Q: You’ve said there are a lot of similarities between New Moon and your own life? Can you give us some examples?
RP: In the beginning, Edward, my character, leaves Bella without any explanation, because he thinks it’s best for her. We’ve all made that kind of mistake. I’ve broken up with a girl before because I was convinced it wouldn’t work out, and I’ve been dumped without any explanation. In short, just like what happens in New Moon.
Q: Which vampire power would you like to have?
RP: Being able to disappear... for obvious reasons!
Q: You’re considered one of the world’s sexiest men, adored by thousands of fans. Leonardo DiCaprio has even said: “finally there’s someone to take the burden off me.” Is all this fame a burden for you?
RP: Nobody’s given me an instruction manual for dealing with it. I kind of stumbled into it by chance. When Twilight first became a hit, people on the street would call me Edward. I think they’re fascinated with the character, not me. It’s true that I can’t move around as freely these days. I can’t go out alone anywhere I might be recognized. A lot of the time I feel like a nocturnal animal, blinded by the headlights of a car about to run over me. But I refuse to complain about what’s happening to me. I just have to hunker down and let a few years go by. I know this craze will eventually die down. Then I’ll be able to look back and say I lived through some extraordinary things.
Q: What’s the craziest thing a fan ever asked you to do?
RP: The first time a girl asked me to bite her neck, I thought it was funny. She was completely serious; she wanted me to sink my teeth into her....
Q: Has all the hysteria ever gotten to be too much?
RP: I was leaving a beach, at the Cannes Festival, and found myself facing a big swarm of people. The bodyguards had to lift me up over the crowd, to get me to my car. It was surreal... but I’d rather just laugh it off.
Q: So what does draw you out of your lair, despite it all, make you willing to brave the hordes of fans?
RP: Discovering a foreign country. I’d like to take a trip to Vietnam. Maybe I could explore the beauties of Asia on a motorbike, with a rucksack. But I haven’t mentioned that to anybody but you, so keep it hush, so I can travel in peace. (laughs)
Q: What do you do when you’re not filming, or doing an interview, or trying to escape your groupies?
RP: I sleep! I work nonstop, and I’m a pretty shy guy, so I prefer the peace and quiet of my hotel room to a night out in a club.
Q: Are you working on other projects?
RP: I make myself do different movies between every Twilight shoot, because it’s a relief to go back to being a normal guy. That’s why I wanted to do Remember Me (editor’s note: set for release in February 2010) (Gozde's note: It's been pushed to March 2009)in the beginning of the summer. It’s the story of two lovers who try and save their relationship while grappling with family tragedies. I insisted they let me shoot it without make-up. I could finally touch my face and express my feelings without a mask covering my skin. Just be myself.
Q: Apparently you’re not allowed to cut your hair until all the Twilight shoots are over. A bit frustrating?
RP: Hair gel is the greatest modern-day invention! (laughs) It lets me keep Edward’s hairdo, or flatten down my hair if I want. Do I ever dream of just shaving my head? Of course!
Q: You and Kristen Stewart call yourselves “good friends.” What kind of bond do you share?
RP: We’ve both been living through this great Twilight adventure from day one, that alone makes us close. No one can really understand what we’ve been going through over this past year. When we’re together, we’re on the same wavelength, without having to say a word.
Q: To wrap up, the question everybody is wondering about... Are you in love?
RP: No. I don’t have time to have a girl in my life, anyway. I hop from one plane to the next. Nobody could stand sharing the life of a guy who’s always gone. For right now, I’m focused on my career. I am SO happy I adobted the "if he's not shagging me.."motto...it just helped me stop being frustrated over those who took every itty bitty silly thing as "proof" of whatever. Now I am like oh hey cool if they are, and if they aren't cool still. I DO really appreciate the strong friendship (yes that is what I call what R&K are. Whatever they put in that friendship is their own personal business!) and I totally get it when Rob says they can be together without even speak. Yep I got friends like that too.

1. As someone who has read Grazie numerous times, its a gossip/fashion mag. Pretty pictures, content? Not very reliable given the stuff they have said about celebrities in the past:)
2. Why would R and K go out of their way since August to neither confirm or deny their relationship, and have K make a huge deal about not telling anyone if R is going to tell "the truth" to a magazine the same day (LA Press day) he and especially Kristen made a huge deal that it was their personal life and noones business whether they are or arent...
3. Who cares? Why are we all so desperate to prove yes or no. BOTH of them have made it clear that they want to keep the nature of their relationship to themselves. And that is their right!
I do not believe that Rob would tell them he is not in a relationship when he has not been answering those kind of questions in a while. I think that something got lost in translation. Rob has not denied it or said yes .

