it was an act, there was some talk of a "mockumentary" to blame, but if so they're keeping it quiet! so I think it may have been real...and I really loved his performances, especially in Walk The Line! what a shame.
ugh, his hair was even matted on the back! fresh off the mountian, indeed! lol
Ana, thanks. But then Jacob imprinted on (or is it imprinted in?) Rennesme. Didn't the girl have any choice? Didn't she have to imprint on him as well?
i used to think that he was cute in a way but i'm not into mountainmen LOL. but i had heard of the "documentary" too that his brother in law was doing of him, who knows.
Bring on the corn on the cob! I can not get that image out of my head. We will never be having that again at my house. No need to explain THAT to my husband.
Seriously RPL. That interview was a train wreck from beginning to end.
I was totally kidding about Rob looking like Joaquin. But let's be honest, if it came to that, I'm pretty sure we'd all have a change of heart as to what we think of that particular "look." LOL
Yeah, as much as I hate the papps, I'm so hoping a pic with the beard surfaces somewhere. 'Cause you can pretty well bet that it's gone now. Summit wouldn't let him wear one for an official photo shoot. Although...
If he doesn't have to be in Budapest till February...OH MY GOD! That could give him SIX WHOLE WEEKS to grow it back. Jesus. In six weeks, he'd look like Grizzley Adams.
the imprinting thing in BD was way weird for me, too...a guy can imprint on a baby knowing that someday he'll be having a sexual relationship with her?
emily - that hairy is sexy but joaquin was like chewbaca hairy, yuck.
nothing is growser than to see a man with a full on beard and has food in it, yuck, i want to throw up. my brother-in-law has that all the time and sometimes i cant stand to look at him. my husband has a goatee and i make sure he keeps it trimmed.
RPLover, exactly my point. I wonder how are they gonna put this in the movie. You know, there will be kids watching... It can give 'confused' messages. Weird.
good one, Emily! I'll be honest, I love him anyway I can get him...I've always like clean-shaven guys before but I'm all about the scruff these days! makes my hubby happy, although he doesn't know the reason I feel that way all of a sudden! LMAO
chaos, I know what you mean! there's a bunch of BD stuff that has me curious as far as how they will deal with it...I really don't know what they're going to come up with, guess we'll find out!
Yeah in my opinion they could leave the imprinting thing out and Jacob could hook up with Leah Clearwater.
They could leave Jacob out for all I care that would give us more Rob screen time. Although I desperately want to see the scene in the driveway where Edward drops to his knees in anguish over Bella and is begging for Jacobs help. Rob could play that so well.
If I were writing that script, I'd drop that aspect of the story like a hot potato. It's just too damn controversial. People did not 'get it.' And I do not believe it is going to make a smooth transition to the screen.
Picture it. Sicily. 1920 something. Oh. Sorry. Wrong show.
Picture it. Jacob looking at newborn Renenesse (or however the fuck hell you spell that stupid name. Carlie should have been her first name, not her middle. E&B's fathers are more paramount to the story than their mothers anyway). Anyway...
Can you just imagine Jacob going all gooey over this CGI newborn baby who's going all gooey back at him? It's ridiculous and they're gonna be laughed off the screen. I mean my god, if they laughed at Alice's vison of the two of them running together in the forest (wasn't that bad, looked like an Anne of Green Gable moment to me), what the hell are they gonna do with Jacob and that baby 'falling in love.' Taylor should scream to high heaven...
I WILL NOT DO IT!!!
Some 'ideas' just simply do not translate to the screen. If they can pull this one off -without getting their heads handed to them- it will be a fucking miracle AND if they don't, it could ruin the film and finish up the entire series in ridicule and mockery.
Let it go. You're professional writers. Come up with another way that Jacob doesn't want to kill that baby. How 'bout this?
He realizes she isn't a monster and makes a CONSCIOUS choice, that he simply cannot kill Bella's child. Even a child he thinks is responsible for her death. That would be something a 'man' would do. Not a petulant 'boy' who doesn't kill her because his choice has been taken away as she's now his imprint.
Does that make any sense? Am I wrong here? I mean, I understood what Meyer was doing with the imprinting (it's not pedophilia), but even I say...DROP IT!!!