Gozde, I hate that you have to stress over people getting nasty in the comments regarding this subject.
I wish that there was a way for the intense speculation on this subject to end. It's just crazy. I think they are both in a no-win situation--the more reclusive and elusive they are, the more people want to know. But would it be different if they were more forthcoming? Somehow, I don't see things being any easier for them if they were 'out' more, either alone or together.
As far as anything between them being staged by Summit, I just have to wonder if either one of them would really agree to this. Rob as of late has mentioned that he doesn't have a publicist, doesn't want one, and I get the feeling that he wouldn't take to being told how to conduct his life in that way. Same goes for Kristen. I may be naive about this, but for Rob to refuse media training and a publicist, it doesn't make sense for me that he would agree to stage a possible-fauxmance with his leading lady. If anything, I would think that Summit would be worried about how a real-live relationship could affect these two on screen--as in, if they are together and things end (badly) before BD start filming, how could that affect their on-screen chem. Just a thought...

First time poster (on any Rob related blog). Thank you to the site managers for all the hard work.
I came to the whole Twilight thing because of Kristen, and her filmography (which I've followed since Panic Room), and while I found Twilight to be a fun guilty pleasure - it was the unbelievable chemistry between Kris and Rob(not Ed & Bella)that got me hooked(and trolling fan sites when I should be working).
Those two exude romantic chemistry in a way I've never seen before, so to chalk that up to Summit PR seems off. I have a hard time believing that Rob or Kris would go along with the craziness just to satisfy studio suits.
What I don't get, is why not just come out and say, point blank, "we're just friends, that's it?" They haven't been particularly convincing in any of their denials. And the body language between them is crazy hot.
All I know is that they both need to give a big Fuck Off to Breaking Dawn!

As for this ongoing discussion that will never die: It doesn't matter if we care or not, they are never going to tell what their exact relationship is. Time will tell if they are together or not, as im sure they'll both be doing other projects. If we see them together at that point, then yeah, it might be something more than just friends.
Someone else has also mentioned that "most" hollywood relationships don't last, so if they confirm anything, then they have to confirm when they break up. I for one would hate to tell the media my boyfriend and I broke up.

All video interviews (which can't be skewed or reworked or cut and pasted, mostly) show them to take their craft very seriously. They've got too much integrity to mislead just for the sake of promotion. My two pence.

Kristen and Robert both have scripted answers for answering this, and the media plays with those scripted answers to a degree. Both their answers serve different purposes.
Kristen says she isn't going to answer it, she's trying to keep something's private. Kristen has had a pr problem, this answer makes her look more sympathetic to all the girls who hater her.
Robert says they are friends in various contexts, they are close, and they've been through a lot to gether. This helps all the fan girls not feel threatened by Kristen, helps explain away any further sightings off the clock like there were in NY and LA in the past two weeks("they are just friends! they've been through alot together!"),and keeps them loyal for Remember ME in March.
ps: I have a inkling they are together, but i'm not totally sure, but their answers aren't about their actual lives. People need to remember these answers are given in the middel of what comes down to personal informerical during a promotional tour for a movie they are selling.
They are nothing more than amway salespeople in this context, and they are simply there to make the fans happy. Not discuss the reality of their lives.

MOST IMPORTANTLY I hope that his comment about shaving his hair off is also something that was lost in translation (SORRY LOISADA, GREAT JOB THOUGH)LOL I didn't think when he cut it so close to his head that it made him look his best last year. The best look to me and I know for a fact so many others, is when he was in Rome. RomeRob was sexy as hell. His hair was the perfect length and the highlights made his hair look even better. I follow Robsessed on Twitter and do not post here often, but I have to say, who ever translated this article had an agenda. Take it for what it is, but I personally support there privacy.As should all fans, and support them as a couple, if that's what they are. People need to get over this and maybe take the time before posting an article, check dates. The scans so obviously are from July, the interview if even true from way before that. The issue is, if people are true fans why add to the drama? the rumors? Im not trying to offened anyone. I just hate to see all the drama and rumors most are not real, and that goes both ways, Robstens and Nonstens.