I'm with you, ADM...I could never convince myself that the characters were acting like they should have in BD, especially Edward. I'm wondering if the saga will go out with a whimper instead of a bang. :(
I actually remember the day she posted on her site about the unfinished draft being leaked and that she wasn't going to finish it. I was so mad. I shed many tears over that. I hope she doesn't wait too long.
no, I didn't hate BD, either, and actually I always get a little worked up when *spoiler alert* Alice swoops in at the end of the non-fight. (what do you want to bet there's going to be some actual fighting in the movie?) but I just think that there's going to be a lot that won't translate to or be near-impossible to show on the big screen. I'm sure the Summit folks are trying to figure that out as we speak! Because I'm convinced that there will be a movie, they wouldn't leave the story hanging forever, or miss out on all the profit.
and yes, SM please, finish Midnight Sun!! I wonder how much fanmail she gets pleading for just that? LOL
Oh I totally agree about things not translating into film very well, or at all. I'm terrified for BD the movie. All the more reason to get CW on board! He may be able to pull it off.
Edward didn't kill Jacob because he could read his thoughts and knew that he didn't have 'those' kinds of feelings about her. He would one day when she was an adult, but not yet.
Edward knew that this wasn't pedophilia but rather, the meeting of two souls and that souls do not recognize physical age.
Now if they could get THAT idea across on film (with any plausibility), they might have a chance with this 'very strange' idea. If not...
It ain't gonna be pretty. The female critics (at the very least) will crucify this thing.
I really should go to bed. My little one has two ear infections and I have a feeling I'm not going to get a great night's sleep but it's so fun chatting with you all.
I agree, I think the movie needs CW, and anytime I've heard his response on the matter it was always with a positive tone. he's cautious, but interested. I hope Summit does the right thing!
I've got an obscene amount of FF's in my waiting list, so I haven't been searching for any others, but I hope that someone out there has done an Edward POV for Eclipse and BD, I'd love to read them!
LOL, Emily, I think you did but I forgot to respond...now THAT is a billboard I'd swerve for! they'd better post warning signs a mile ahead to ward off accidents! =)
sorry to hear about your little one, mine just got over pink-eye. doesn't it suck when your kiddos are sick! hope you get a good night's sleep.
Stephenie Meyer will indeed finish Midnight Sun. There's just too damn much money to be made not to. Little/Brown will pressure her with...'you owe us babe.' And she does.
I don't think it's any coincidence that she pulled the plug on this thing just as she was taking her first critical beating for Breaking Dawn. I just think her bubble got burst and she just needed to go off somewhere and lick her wounds.
yeah, Nik, I think you're right on both counts. and I think I remember her saying that she does intend to finish it, though she doesn't know when...if I remember right she said that she wants to see it as a hardback book to complete the collection. whenever she decides to do that, I know I'll show up at Barne's and Noble! LOL
Having sick kids is the worst. I'm glad yours is better! I always feel so bad when I finally take them in to the doctor and it turns out there WAS something wrong and they weren't just cranky for no reason.
Did you see the pictures of Kellan in Cosmo? Let me see if I can find them...
no, Emily, haven't seen them but I might be persuaded to take a look... ;))
last year she had a raging case of strep throat and I didn't realize it soon enough...I felt so bad! If only they could just tell us what hurts...hope yours gets better soon!
Ok everyone. It's only 9:30 here in LA, but I'm pooped. It's sure been fun spending the evening with you. See ya latah.
And Emily... I have suffered from ear infections since I was 3 years old, having had three mastoid surgeries before my 8th birthday. What has ALWAYS helped me is, heat. A heating pad with a towel laid across it. And olive oil. Just warm it up (not too hot) and pour it in their little ears and hold it in with some cotton. And then lay them down on that heating pad.
Sorry. You didn't ask for any advice, but there's just nothing more painful than an earache (it's right up there with a tooth), and I just can't stand the thought of someone suffering with this. Especially, a little one.
Hope they're feeling better soon and that you all get a good night's rest.
Ahh i missed a fun night! Real life got in the way. There's a Jack ass on the newst thread that I'm picking an arguement with, so will hop on over there.
Nik I thought the whole imprinting by Jacob on the baby thingy (YUK..PUKE!)was SM's way of tidying all ends up and stopping the wolves from coming after the Cullens for turning Bella into a vamp. I agree with anyone who says this book is going to be difficult to bring to the screen without serious rewriting. "Dark side of the Moon" by Blondie is a good 'Edward version' story for anyone who has not read it.
I don't think the imprinting between Jacob and the baby had anything to do with the Cullens turning Bella and needing to keep the wolfpack off of them. Remember, Edward asked Jacob's permission to do so, to save her. And as Jacob was the heir of Ephraim Black, he was the true alpha, not Sam (he just had to claim his birthright). If Jacob said yes to something, then the pack could not go against him.
Now Meyer could have done it for the sole reason that by being Jacob's imprint, the pack could not harm her. Remember, they were going to destroy her because she was a hybrid human/vampire. They didn't know what they might have on their hands with her so, better to destroy it, than take a chance.
So many saw it as pedophilia, seeing only that Jacob was fixated on a baby girl that he would one day be sleeping with. I believe Meyer meant it as a 'meeting of souls' and that the soul does not recognize physical age.
What bothered Edward was not the idea of imprinting as he felt it mirrored his feelings for Bella, but rather, that he now had to share his daughter with Jacob. He'd had to battle him for Bella and now...his baby girl too.
But Edward did not see anything 'improper' with it. And if anyone could, with his ability to read other's thoughts, it would have been Edward.
Did I explain that okay?
Nik
Oh and you're welcome Emily. Hope he's feeling better soon. Poor little lamb.

The few things she said about the movie give me hope that Eclipse will be good. Makes me happy.
OMG what a boring interview.....
That looked like 3rd st promenade in Santa Monica...
MoTU updated, and she broke my heart in this chapter...
Yeah, I thought it was boring too. The interviewer's fault. No pro, all giddy fangirl with the personality of a soda cracker. Harsh. Sorry. AND was it me, or was that a rather loooong interview for an actor that nobody even knows yet?

We are so short into Rob drought, but it feels like it's been so loooonnnggg....
I'm so glad he's out of the pappz radar right now-but a nice little fan encounter would be lovely..
Where are we? Day 11 or 12? I know this is nothing...and by will be foaming at the mouth by Jan or Feb, but this is already a killer...
Well, I'm not able to access the interview, but I'm sure getting what feels like cabin fever. I am getting very restless not being able to view even one current Rob tidbit. I miss Rob..maybe the papz don´t recognize him anymor with his full beard LMAO
rpattzgirl
yes,we'll be foaming at the mouth with our knickers in a bind. If he only knew the muliple effects he has on women.

Oh I'm guessing with the photo shoot yesterday, that the beard is gone and he's gonna have to start over.
Although come to think of it, I think it would be very interesting to see him in a formal photo shoot with a full beard.
'Course, I like the scruff.
Nik
So we're down to this LOL. It'a amazing to me that when Rob is doing promotion, paps are all over him every time he walks out the door, but if he's not doing any promotion, they have no idea where he is. Just seems strange.
Geez RPL, chillax... It was a boring interview, so what? No need to get all crazy!
Yeah, I agree with RPG, it was a bit boring... or maybe I'm a lil sleepy tonight. 2 girls talking... with not much to talk about. Hum...
I've noticed so many new names in the contest thread. Or maybe people are just changing their blogger names and voting again?!?
Okay, I'm def. sleepy...

Eclipse better be good !!! It's my fav book!! And yeah that was a really long and boring interview ..never watching that again!!
Oh.. and Nik... I apologize... maybe I jumped the gun with saying that guys do not know when 2 appreciate good conversation. And maybe it was ur name that made me think that about some guys... rpattzgirl, thanks for the tip on MOTU. I just read it and I cried. My DH looked at me like I was a space cadet.
Oh, and this new banner? Gorgeous!!
RPL...
It's all good.
Nik
lol @Nik. I wondered that myself, how many gay dudes post as girls.
Teri,
I've never given it a single thought before, but now I'm wondering.
And why do I think that even the possibility of it is kinda exciting?
Maybe because I've always found guy on guy action incredibly erotic?
Yeah. I have. I do.
Nik
lol @Nik. I think there I have seen one guy post here before, haven't seen him around in a while.
What character does julia jones play ??
This interview is at the grove in LA.
Teri, I just got caught up on MotU, too. Sad. Hope things get better soon.
Nik, I was laughing at the thought that you were a guy.
I've seen Frederico post but no other guys. He doesn't post regularly.
Oh Nik, yeah guy on guy can be hot.
Kimmie, I am pretty sure she plays Leah.
Yes, this was done at The Grove in L.A., I've been there many times! Totally recognize it.
ADM that's what I was thinking - Leah ClearWater.
I've never found guy on guy hot. Not even with Heath Ledger (RIP).