Karina, I happen to hold the same opinion. I think they are together, regardless what is said in interviews. For me actions speak so much louder than words. I watch the two of them together - the body language, the mirroring of postures, gestures, etc. - the way Rob looks at her (ogles, sometimes!), the way he smiles at her (sometimes on the sly), the way they have always interacted, the sudden refusal to answer any more questions about their relationship, etc., etc. I have always had a VERY accurate sixth sense about discerning relationships. And I do believe they are also best friends. (God, I would hope that my lover would also be my best friend.) It's clear to me. However, these are just my observations and intuition, and I respect everyone else's opinions pro, or con.
Having said that, I really don't care (except out of personal curiosity because, duh, I love Rob and want him to be happy). I don't have any stake in the outcome, I'm not emotionally invested in the issue, my life will still go on whether I'm right or wrong, whether they are or aren't. And I give them bigtime kudos for sticking to their guns and not discussing or confirming the issue publicly. I cannot see Kristen (with her strong personality and sense of self), or Rob (with his recent comments that he hates to be managed, pr'd, or told what to do), ever agreeing to be manipulated by Summit into deliberately generating the ambiguous are they/aren't they contoversy. Not going to happen.
But if I'm wrong about them being romantically involved, then oh well. No big deal. I'll still drool over Rob and follow his career, and hope only the best things for him. And the ONLY thing I will know absoluetly for sure is (to quote you, Goz): HE AIN'T SHAGGIN' ME!!!

There is no "real" article, there are 2 articles published at 2 different times. The second has quotes apparently lifted from the first in several places, so they probably cobbled some of their purported "quotes" from that old interview.
Not knowing that, does it mean I shouldn't translate it? I didn't have an agenda, but since the "new" article was making the rounds on the blogosphere I thought the readers here would want to read it too. It claims to be a new interview from Nov 6th, and I took them at their word. If they're lying, that's their bad, not ours. And the people who might have had an agenda were the people who wrote the article. Perhaps you should take it up with them?
I personally think that Robsessed should be damn proud of having readers that know Rob and his interviews so well, they can sniff out scams like this! So we debunked Gracia, is that bad?

I think it is amazing and praiseworthy that not only did Loisada translate to we all can see what is said, even the garbage, but also that readers were able to detect the shyte in general and the pasting of previous words, in general.
I wonder what Rob thinks of the idea that his words are so valued by so many, that they can detect his statements from previous interviews. :-)

I have never weighed in on this Rob and Kris debate. I frankly don't care.
I love the characters they play! I adore both of their personalities in interviews. Fun and interesting people. Quirky and a very non-standard.
The only thought I have ever had on this is that I want Rob to be happy. I have hoped he was in a relationship of somekind so that he had someone to care for him and listen to him and nuture him a bit. (Wild, crazy sex is not a bad thing either.)
I am perfectly happy in my marriage, no matter what heavy breathing I may do when I see some pic of him, I realize I would never dump by adoring hubby of 23 years for a crazy, young brit, so I hope with all my heart, he is happy.

Jesus, I haven't posted on this site ever since the hand holding/non-holding pics. I had no intention of posting again for awhile but, I have changed my mind after reading the post that others have made on here. First off if you don't like what the administers post then don't come here. Second: Gozde NEVER said the article was true. She is just posting it I'm sure because it is info regarding Robert. I for one like to read everything or used too, whether it is fake or not. I get a kick out of the BS lies these mags make up. There should be no reason to bash someone because they posted something that is on damn near every other blog out there. I hope they continue to post everything Robert Pattinson related. True/false/offensive/non-offensive/sexy/non-sexy (ok doubt that's possible) but you get the point.
Anyways from what I have seen and read on this site Godze, Kate (? and I don't know the 3rd person)are no Perez Hilton/Ted C./or other media crazed Z list celeb blogger... This site to me seems like a fan club type site, which is why I still visit here daily.

I agree with rubydynasty. My gut intuition and observation of R&K's body language, verbal statements and pictures (like Kris leaving Rob's hotel in the morning, lol) is suggestive to me of an affair going on between them. Why would they work so hard to protect their privacy if there wasn't something to hide. But if I'm wrong it's no big deal. I don't care. One thing - I refuse to believe Rob's been celibate the past 2 years. He's getting it from somewhere, if not Kristen then some mystery woman, lol.

Hmmm... personally, I'm convinced that he and Kristen have a love connection. But this is how little I care - I have friends at Summit, and I can't even be bothered to ask them to confirm. Rob seems verrrry happy these last few months, and that's all I care about. I love seeing a smile on that boy's face! I hope he's getting some somewhere, because it would be a crying shame to waste all that hotness.
I confess I can't understand the Robstens or the Nonstens - the intrusiveness into a stranger's personal life is... odd. I get being a fan and being interested and caring about their lives... but Robstens can get pretty stalker-ish. And the Nonstens are just as strange - why are they so invested in believing Rob is not with Kristen? *scratching head* It is kind of entertaining to watch the histrionics though!

Have a great time tonight at Sam's show. I saw him last Wed. in Hermosa Beach, and last Sat. at House of Blues on Sunset Strip - WOW!! what an amazing show that was - HUGE crowd, too! You'll love his new backup band, too. When I saw him last May he was solo, but just as good.
Oh, and I saw Bobby Long last night at Hotel Cafe - another WOW!! I may see him again tomorrow night. And I will be seeing Marcus there on Friday. YUMMY!!!
(I saw both of them at Hotel Cafe last August, too - you remember, with all the R/K sightings & pap frenzy? Let's just say that after Marcus' show on the second evening I was lucky enough be standing 5 feet away when Marcus walked from the stage through the crowd.......and following right on his heels was ROB!!!!!! Yes, ladies, ROB walked RIGHT past me. And nobody bothered him, or asked for his autograph, or picture - they respected him but sure noticed him!!!!! You think he looks good in photos...wait till you see him "in the flesh"! I have a photo of me with Marcus from that night and I'm touching the infamous plaid shirt Rob wore the next day to the Teen Choice Awards. My humble little claim to Robness!)

The more I see and read, the more I've really had it with at least 2 factors that seem to be accepted as part of the life of the famous: ragazines, and paps. And I wish that if there are no laws to stop them, that there would at least be an effective way to develop/force a sense of ethics and morals so that they are not acceptable.
I see the rags at the market, and although for some, like Rob and Kristen, they are just ridiculous, or nuisances, for some I am sure they can harm. Think of what misery some of the headlines can bring to children who read about their parents supposedly being vile, or breaking up any day now, etc. And we know the role paps played in poor Diana's death, and we know that Rob himself was in danger when in a car, being chased by them.
So these are not just benign or merely obnoxious accessories to life when one is 'famous.' They really are NOXIOUS, really do cause harm.
This site is laudable for calling/exosing mags on what they print, and from what I understand, Gossipcop is as well. Somehow we need to do more to totally stop the madness.
I wish I had enough free time in my life to look into every single mag. interview out there to know which one is new, old, recycled, wrongly translated, fan fiction, copy/paste....etc. I'm lucky enough this blog tries to keep us updated as much as possible.

Real people with chemistry and a connection that's hard to find. If you haven't heard the story already from day 1 at the audition there was this major chemistry. Such major chemistry that the director Catherine Hardwicke had to warn Rob not to start anything with Kris. Kris had a boyfriend anyway, Micheal who is 3 years older than her. Kris was 17 and Micheal was 20 at the time. Kris has been with him since she was 16. Knew him since she was 13. They stopped dating this year most believe around April when she was 19. So her being a teenager with someone older is not an issue. Micheal is a year younger than Rob...22. So I'm sure Rob and Kris do "like" each other. But it's odd that Rob and Kris spends so much time together. Rob has been saying how much he wants to go back home to London(he did for the premiere for a few hours), but yet in still he is in LA??? He probably will be there until he leaves for Christmas. It's a soap opera. Yes, it's their business. No, they will never tell us what's going on. It's just the "IT" thing to talk about until there is something bigger that comes along.

Has anyone considered that Rob and Kristen just got back from being in places where they HAD to be in public, doing events and appearances. Now they're back in LA and can hibernate...and catch up on rest. I adore seeing new pics of Rob & Robsten just as much as the rest of you...But they know the second they step foot outside, separate or together, it's going to be a flurry of paparazzi. I do not know Rob or Kristen, however part of me, like a lot of you, want to believe they are together...call me delusional. Signs point to yes from what I have seen, but who knows.
I will say this though, that I absolutely do NOT think it's a publicity stunt from Summit. It seems like too much of a risk to take..."act like you're together, be coy.." However then all of a sudden back in LA and not together... Call me crazy, but Rob and Kristen seem intelligent and very no-nonsense. It doesn't seem to be something they'd go along with.