Teri, it isn't always. LOL
There was a movie once, that really touched me. Can not remember the name of it. There were some scenes in Little Ashes too. Not even the making out scenes. Just the touches.
yeah the touches in little ashes were probably the hottest i have seen.
hey, ladies, just thought I'd stick my head in here to say, although I'm known as RPL (which is cool with me!), the previous posts by RPL are not me. =)
probably you knew that, but just making sure! LOL
The original RPL, I never even considered it.
Nik
@Nik - I don't think you are crazy
And no RPlover...
I knew it wasn't you. I think we've read enough of each other's posts that we can -at least a bit- recognize each other's 'voice.'
Or should I say, maybe we can recognize a voice we don't know.
Does that make any sense?
Nik
Thanks Teri...
Actually, I am a bit. They say that all artistic people are to some degree and that we are attracted to it in others (geez. what a bunch of friggin' nuts)
In fact, I've always thought if I ever found a cure, I'd have no personality left at all.
That's so sad. LOL!
Nik
i didn't think that the interview was that bad but whatever, not much thought into it...
anna kendrick was on the view and they asked her what it was like to act with rob in twilight and with george clooney in up in the air and she said it's like having a real cute cousin that everyone wants to sleep and she says she doesn't think of them in a hot way at all.
just read MOU, wow i cried too, i felt her physical and emotional pain too :( my son came in the room and i told him my allergies were bothering me cause he really wouldn't understand.
pining...got it!
Nik...I <3 you!
Ana...LMAO!
thanks, guys! ;) and Nik, I know just what you mean-btw I'm usually always nodding in agreement when I read your posts, I appreciate people who can use good common sense!
Teri...
Maybe we should start a therapy group and call it...
"Nuts R Us...who wanna bang Rob Pattinson's brains out"
Hey. I think it's got a real ring to it.
Should I pass around a sign up sheet?
Nik
Yes RPL, 11 FREAKING DAYS! I feel everyone baring down on me. LMAO
Can I stand in line with you will we wait for that hit?
Nik...sign me the f*ck up!
speaking of guy on guy action, i liked broke back mtn, i thought it was a sad love story.
on another site they are talking about kristen & dakota on the runaways and they said that they have a hot scene, dont know if it's just kissing or more. but they are showing a quick clip of it and dakota looks great, older.
i wonder if they will compare the chemistry between kristen/dakota, like they are comparing robert/emile LOL.
NUTS R US, doesn't cover it. My cousing keeps telling me I need an intervention, yet she knows as much about Rob as I do. Maybe we all need group therapy.
Good evening ladies!
I'd like to sign up, too, Nik-sounds like just the kind of group I should belong to! haha
ADM, you bet, hop in line with me! but I think our almighty dealer (Goz) is asleep, and her stash is dwindling. we need a new shipment! LOL
LMFAO @ RPL, why yes a new shipment would be nice.
Emily...stop hogging the calm. I could use a little.
pining that cracked me up!
I agree! NO NO NO
emily - you are not nuts, i agree with you. someone on another thread wished that the pappz would stalk him to get a pic, i was like what?! we had so much of him in november i think i could survive without a pic for a while, it would be nice to see him but i do hope he gets a bit of a private life.
LOL
LMAO @ hogging the calm!
I have to admit, the whole "I don't shave when I'm not working" comment does have me curious to see a recent picture though. I keep thinking about how Joaquin Phoenix looked at the end of his career... LOL
emily - so what are you saying rob might look like the "unabomber" LOL that would be a great photoshoot.
Do people say 'stoked' still?
lol @pining yeah my eyes are always bloodshot from reading so much.
LMAO...unabomber...
LMAO...Rob crack heads...
*shivers*... Joaquin Phoenix...hope to hell not
Emily I say stoked all the time.
I kind of enjoy the drought because then people get more creative with wallpapers and banners and photomanips and I just sit back and enjoy the ride.
emily - i am "stoked" too, i think people still use that word.
i am sure the pappz are camped out all over the place just waiting for a rob sighting but he his doing pretty good at avoiding them
I am confused on the Joaquin Phoenix thing what did I miss??
Teri, LOL at the douchebags comment...I say that, too! it's just so fitting a lot of the time...
hahaha
Hi, girls!
I second puddle's question: do females imprint too? Or only males?
Do you remember reading anything about this in the book?
Curious minds, indeed.
here, Teri:
http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/late-show-where-s-joaquin-phoenix-2-11-09/pavnrlfq
just try not to cringe! it's impossible.
RPL - you are making me laugh "his very worst morning" . i still wonder if it was all an act that joaquin did that on letterman.
Teri, last time we saw JP he looked like he had not come down from the mountain in a decade or two.
chaos - i dont remember SM addressing the issue of girls imprinting too because wasn't leah the only shewolf.
Rplover,
yeah bb knew it wasn't you!!!
LMAO, Ana and ADM-I seriously hope it was an act, there was some talk of a "mockumentary" to blame, but if so they're keeping it quiet! so I think it may have been real...and I really loved his performances, especially in Walk The Line! what a shame.
ugh, his hair was even matted on the back! fresh off the mountian, indeed! lol
pining - yeah, i dont know but i think he is still on the break from life.
*grins* @ RPG-just a little manic, don't you think? :)
Ana, thanks. But then Jacob imprinted on (or is it imprinted in?) Rennesme. Didn't the girl have any choice? Didn't she have to imprint on him as well?
It sounds so sexist...
i used to think that he was cute in a way but i'm not into mountainmen LOL. but i had heard of the "documentary" too that his brother in law was doing of him, who knows.
RPL, loved him in Walk The Line. It is a shame that he walked away and left us with the freaky mountain man memory.
Grrrrrrrrrrr...
Nik
Btw, sexist and pervert. Afterall, she was a baby. Always thought this was way too weird...
Sorry, just thinking out loud.
chaos - i really didn't give the "sexist" thing a thought. but i think for the girl it's like "love at first sight", i dont know ?!?!
the part of the interview where he sticks his gum under Dave's desk just made my jaw drop! I almost hope he was high, it would explain a lot! (j/k)
Rob is hobolicious, but not completely homeless. ha
the imprinting thing in BD was way weird for me, too...a guy can imprint on a baby knowing that someday he'll be having a sexual relationship with her?
too freaky.
the whole interview was actually great the way letterman handled it, it was too funny.
so do you think if rob did go all mountainman/unabomber he would lose alot of his fans???
I like him hairy
http://media.photobucket.com/image/robert%20pattinson%20beard/EricsFairy/rob-1.jpg?o=2
oh my RPLover he was as high as a kite in that interview..heart breaking I always have enjoyed his movies.
Hopefully he's off the site. Maybe he's Fredrico and he's reading so much FF and visiting robsessed so much its making him look like a crack head.
Just a thought.
"Love at first sight" with no other choice...
OK, I'm off the topic.
off the stuff not off the site
emily - that hairy is sexy but joaquin was like chewbaca hairy, yuck.
nothing is growser than to see a man with a full on beard and has food in it, yuck, i want to throw up. my brother-in-law has that all the time and sometimes i cant stand to look at him. my husband has a goatee and i make sure he keeps it trimmed.
Emily, I like him hairy too.
Teri, that is too funny. He is one of us, no wonder!
I loved Bella's initial reaction in BD "You imprinted on my baby!!!"
So would have been mine.
RPLover, exactly my point. I wonder how are they gonna put this in the movie. You know, there will be kids watching... It can give 'confused' messages. Weird.
Ana, LOL @ Chewbaca! - I love Grizzly McPattinson but he will NEVER be scary like that. Yikes.
"maybe he's Frederico" ya know, maybe! LOL
good one, Emily! I'll be honest, I love him anyway I can get him...I've always like clean-shaven guys before but I'm all about the scruff these days! makes my hubby happy, although he doesn't know the reason I feel that way all of a sudden! LMAO
Teri, I thought it was off the Edward didn't kill Jacob at that point.
well good night ladies, off to bed.
sweet hairy rob dreams to everyone :))
chaos, I know what you mean! there's a bunch of BD stuff that has me curious as far as how they will deal with it...I really don't know what they're going to come up with, guess we'll find out!
Good night Ana. Try not to dream of Joaquin.
goodnight, Ana! may the scruff be with you...
=))
OT but did you hear Kellan Lutz is going to be the new underwear model for CK? Yeah, those billboards won't cause any car accidents...
Goodnight Ana! Sorry I brought Joaquin up....I really hope you dream of Rob, not him.
RPL, I say let them rewrite the whole thing. Then maybe Edward will act like Edward. LOL
Good night pining. Sweet Rob dreams.
Goodnight pining!
Good night, girls. I'm off to work.
night pining! :)
here's my favorite look for him:
http://media.photobucket.com/image/robert%20pattinson%20mexico/makememories/Robert%20Pattinson/in%20Mexico/RobertPattinsoninMexico2008-4.jpg?o=7
not necessarily the tie, though I'm not complaining, but it's inbetween some 5o'clock shadow and full-on beard...just, soft. yum
As for the imprinting...
Nik
Mmmm...me too RPL. I want to rub my face against it.
night chaos! nice chatting with you.
I'm with you, ADM...I could never convince myself that the characters were acting like they should have in BD, especially Edward. I'm wondering if the saga will go out with a whimper instead of a bang. :(
Nik, ITA with you. and LMFAO at the Sophia reference! I love her. :)
I didn't hate BD, didn't love it either.
She HAS to finish and publish Midnight Sun though. That will make everything okay for me if she just does that.
Emily, please let her finish Midnight Sun. I think somewhere she said her mother said she had to finish it. Maybe she will listen to mom.
I actually remember the day she posted on her site about the unfinished draft being leaked and that she wasn't going to finish it. I was so mad. I shed many tears over that. I hope she doesn't wait too long.
I must say goodnight.
yeah emily I agree. I have ready the partial midnight sun draft more than I have read twilight.
Goodnight ADM! I wish you no mountain man dreams and lots and lots of Rob scruff deliciousness. That made no sense but you get what I mean.
goodnight ladies. Its midnight here off to dream land I go.
no, I didn't hate BD, either, and actually I always get a little worked up when *spoiler alert* Alice swoops in at the end of the non-fight.
LOL
My ultimate wish is for SM to write the entire series from Edward's POV but I know that will never happen.
ADM and Teri, sweet Robdreams to you both! it's been fun. :)
have you read Dark Side of the Moon? I almost forgot that it wasn't an SM book while reading it, it's so good! Read just like Midnight Sun.
Goodnight Teri! Chat with you later!
Oh I totally agree about things not translating into film very well, or at all. I'm terrified for BD the movie. All the more reason to get CW on board! He may be able to pull it off.
I've heard a lot of good things about Dark Side of the Moon. I'm definitely planning on reading it.
Nik
I really should go to bed. My little one has two ear infections and I have a feeling I'm not going to get a great night's sleep but it's so fun chatting with you all.
A few more minutes is all...I swear. :)
Hmmm...so did I mention about Kellan being an underwear model? I did?
Have no doubt girls...
Cynical of me. I know. But that's my hunch.
Nik
yeah, Nik, I think you're right on both counts. and I think I remember her saying that she does intend to finish it, though she doesn't know when...if I remember right she said that she wants to see it as a hardback book to complete the collection. whenever she decides to do that, I know I'll show up at Barne's and Noble! LOL
Having sick kids is the worst. I'm glad yours is better! I always feel so bad when I finally take them in to the doctor and it turns out there WAS something wrong and they weren't just cranky for no reason.
Did you see the pictures of Kellan in Cosmo? Let me see if I can find them...
I agree, too Nik. I just hope it doesn't take ages.
http://theirishtwilightsisters.blogspot.com/2009/12/kellan-lutz-hot-cosmo-pics-quotes.html
Yeah...he's pretty.
no, Emily, haven't seen them but I might be persuaded to take a look... ;))
last year she had a raging case of strep throat and I didn't realize it soon enough...I felt so bad! If only they could just tell us what hurts...hope yours gets better soon!
uh, the third one down, OMG. um, wow...those are smokin'! thanks! =)
Nice, huh?
That's a lucky lady, right there.
By the way, I think he's wearing white leggings but for some reason, I don't care.
I really should head to bed. Take advantage of some sleep while I can. Thanks for the well wishes!
It's been awesome. Sorry again about the whole Joaquin visual. LOL
Night all.
Nik
Ahh i missed a fun night! Real life got in the way.
There's a Jack ass on the newst thread that I'm picking an arguement with, so will hop on over there.
yeah, I don't think that was a very rough day of work! lol
it's been a blast, as usual, but I'm going to have to call it a night. chat with you later!
Aww, thanks for the tip Nik! I appreciate it! He's only 5 months old and it makes me sad to see him hurt. Thank you!
Night RPL! I'm really leaving now.
Give 'em hell rpg!
Shit. I can't believe I'm back here.
Katy...
@ Nik
but remember who is it embry or quil? that imprints on a toddler remember? i know that isn't important in i think it was in BD.
The whole imprinting thing is kind of weird.
There are a lot of parts that are going to be difficult to do and also to get the points across to the audience.
But i do agree with about they should take the imprinting out.
Nicola6-count me in on your Rob therapy group. I really miss free baggin', pajama Rob! Just call me crazy.
